Hi, I am a frequent visitor of this specific location. There is one particular individual I believe he is a manager there. His name is Greg. He is very loud and obnoxious. He is very rude to his associates and also doesn't look very clean. I was here recently and he walked by me and got a bad foul smelling odor that came off of him. I went to the trash threw my food away and left after that because I could not even finish my food with the thought of how poor the hygiene standards are at this place. Most of the staff is friendly and this location is clean. Someone of a higher caliber should speak with him about this matter because it could be bad for business. read more

When we go to Culver's it's usually just a quick trip through the drive thru. Today the kids and I decided to grab some ice cream and chicken tenders and eat inside for a change. We were immediately greeted and asked if we had any questions. Every time we come even in the drive thru the employees are so friendly! We ordered and were given our number and the kids found a nice cozy corner booth. Within a few mins our ice cream was out. I actually didn't think about it at the time but maybe I should've ordered the ice cream after the food as the ice cream melts pretty quick. We got the flavor of the day which was chocolate covered strawberry today. It was yummy! We also ordered a basket of tenders and fries. The crinkle cut fries are ALWAYS hot and crispy and the tenders were pretty good too. I'm not a big fan of fried foods but the fries are awesome and the kids liked the tenders. Big chunks of white meat and a think coat of batter which is what I like. I hate tenders that are just big clumps of fried coating and no chicken. Yuck! So these tenders were on point. Service was quick and friendly, the tables and inside the restaurant was nice and clean. Oh I also LOVE how they have recycling as well as waste bins. Culver's is a good place to eat. They have wide range of items on their menu with a good variety. Burgers, sandwiches, fish, frozen curd, shakes, malts, you name it! It's great to see the crinkle fries. Don't see them too often and they are a welcome sight! The service was fast. They give you a plastic number stand that you put on the edge of your table. Then they come by and switch out the number for your food. Easy and simple process. Their parking lot is a little funny but not to hard to navigate. Just know you can't always take a direct route in. Otherwise there is a ton of parking. Oh, and they have a drive though as well. I haven't tried it so I don't know how fast it is. Overall, I would definitely recommend Culver's. I am a huge fan of Culver's! But yesterday was a terrible experience, my mother and I went inside to order two concrete mixers and fries. We ordered our food and first got our concrete mixers, and we patiently waited for our fries to come out which took up to 10 minutes. While waiting, one of the girls that were working in the front. Super clean restaurant with super friendly staff serves up some of the best fast food you can find in Peoria. I had high expectations coming in here. People always compare it to Freddy's Custard and Steak Burgers. I think that's an apt comparison. The quality is up there, the burgers are super tasty. Our food arrived HOT. Like steam coming off the meat patty hot. Whoa mama. The shakes are very good, they use real ice cream and you get to add toppings. Wait, back to the burger. It's very good. Mine could've maybe used sauce of some kind, but that's probably my fault. I got the Wisconsin Swiss melt. Should've asked for mayo! It was very juicy. Love this place. Delicious chicken sandwiches, pot roast sandwiches, butter burgers, soups & chili and excellent salads. Their cheese curds, onion rings and frozen custard desserts are excellent too. Management was very friendly and accommodating to our large group of boys. My son's baseball team always struggles to find places to eat that is delicious, friendly and large enough. Friends from Wisconsin had been recommending to me for years that I try it one of the days when I get out there. But alas I also find many in the Phoenix area! I got the double mushroom butter burger, cheese curds, and a cashew caramel custard. A bit heavy but I could have a small dinner later. Wow! I was not disappointed. The burger was just very delicious. The meat was cooked just right, the patties were a good size, the cheese and mushrooms mixed well, and the bun was very buttery. The cheese curds were also an added bonus as I haven't had them since I was at the Minnesota State Fair in 1998. My small fries were under-salted to my liking but hot and crispy regardless. My chicken fingers were too well done to be enjoyable, and bland with the batter used--wouldn't order again. My corn dog was pretty great and had great sweet breading--I will be repurchasing that. Even with the CoVID-19 nightmare, Culver's is doing an awesome job. This is only the second time since the pandemic hit. The employees had gloves, well fitting "over the nose and below the chin" masks and no plastic "tags" hanging on your car that have to be sterilized! The "tags" were replaced with printed "sticky notes" that YOU stick to the driver side exterior mirror. When our order was brought out, Holly was very polite checked the order enroute to our car and saw that someone forgot to put a meal in the bag. She apologized, went and got a meal and brought it out, read the order to us and apologized again. I called to speak to the store manager to tell him/her the job the crew did. The food was fried crispy and was not greasy at all. Fries were ordered without salt, no problem. They were hot and crispy not soggy! The person that answered the phone said the manager was off. I asked for the manager on duty. She said she was! It was Holly! The manager on duty running curbside orders to waiting customers! My experience was so bad. i don't even know how to word it properly. To start $29 for 2 people. Just to pull up to the window and have them read our order wrong. They charged us for two doubles when it was supposed to be 1 double butter burger plain and 1 single deluxe. After explaining I wanted a single not a double the girl said "uhhhh no ?" i said "uh ya i think i know what i order" I personally don't eat doubles. so i wouldn't order that. They asked if we wanted it remade and we said yes and we would wait. she said okay they will have it right out. waited maybe 45 seconds and handed us the bag saying "we'll just give you the other double" we thought we got the single as we originally ordered and the double we paid for and the incorrect double. Halfway home, we check the bag and they didn't give us the single they said they were remaking. Only the original fucked up burger and the other double. so we drive back to give the burger back and have a single made. we drive home. just for both orders to be wrong AGAIN. This fast food trip turned into an hour long trip back and forth because they can't get an order right and then refused to remake my meal and sent me on my way. if you aren't gonna remake it at least give me the bag right away don't pretend to remake it and hold my bag inside while my other burger gets cold. This restaurant has quotes about food and family painted directly on the interior walls; some thoughtful, some amusing. There seemed to be a nice crowd the day I was there. It was a family-type atmosphere. I got a concrete mixer. The man who made it for me apologized for the "liquidy" nature of the concoction, because it wasn't too much like concrete. When you order fresh berries blended into your ice cream, though, you have to expect the high water content to impact the texture. If the berries had been dried, I'm sure the concrete mixer would have had the expected consistency. And the best part: the taste! Yummy! I'd like to go back every day for one of these and try out all the combinations, because you get to choose three add-ins. I bought the cod dinner. 2 pc.. It was fantastic! The following week I bought it again, half cooked fish on one piece. Ok , every restaurant has a moment right? Still I have that excellent fish in my mind that I first got so following week I go again for Cod dinner and ask that they cook it longer, because it was mushy in the middle and I could not eat it. No apologies. Fish was much better. Didn't last. Next time my mouth is watering for some really good Cod fish. I order extra cole slaw because it is so good. They bring it to the car, I go home. Man does it smell fishy this time. Took me a week to get the smell out of my car from BAD FISH that made me ill. There is no excuse for serving bad food and making people sick. The drive-thru staff here is incompetent. Three times I ordered a cheddar burger and it came with American cheese. The first time his happened I called and complained and they said sorry and it wouldn't happen again. The second time this happened he drive-thru girl asked me if I wanted cheese. Well, yes I do, that's why I said CHEDDAR. I suspected they messed up so I checked my order and indeed they did. I went back inside and waited five minutes before I could get waited on and they said they would make a new one and I could keep the first one. It took ten minutes for them to get me what I actually ordered. The third time, well this is when I write a review. I'm going to stop going here. If you insist on going here, check your order before you leave. Also, I should add, fast food workers have recently demanded a $15 per hour wage. Guess what, you don't deserve it! Second trip was later at night roughly 10:30, the place closes at 11, but the staff that night made the personal choice to close early and the excuse was because they're short staff? Culver's is a mix between fast food, family restaurant, and custard stand. It looks homey from the outside, but inside you order at the front counter like any fast food joint. They're famous for the Butter Burger, so Hon got a triple, and I got a double. They were delicious! They're called butter burgers because the buns are buttered and grilled, and that adds both fat and flavor! The burgers are thin and they're seared, giving them caramelized crispy edges. like an old fashioned diner burger. The fries were good, too. Not thin and greasy, like most fast food. Everything was cooked to order and came out fresh, delivered to our table by the wait staff. Culver's is also known for it's custard. We finished with Concrete Mixers, frozen custard with candy or fruit add-ins. I got vanilla custard with Oreo. Standard combo, but the flavor was great. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd definitely go back again. I'd like to try some other things on their menu, but I don't know if I can resist those burgers! This isn't the place to choose if you're trying to be health-conscious, but for an occasional indulgence it hits the spot! read more

I love Culver's from Illinois, but tonight when we went into their location there were 6 or so high school aged workers awkwardly yelling at each other rather loudly. They were obnoxiously making fun of one guy for "flooding the custard machine". Someone was shouting to the front about an order. Meanwhile, we stand there waiting and watching an employee slide and hit the custard machine because the floor was wet. I nearly turned around and left; however, I haven't had their custard for about two years, and needed my fix.
