Quick food that was fresh and hot upon receiving our order. Good burgers and custard is yummy.

Sadly you just can't go here anymore without taking forever. I live in Navarre and love this place but they never have enough cashiers taking orders and they walk around the dining room 20 minutes looking for your table so the food is cold. Went today and they were lines out the door with one person taking orders and food just sitting in the window getting cold. It's sad that it has become so bad. read more

On vacation with my family and came here for a quick bite after being in the car for 12 hours, ordered our food through the drive through and came straight to our condo with it. When we opened our bag, there was an employees acrylic nail in our bag with the open fries / cheese curds in it. We attempted to call Culver's 17 times, but their phone went straight to voicemail. My kids were exhausted so we had put them to bed and didn't want to get them back out, so we decided to go first thing the next morning when they opened at 10am. When we arrived at 10:01am, the first thing we noticed was the reaturaunt smelled awful. We waited and spoke to the manager about the incident that had occurred with our receipts and the acrylic nail for proof. The manager stated employees couldn't wear fake nails in which two employees behind the counter responded "well Michael wears them... they had some on yesterday". The manager rolled his eyes and told us he couldn't refund our food unless the owner approved it. He took our number. Four days later, we still hadn't heard anything. We went back to the Culver's and I spoke with the same manager. He stated that the owner would not do a refund. They supposedly watched footage and everyone wore gloves when they made our food. That is wonderful and all... except HOW DID THE NAIL GET INTO OUR FOOD BAG??? He offered me free food, which I refused, because the thought of eating their food is nauseating... and their entire restaurant smelled like dirty feet and sour mop water both times I entered the building. He stated the owner didn't even want him to offer us free food but he "didn't want us to leave empty handed". I am not angry about the $67 I wasted, I am mad about the principle of the matter. I am flabbergasted at my experience at this franchise and I would NOT recommend it to anybody... EVER. read more

I was concerned after reading some bad reviews and glad we came anyway. The food is excellent. The service is too. They were very busy in both the drive through and inside but very efficient. The management must be top notch because it reminds me of the way Chic-fil-a's are run without going overboard. This is a very CLEAN place including the bathrooms. It is hands down the cleanest fast food place I've ever been to. That's a big deal!! Also, I love FRIED FOOD but sometimes the grease and breading is a big let down. Here, the grease they use to fry the chicken fingers, onion rings and french fries could not be the same as what they fry their seafood in. We are talking golden, light crispy with perfect breading. The onion rings are PERFECT. No, I don't have any investment here but enjoy finding jewels like this in our travels. They deserve an honest, good review. We will be back!! read more

I've had burgers there before and thought it was great. Got butter burger take-out, not a good idea. Maybe they changed the burger type or something. The burger was seared, which was ok, and cooked completely through. Dry wasn't the word for it. It looked like a sloppy mess. read more

Is there a ZERO star option?! This place is run horribly! Waited over 30 minutes for our food (only 3 meals) and when I got sick of waiting went up front and saw our food on a tray along with 4 other orders for in store guests just sitting and waiting for an employee to bring them out. After finally getting someone's attention and getting my tray, one of the clamshells with a chicken sandwich had only the bottom bun! The staff was so unorganized and the kids walking trays around looking for who ordered them were not calling out numbers, would walk a lap through the store and if they did not get flagged down would take the tray back to sit some more at the front! Burgers were freshly made, and it taste great on those butter buns. We had battered cod, which was amazingly fresh, tasting hot, and just right with those butter buns too. The custard ice cream was smooth and creamy. The service was great. It had a family friendly experience. read more

We ordered a cone and a sundae and 4 to go custard tubs which we said we would pick up as we were leaving after we ate our ice cream. We waited by the counter for almost 30 minutes. Then when we noticed people who ordered ice cream only getting their order in about 5 minutes, I asked the manager about ours and she said, "oh, it's right here". And it looked quite melted and didn't include the cone. It was very disappointing and frustrating especially when we asked about it and the manager said something like it didn't say custard only. Which to us sounds like an excuse when really, they should apologize and own up to their mistake. I know they were very busy but we were standing there for 30 minutes very patiently with our ticket number in plain sight and no one asked us what we were waiting for. Went for an afternoon treat ride with mom and dad. They always take us to Culver's because we get dog treats but today we were surprised with PUP CUPS! Basically a dog concrete mixer - vanilla custard with a beef dog treat to top it off! I got brain freeze but that didn't stop me from finishing it! Abby's only complaint was it wasn't big enough. The food is good.... If you get what you order! The drive thru is always super slow but I don't mind the wait. What do mind is constantly having to go back and get missing food. I love custard; so for our Anniversary we stopped in our way back home from FWB. This was our first time going to a Culver's. We told the cashier this and asked how things were done while explaining what we wanted. I think he was just new. We got the custard and flavors we ordered, however, it didn't not resemble anything from the website nor the picture advertising in the store. We were expecting everything to be mixed up well together. Instead we got vanilla custard (which was delicious) with our flavors on top. Both dripping everywhere one in a tall drinking cup, the other turned over in a small cup the custard usually comes in they were waffle cones. Stopped in for a quick dinner with my granddaughter. This location is very clean and the staff was very friendly and efficient. Ordered a regular cheeseburger with fries/drink and the kids meal cheeseburger with applesauce, chocolate milk and it comes with a free scoop of custard-were able to sit down, eat our meal and then go back up to the counter to get the flavor of the day (cookies & cream), and you can get it either on a cone or in a dish. They weren't bad, but the meat patty could have been a little thicker. My favorite was definitely the custard--very creamy and a good sized scoop. Plenty of free parking and WiFi. Highly surprised at how good this place was. Customers Service Its apparent that this company took the time to choose wisely hiring their diverse but friendly staff. The cashiers greet you and smile when taking your order. They were vocal when talking to you. If you order dine, once your order is placed, you can go sit down and they will bring it out to you. Food Presentation of the food brought out was desirable looking. I had the Cod fish dinner with green beans and French fries. You have to ask for a drink, which I forgot but the cashier kindly gave me a cup even though we both forgot. The fish was perfectly breaded and cook. It wasn't overly greasy like how you get it at Long Johns. You can order between 1 to 3 pieces of fish. I ordered two and wish I only got 1 because they are good sized chunks of meat. The taste was amazing and kept me wanting another bite. The French fries were good, nicely salted, and not overly greasy. The Green Beans BLEW MY MIND! I'm not usually a fan of any restaurant green beans but Culver's has got to be the the best I've ever had, restaurant or home cook. They were bursting with flavor, perfectly cook, still had a crunch and not soggy. I almost wanted to order a to-go cup of green beans they were that good. The meal also came with a warm dinner roll and a side of butter. Cleanliness This location is in a prime area for the tourists and it was busy in the drive thru and inside. With that said, they kept up with keeping most of tables to dine at clean as much as they could keep up. Someone was always passing by looking around and or taking care of the table or drink station. I didn't go into the restroom so I can't speak on that. They also have an outside shaded seating area of four tables. It seemed well upkept. Final thoughts I'm definitely going to go back here. Culvers! The mere name conjures wonderful visions of piping hot, tasty, butter burgers, and mounds of perfectly cooked fries, both delivered to your table too hot to eat. That vision was realized! Add friendly service, super clean surroundings, and a dining area that was delightfully cool on a 90+ degree day! Okay, Culvers serves more than burgers, true. But I always seem to stall out whenever I see that first butter burger, framed on the menu wall. Someday, perhaps I'll become more adventurous, and explore the full menu. I'm not sure if it's a franchise quality/consistency supervision issue but I've had Culver's all over the states and this is the first time I've had a subpar experience. I am impressed with how well this Culver's is keeping up with orders. The dining room is closed (because of COVID 19) and the parking lot is nuts but they are moving people along very efficiently. We visited here because my kids had a Home school activity scheduled here. We are basically held captive here whike they attend their meeting. The place has been busy both times I have been here. The food here is okay. I have had better hamburgers at other places. I think the reason people come here is for the ice cream. They have a custard of the day which and made to order ice cream concrete mixers where they mix in your choice of fillings in ice cream. What I can say about this restaurant is that they are SLOW. They use a number system for orders so if you are the unfortunate sole who orders after a larger order you will be waiting awhile for your food. (That is currently happening to me.) I do like their fried cheese curds. They are like mini mozzarella sticks. yum. As for the employees they are friendly and the bathrooms are clean. That may be enough for me to be back. read more
