Mostly what keeps the number of stars down is their prices. Its the best ice cream experience in town, but far too pricey for any ice cream. I've never eaten of their food, but others have relayed to me that it is between okay and horrible especially for the price. Bottom line, if you don't mind paying out the ear for quality frozen treats, this may be your place, but I would steer clear of the rest of the menu. That's just my opinion. read more

Well as much as I hate to write this. Culver's has been favorite to my family and I. The Navarre location has been falling on their service and food preparation. This is the 3rd time in a row where I've had my orders messed up. I got the bacon deluxe with no mayonnaise and I took a bite and a big glob of mayo came out. I took my burger back and the employee that had gotten defensive and said to me I told them no mayo and as I open the burger I asked him does this look like mayo to you? He then took it back and one of the cooks was mad that she had to remake it. Then 10 minutes later I received my remake. Then my mother ordered her salad and substitute the grilled chicken with crispy and they brought it out with grilled with the receipt saying sub for crispy chicken. The server took it back and and had it remade brought back out with the right chicken and the lettuce was wilted and old with a whole piece of chicken not cut into pieces. Being that this is a veteran owned restaurant, and me a veteran, attention to detail should be taught to the employees. Customer service could use work as well. read more

Horrible my first visit was okay but last month we went and I ordered a double Swiss mushroom burger oh my I took one bite and grease was pouring down my arm!! Returned it tried another one which looked better until 2 bites nothing but grease!! Also they must use a real low grade beef! I like Culver's, and its interesting menu. I'd like to like it more, and even though the burger has a lot of technical charms, I wouldn't drive out of my way for it. The best part of the burger is the thin, impressively charred patty. The flavor and mix of condiments overall didn't wow me, but I'll definitely try it again. This was our first time here, even though we've passed by 100 times and I must say that we've been missing out on some really good food and frozen custard!! The food is made fresh to order and it's brought to your table hot and ready to eat, that's why I gave it a 5, I love not getting a heated patty. They have a really nice range of burgers and combo sizes. I love that the kids combos come with a free scoop of frozen custard. Service was terrible. We made the mistake of trying to eat inside when they had a lot of drive thru orders. We were given a number and told to have a seat. Went back to the counter after 15 minutes and they said it was coming. 10 minutes after that the store closed and all the employees were leaving so I went back to the counter and asked what was going on. They had lost our ticket and hadn't given us a receipt. When we finally got our order, mine was mostly melted. It's a bunch of high school kids working there. They need a grownup to supervise. The highest I can go at this time... 3.5 stars ... my wife and little one love the cheese curds and chicken tenders but it's my review and I was driving so 3.5 stars it is! It was my first time here and we went through the drive thru. It was around 4 so they weren't busy at all. I considered the butter burger after reading the reviews but my wife was raving about the chicken tenders and curds. After ordering the gave us a number and asked that we pull around and wait. I was thrown off but okay that means the food is cooked to order which takes time. That sucks if you are in a hurry though. I read other reviews and saw that people complained about how long it takes and I understand now. The chicken tenders are good but it comes down to preference really. I like a beer battered tender and the best way I can describe theirs is that it's like bread crumb tightly breaded. No pictures I apologize. They did come out hot but just not my preference. Long lines, one register open, manager running that register while employee aimlessly wondered around. He asked the owner to get on second register, badge said she was owner. Lots of employees there, why wasn't manager managing, taking care of his customers, making sure all three registers stayed open. I came to Culvers because there is nowhere in the South to buy a fried pork tenderloin, but now there is! It's definitely a Midwest treat that I miss down here in Pensacola. The bun was very fresh and the sandwich was served hot and crispy. I think I will get fries next time instead of the Wisconsin cheese curds. The cheese curds are good don't get me wrong, but I just felt like with the pork tenderloin I could possibly have a heart attack from all of that fried breading! And just in case that didn't do it I also ordered a chocolate malt. The reason I gave it to 3 is because really I felt like I had to judge the whole meal and only the pork tenderloin was what I would come back for. The best frozen custard EVER!! They have chocolate, vanilla, and a flavor of the day to choose from. The burgers are very good as well. The cheese is from Wisconsin, the beef is grass-fed, and everything is sourced from American farms. The patties are a little on the thin side, but the taste is worth it... Just get a double! During the summer, the wait can be fairly long since everything is made to order.... But you can taste the difference in how everything is fresh and the service is super friendly! read more
