On 7/23/21, we ordered online for curbside pick up. We ordered 2 burgers, a Reuben, 2 fries and a shake. After arriving home, 6 blocks away, we found out that we were shorted 1 burger and the other burger I would have not given my dog. The burger was not even luke warm, the bun was smashed and the burger looked smaller than a McDonald's burger. I would have been embarrassed to serve that. Middle of the road Culver's. Not the best, but not the worst. When my Wife works late on Friday night, I can count on her wanting a Culver's Fish Fry. That means it's usually custard night for me since I really don't eat the food here. I decided to ride out to this location since they were serving Rocky Road. The Rocky Road is decent here. The chocolate custard is good, the big chocolate chips in there are good, but there's barely any marshmallow in there and the pecans don't taste as good as almonds do in Rocky Road, but that's just my personal preference. The worker got my order right, even though my wife likes crazy sides to share with the kid. It was a wait, not the longest I've had at a Culver's but also not the shortest. I realized I wrote this up awhile back and hit save instead of allowing it to go live. This is all in reference to a visit on 2/5/16 ************************************************************************ I stop in here now and then before work. It's typical Culver's. Today, though, I witnessed the manager being a huuuuuuuge dick to an older customer. As I was paying an older woman was apparently asking for help getting her order out to her car or something. She was standing in the waiting area with a number like any other to-go customer; the manager was insistent that she was in the wrong place: "I need you over there," he said first, not explaining or pointing towards where "over there" might be. The woman didn't understand and asked for clarity. Listening to this go down, I didn't understand where he wanted her, either. Rather than explain, this guy gets visibly frustrated and raises his voice towards the customer. "Over there! I need you to go over there and wait." The woman shuffled around uncomfortably, obviously unsure about what she was being asked to do. She moved towards the door. "Yes, over there. No! You're in the way. You have to go over there." Oh hell no, by "over there" this guy wanted her to wait outside. In early February. Classless. I like Culver's occasionally, but that's just crude. read more

I would give this restaurant 5 stars if all the times that I came they would get my order right. Each time I've eaten here, something would be added or missing that I didn't ask for. Ex. The deluxe burgers, I would get 2 of them at a time and I would ask for JUST tomatoes and cheese, but I'd end up with lettuce, onions and pickles. So for that I'd have to give it a 3/5 star rating. However when I take the toppings off it's actually very good. And I do recommend their 'concrete mixers'. read more

Culvers is OK, I don't think the butter burgers are very buttery and anything you want extra, like lettuce and tomato are all an extra cost. I think they must press them on the grill to cook them quicker, they always have a crispy edge and a burnt flavor to me. But the 3 stars is the inconsistency of the scoop sizes. It's hit or miss, I can go in one day and get a scoop so big, it's almost a double size, and then the next week I go and it's tiny, hardly covers the cone. If I ask for a senior discount, the cone is always smaller. Most of the team members seem like their new as I always have to explain several times exactly what I want or it will be done wrong. Stopped in since I had a sweet tooth... food is always consistent at any of the locations. Went to the drive thru which had a decent sized line. It took forever.... 20 minutes for probably 9 cars. The workers seemed to be all in 1st gear. I understand they are mostly young but have some pride in what you do folks! read more

Consistently good custard and every menu item that I have tried, tastes great! I really enjoy the fish fry and fried chicken. They take a little longer because they are fresh and cooked to order, but the quality rivals many of the more formal, sit down restaurants in town. read more

My most favorite burger chain! This one in particular, is my very favorite. It's usually always busy, but I take that to be a good thing, considering there are a million other places to grab fast food on Layton. I always order the Kids Meal - that way, not only do I get the original Butter Burger, but "free" custard - score! I personally believe Culver's custard is better than Kopps, but it's like comparing apples to apples - creamy, homemade goodness just can't be beat. read more

I have been to Culver's in multiple locations across WI, it's usually our choice of restaurant when we are on the road. We always had positive experiences. The best one was when we were driving in the middle of WI (didn't even know where we were at) on our way back to Milwaukee from up north, and it was pouring, we couldn't drive on safely and there happened to be a Culver's near the exit, so we went there. The employee at Culver's saw us parked and held all the doors open for us as we rushed in thru the heavy rain. They greeted us friendly and even offered us three free custards after we ordered our meals and sat down. Couldn't believe how nice they were. Anyone could use that in such bad weather. read more

Since I live in Columbia,SC and we do not have a Culver's I had to try it and so glad I did. This was actually my second choice since the first place I wanted to go to was closed. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and it was juicy, flavorful and delicious! Not at all what you would expect from a fast food chain! Oh I wish we had one instead of McDonald's, BKs, etc thank goodness I have a career that allows me to travel! Also had the Wisconsin cheese curds because when you are in Wisconsin how can you not. I must say I was surprised at the large amount and they were equally good! Will definitely return when I am in the area! read more

I was honestly kind of disturbed by my experience at culvers two weeks ago. I was told by the cashier while ordering my food that the manager had spores? I thought it was some kind of joke, so I just shrugged it off because I had no clue what they meant. Like spores of what? Some kind of fungus? Spores of mold? Spores of some kind of alien life form? I have no clue. Whatever, so I get my food and im munching away on some pretty decent cheese curds (I do recommend them btw, with ranch) and I bite into a particularly large cheese curd and I see some pretty weird stuff inside. You'd think I'd be cheese, but no my friends, I don't even know what the hell I just put in my mouth. Its all greyish and lumpy and almost has the appearance of one of those fuzzy caterpillars. I immediately spit it out. I am genuinely flabbergasted. I kinda gag for a good two minutes and ponder what to do. I take the half of cheese curd up to the counter and demand to speak to a manager, because there is no reason some grey stuff should be in my cheese curd. The cashier that told me about the spores is looking at me in the corner of his eyes and I swear I can see a bead of sweat roll down his face. I am thinking like honestly wtf is going on, is this some kind of practical joke?! Did they just put random spores in the fryer, season, and serve them to me with ranch?? The employee comes back and tells me that the manager is on lunch. My options were to wait for her to come back or leave a message. I decide to sit and wait. The cashier that was looking at me weird comes up to me after a couple minutes and says that the manager has those weird spores all over her body and it randomly flakes off. He said he tried to warn me earlier. SO I JUST ATE THE MANAGERS FLAKY SKIN SPORES?! EW. I promptly threw up and left. I refuse to eat at culvers again, everytime I see a culvers I get a strange feeling at the pit of my stomach. The weirdest thing is that I woke up today with a gray spot on my inner arm. I liked this Culver's because it was not packed and overly busy like some of the other ones I have been to. If you go to Culver's you must have the cheese curds and their root beer. Of course try their custard I cannot say it is the best around and it really varies by flavor of the day. read more

Love coming to this location. Service is always great and quick. The gentleman who delivers the food to people in the drive thru waiting area is a great representative of the brand. Hubby and I drove thru on our way to a meeting in Brookfield. We had a busy day, we were starving and wanted to grab dinner since we wouldn't be able to eat for the next 4 hours. I got my salad and had or throw it straight in the garbage. The lettuce was wilted, I could see through it and some spots have rotted into a brown goo. I'm upset hungry and now have to go without dinner. I called the restaurant and explained to the lady who claimed to be a manager what happen. She out me on hold for about 3 minutes. She came back and told me that it's the weather that made the lettuce clear but it's still good to eat. This is my 43rd Midwest winter and I've never been served rotten food and told it's the weather. I had to argue with her. She took my name and offered me a credit for another salad next time I'm in. That doesn't change the fact that I'm going into a meeting hungry and no time for dinner until much later. I have health problems that require me to eat regularly. Next time, we will just stop at a gas station, I'll get higher quality food and no one will try to convince me to eat rotten food. This is more than crappy service and low quality food. It's insulting. I'm out my money, starving and not feeling well due to the need to eat and really don't want to go back to be insulted and treated like that again. read more

Culvers has delicious food and friendly staff. I've gone to this Culver's multiple times and it is always excellent. They have tasty burgers, salads, and ice cream/desserts. Don't miss the cheese curds. They are so good! I would highly recommend this Culver's. read more

One of my favorite fast food restaurants. I'm a fan of their burgers and upgrading my fries for cheese curds. Their custard is delicious. Take it for what's it's worth. WOW !!! Talk about a place going down hill and fast this would top the list. Ordered 3 single burgers and small soda, then sat down to watch our server pick up trash and stuff it into overflowing trash cans with her bare hands. She then continued back to picking up trays to deliver them to the tables of waiting customers. It seems that an overflowing thrash receptacle in the dining area is adding to your dining experience. Needless to say I was disgusted to watch people trying to empty their trays, only to have garbage falling out onto the floor. Trying to save money by using less plastic trash bags was enough to make me ask what else Custer's might be doing to cut corners. YUK!!! read more

Good food. Awful service. Restaurant was filled with out of control kids running around everywhere. Worse than McDonald's play land. Management did nothing to stop it. Been here 5 times in 6 months. Four of the times I went to the drive-thru, and every time they forgot the sauces I asked for. Today I went in with my family and they forgot one of the meals I ordered for my kids. As the waiter brought my food, I told him one of the meals was missing. The waiter said I was correct, and missing a meal, so the manager was summoned. Once the manager arrived at the table, I was informed that the meal wasn't on my receipt, and that I could still order it and would be given a discount. I ordered for a second time, from my table, three of us eating and one hungry child waiting for his food, and the manager brought me a receipt for the FULL amount of the meal in question that was supposed to come the first time. The manager then stated that he never offered me a discount, so I paid full price for food I should've had from the beginning. This place is a headache and needs to get their stuff together. Food was good, but the service ruined the experience once again. I would not recommend eating here until they figure out how to operate as a cohesive team and can get the orders correct. The Culvers in Oak Creek makes this place look like a circus. read more
