WOW I would have never given this place a new try as it had been decades since my last visit. But, my kid said I had to try the mac and cheese and WOW was I pleasantly surprised! They use 3 real cheeses and it's so creamy ooey gooey, like home made! The wraps were a delicious surprise as well, but a little too spicy for my taste buds, but other than that, a great wrap! Seasoned curly fries were also very good and didn't even need ketchup! If you haven't been to Arby's lately, I highly suggest checking it out! Couldn't try the roast beef, but it looked pretty darn good!?

Once you've been to an Arby's you've pretty much been to them all. The only thing that makes any of them even slightly different is the cleanliness (or lack thereof) and the level of customer service (or lack thereof). The staff has always been friendly in my experience, and the food has come out pretty quickly and has always been warm. During the lunch hour, this place is generally pretty busy so you don't have to worry about food sitting under heat lamps for too long either. My only complaint, and it's really with corporate as opposed to this store, is that they offer their combos in three sizes, regular, medium, and XL. America clearly has a problem with obesity. Why contribute to it by having extra large combo meals that probably offer more than a full day of calories and fat? I guess people are expected to show some self-control.

The lunch menu has a huge variety of options, which made it tough to choose. I went with the BLT on sourdough, served with a pickle spear and thick-cut potato chips. It totally hit the spot. The bacon they use is fantastic. My friend ordered the Sriracha Melt (ham, pepperoni, mozzarella, jalapeños, and sriracha mayo grilled on white bread), which also came with chips and a pickle. Immediately devoured. The salads looked incredible....the table next to us ordered a couple and they looked absolutely divine. Next time for sure. The adjacent market is a must-browse too. It's packed with specialty products and rare finds that you don't see everywhere, making it easy to walk out with way more than you planned. Great food, great service, and a fun market to explore. Highly recommend stopping in if you're anywhere near West Allis.

It's a food truck in a gas station parking lot across from the cemetery with a friendly guy at the window. I opted for the chicken, gyro, rice, frys and sauce on my cheddar and jalapeños Cheetos. OMG it smelled amazing like Mediterranean food. This was such a great combination. The gyro and chicken was super tender. The rice was cooked perfectly. The sauce mixed with everything well and was tasty. Overall this this super simple concept that works very well and how has no one else in Milwaukee thought of this and I'm sure other food trucks will steal the concept in time because the food truck doesn't have to stock tons of chip varieties which takes up space on a small food truck kitchen which is smart, let the customer supply the main dish. Hats off to who ever thought that they could offer an infinite number walking street tacos kind of a thing from a tiny food truck with the customers putting the time and effort to make their dish.

You walk in and it's the cutest sandwich shop as they have old metal lunch boxes hanging throughout and such a fun menu board on the wall. Not only do they sell sandwiches they sell peanut butter and different jams with fun flavors like guava, dandelion and more! I got the Strawberry Lovers on panini and it was amazing. I can't wait to go back again. They make all their jams and peanut butter and it was so fresh. Also I have to talk about how amazing the guest service was. We came in about 20 minutes prior to close and decided to get it to go because we didn't want to be those people. However, when they gave us our sandwiches they said it was fine to eat in and really no trouble at all. We still ended up taking it to go but I feel like most establishments wouldn't offer that. Overall this is amazing place and I can't wait to come back.

One side of the menu lists breakfast items, and the other side lists lunch items. I ordered the Farmers Skillet with ham, bacon, sausage, tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, and canned mushrooms, your choice of eggs, and topped with melted American cheese. I asked for no cheese, so you won't see it in my photo. The dish also comes with choice of white, wheat, rye, or sourdough bread. I assumed fresh mushrooms would be used, but I was wrong. I don't like the rubbery texture of canned mushrooms, but I know others like them. Consider this a heads-up. Also, note that their corned beef hash comes from a can. I asked because I almost ordered it. My sourdough toast was good, as expected. My gf ordered the Country Fried Steak with eggs & hashbrowns, and she enjoyed it. The service was great, as was the "diner" ambiance. I think this is a great spot for breakfast, and I would come back again. I'd like to try their lunch menu, too.

We had maybe 4 bites leftover, and no room for dessert, it was a personal victory. I'm sad I didn't get photos because I love the feel of each unique area that's here. The restaurant is bigger than you think because it's subdivided into smaller rooms. Caribbean Jaacs opened this year not far from where I work and is probably the only Jamaican…read morerestaurant in the Milwaukee area I haven't tried yet, so I stopped in to pickup a lunch order to go. My order consisted of jerk egg rolls and a jerk chicken plate with rasta mac and sweet plantains for the sides. The jerk egg rolls were good, but I don't think they're my favorite in the Milwaukee area. One of them had a large piece of green pepper in it, so I assumed the other two would as well, but I didn't find it in the others. Other than the green pepper in the one egg roll they were filled with just chicken and cabbage, so not a ton of varying flavors. The rasta mac is mac and cheese with some diced peppers mixed in. The peppers added a little flavor to the mac, but were also easy to pick out for those that don't like peppers. The plantains were probably the best I've had. They were a little mushy instead of hard, which I liked, and their sweetness was apparent. The jerk chicken in the plate came with half a chicken and relied on rub instead of sauce, which worked for me since that's how I prefer jerk chicken. I do think there's room for them to go a little heavier on the rub without making it too hot for most people.
