Culvers has the best cheeseburgers hands down. They remind me of the way cheeseburgers used to be.

We wanted to see what all the hype was about, so we finally tried this place. We needed to go through the drive thru as we had groceries. I ordered tve sourdough melt and crinkle fries. While the staff was friendly, especially explaining the different food options, the speed of the food arrival was not fast. There were a few cars in front of us that were ushered to the side to allow for other guests, with what I assume were dessert orders, to get by. Once we got our food, I of course had to try the fries in the car. They were very good and crispy. Now, the burger on the other hand wasn't bad, but it wasnt anything to brag about. While I was excited to try a burger on sourdough bread, since you aren't given that option very much, it was a little soggy. I understand the drive thru experience is different from in-store eating. Yet, I recently tried Harriet's Hamburgers for take out amd it was great. With that said, Culver's was fine. Yet, I wouldnt go out of my way to try again. read more

We've enjoyed lunch here many times. The employees are always nice and helpful, even if it is near closing time!. I do not care for ice cream but my family loves it. I appreciate that this is a place where can enjoy a meal and ice cream together even if I am not eating any. If you love ice cream, they have a list of flavors. You can also buy a pint to take home if you like. We dine inside because it is always so clean. (Even the bathrooms!! Double star for us with that one.) They will bring your food to you at your table. The burgers are really good. It is a lot of food. I usually order a single patty instead because I cannot finish it if I do not. After shopping at Sams Club, I decided place mobile order at Culver's. The app said it would be 15 minutes and to park my car in designated parking area right next to the drive thru window line. Checked in and still had 9 minutes to wait, but they bought out my food early 5 minutes. Ordered the double deluxe burger,onion rings and Colesaw. I ate the onion rings while driving back home and they were crispy and delicious. I should of order the large instead. The burger was solid, not greasy at all, well balanced burger, better than McDonalds, Jack in box,Wendys,Burger Kings , but tied with in and out for me. The coleslaw was out of this world, like the ones from a real nice BBQ joint. Real creamy and tang taste. Fast food coleslaw shouldn't be this delicious. Culver's has become one of our staples for dinner in a pinch. The food is soooo much more fresh than any other chain. At first try their buttered buns are very different and at first may seem "bland" but the reason is they don't use artificial ingredients or sauces to do too much. We stuck with them and tried multiple items until we found something we love. Crispy chicken sandwich and Atlantic Cod are two of my favorites although their shrimp are great too. Burgers just aren't for me, although I rarely eat a burger anywhere these days. Fries are crinkle cut and very basic but consistent, crispy, and not oversalted. Onion rings are delicious, pretzel bites too. Then there is the custard... very hit or miss for me. I LOVE some of their unique flavors (like turtle, cheesecake, or peach) but the basic vanilla and chocolate I would pass on. read more

Culver's is one of those places that flys under the radar. But do yourself a favor and check them out. Not only is their custard AMAZING so is all their food. Service is always friendly. And when ordering at the counter they're helpful with suggestions. The restaurant itself is accommodating to most group sizes. You might have to move some tables but it's doable. read more

We spent over $29 for fish and chips and a burger. What a waste of money. The menu is confusing and there are too many mediocre dishes. The fish was greasy and had no taste. The burger was average but overpriced. The crinkle cut fries were hot but not many were served. Cheese curds were absolutely horrible,no matter what you dipped them in. Too many screaming children everywhere you look. Go down the street to Steak and Shake for a great burger and fries. My go to favorite place for a burger. It was less than one year ago when I first heard of this chain. Now they are springing up everywhere! This one is relatively new to the area. We stopped in today for lunch. The burgers are outstanding, and the quality of the beef is evident. Even though we just ordered a kids meal, we still had to wait in the parking lot for our food to be bought to us. The fries were not very nice. The tea tasted of disinfectant. They also up charge to substitute the fries for the cheese curds in any kids meal. Today's flavor of the day was Chocolate Decadence. My boys & I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!! I've tried several things and everything is amazing, but I always get back to their Fish Sandwich!! I don't ever eat fish when I go out, but this is the best sandwich ever!! I lived in Florida and I'm picky about my seafood! This sandwich is fried, but not greasy!! It's lightly crispy on the outside! It is, very light, flaky & juicy on the inside!! The pickle compliments the entire sandwich~ As Pickle's often Do!! I just wish... They had homemade tartar sauce!!? That would bring the sandwich to an 11, out of 10! It's already 10!!! I have nothing bad to say about this establishment, only amazing things! This place is brand new. It smells new inside and they are still working on the landscaping outside. The place is very busy due to its newness. Even though the place is new and busy the order process ran smoothly and quickly. It was like a staff of veteran workers were behind the counter. Our orders came out correctly. So to start the place is defiantly clean like just built level clean amazingly. The staff was super sweet and helpful as well. I had went in being my first time and going to drive thru felt like a task considering I wouldn't sure of what I wanted. I got wanted to try their burger and ice cream particularly. They recommended the one I'd prefer based on what I said I liked which I enjoyed. They even helped get the food to the car which we needed pushing by stroller around. So for the food: I enjoyed the fries for sure. The burgers where made incorrectly. My MIL wanted extra extra pickles and I wanted none. She got none and I got one. But I would eat there again. The ice cream wasn't bad. I have to say it's like be steak and shake. Better burgers but they lost on the shakes. Not that there bad just normal I guess. read more

I was so impressed with the manager and the staff at Culver's in Kannapolis. Michael, the manager, was so friendly, courteous, and just so pleasant. Even after we ordered, I saw him sweeping the dining area. The restaurant was clean and the staff looked like they all worked well together. I attribute this to Michael's positive attitude. We have seen signs for this place, but had never been to one. We finally stopped at the new location in Kannapolis NC, .... !!!! Awesome!!! Good food yes, good prices yes, the waffle cones were fantastic! But this got me.... The customer service is next level! Take note other restaurants in the area.. wake up! Fresh and delicious every time. I have yet to have an item I didn't like - though the fish could be crispier. The pretzels and cheese are delicious albeit not worth the price. The custard? Fire. We split two sandwiches Food was expensive for the greasy mess we received Cheese curds were fresh and good. French fries might of had a chance but served with NO salt typically only requested by the elderly for health reasons not taste! the burger was ridiculously greasy (dripping grease) and not at all looking like the picture, flat grease soaked bun caused bun envy from the lady across the dinner. I asked her on the way out she had requested a gluten free bun, looked fresh and appetizing the Ruben was ok oddly cut meat decent but only after getting extra sauerkraut( served too wet needed to be drained) and extra thousand island but better than the burger neither of us would be reordered either. I was disappointed in the concrete too the toppings are not worthy.......the hot fudge taste Hershey's chocolate syrup and brownie is rubbery like a little Debbie other for me the toppings were not of enough quality to be in the ice cream. Me & Sis went to this place over Memorial Day weekend... OMG, they did not disappoint, we both had the cornbeef Reuben (no sauerkraut, thousand island sauce) on mine, added onion & mustard, Sis got everything minus sauerkraut .. these sandwiches reminded me of home Deli sandwiches in NY.... Oh it was so fresh & delicious, was not fond of the fries, Sis got onion rings, those were delish, would get onion rings in my next combo. We said we would get ice- cream b4 we went home since we had errands to run. A day later went to get ice-cream, 4 pints for $12, I got Georgia peach, it was delish, creamy, fresh, so many peaches thru out. Got strawberry cheesecake for my Son, he absolutely loved it, he wants more. Got red raspberry, this one is sssssoooo good, the quality of their ice cream is extraordinary, I will never buy ice cream from supermarkets again. The final one bought was the butter pecan, of all this was my fav.. I thought I was in heaven, it was so buttery with pecans and the consistency and taste is to die for.. Went to the website first to choose from menu before I got there. They depict butter pecan, chocolate toffee, all kinds of flavors. I get to the window, ask for butter pecan and chocolate in a waffle cone. They said they can't do that. WTF? So I go back to the website and begin to build a dish from there. I understand you close at a certain time, but when a car has been in line way before closing you really should take them!
