I've visited this restaurant multiple times and the food is pretty good. I've tried the Philly cheesesteak, chicken wings, sweet potato fries, and homemade fries. However, my recent customer service experience completely changed my opinion of this place. About 2-3 weeks ago, I ordered wings and they forgot to include my blue cheese dressing. I only ate a couple wings because I'm someone who likes dipping sauce with my food. So unfortunately, the rest of the wings went to waste. Today, I returned and politely explained the situation to the staff. I simply asked if they could provide an extra blue cheese this time due to the previous mistake. The cashier went to get the manager, Taylor, who informed me that I would need to have a "credit" on my account in order to receive the blue cheese dressing. She explained that I should have called the same day the mistake happened. I was honestly shocked by the response. As a returning customer who tips every visit, I expected a much better level of customer service and professionalism. I even asked if my tip could be refunded due to the poor service experience, and that request was DENIED as well. What's disappointing is this entire situation could have been resolved easily with a simple cup of blue cheese dressing. Instead, the interaction felt dismissive and unnecessarily difficult. The food may be good, but great restaurants also provide quality customer service and value loyal customers. Sadly, this experience left a bad impression on me. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good customer service alongside their food. read more

This is a little hole in the wall restaurant next to a gas station but don't let the looks deter you. Service has always been great. Most of the time my orders are ready when I walk in the door. We get their wings often and absolutely love the sweet chili tequila ones. Not to mention their ranch is excellent. The only thing that stops me from giving them a 5 star review is we always ask for well done and they aren't always. They are still good but we do like them a little crispier. read more

We really enjoyed our first visit to Flying Buffalo. First, don't judge the book by its cover. The space is quaint and located next to a gas station style convenience store. The parking lot is a little tight, but don't be fooled. They're small but mighty. They have a great variety of options and everything is reasonably priced. They even offer a $6 meal menu from 11am-3pm. There is a mix four-person and two-person tables inside and a few tables outside. They also offer local delivery and take out. I kept it pretty basic for this visit. I tried the Bacon Cheeseburger meal (including sweet potato fries and a sweet tea). Everything tasted great and I actually got full. The meal tasted fresh and the food came out fairly quickly. The service was awesome and the restaurant was clean. I look forward to coming back for another visit. read more

This is a hidden gem in Kannapolis. They have all you can eat wings on Monday. I ordered the lemon pepper wings and the teriyaki wings all you can eat special. The wings and fries were delicious. I will definitely be back for the Mexican pizza. The prices are reasonable. read more

I'm not just writing a review based on one experience. And I'm not here just to bash this local resturant. I've given Flyin Buffalo a number of chances over the last 8 years. I've almost always been not 100% satisfied with the food here. This past experience for me was enough to Never return. First off when we called in to order, we were on the phone with a young girl that didn't seem to know what she was doing. It took exactly 10 minutes for her to understand we wanted a Pizza, Wings and Chili Cheese Fries. She must of asked us 3 different times for each item to repeat ourselves. We ordered a Large Pizza with Extra Cheese, Extra Mushrooms on one side and Pepperoni on the other side. We also ordered 15 wings and I just like Mild where as my Wife likes Hot. They told us that you couldn't split sauces with an order of 15 wings. Which is Unheard of at every other place that sells wings. Although the Pizza claims to be Hand Stretched Homeade Crust. I can honestly tell you that this is not the case. I ordered this thing Well Done thinking it would be a thicker crust. I almost remember it being a lot thicker. But what we received last night looked like a ball of premade dough put in a Pizza Press. The crust was so thin I was suprised that the Extra Cheese was able to hold it up. The bottom of the crust had a pattern and was NOT hand streched. It really didn't taste well at all compared to other places around Kannapolis. I had 1 and a half slices and didn't even want to finish it. The Wings were another story, for a place that raves about there Wings and a City that raves about them, I don't think people know what a Great Wing should taste like. I'm originally from Westeren NY, an hour away from Buffalo where Wings were invented. And this place should NOT be selling Wings for more than $1 a piece. Especially when they are Frozen. These WIngs were 100% Frozen and probably went in the fryer right from the Freezer. Becuase not only could I taste Freezer, the sauce did not Stick to the Wings and the Fryer Oil should have been Changed the night before. Seeing as this was a Friday and more people order on the weekends. I Really do not understand how so many peole think this place is great. I guess because there's not much to choose from on the North Side of Kannapolis? Or that they have so many items on their Menu. But it seems this place is mostly run by kids and the quality of thier food really needs to improve. But I'll never know if it does after this, Becuase I can't see myself wasting $50 on a bad tasting Pizza, Wings and Chili Cheese Fries. read more

I stopped by to get pizzas for some friends and family who helped me move into my new house. I had never been here prior. I ordered two large cheese pizzas. I don't think I've ever had pizza like this before. It was super thin with a crust that was crunchy, almost like cracker or a pretzel. Honestly, I loved it. I personally prefer pizza on the thin side, and it was the perfect level of thickness for me. If you're not too big on bready pizza, either, then give the pizza here a try. I've ordered take out a few times but recently had my first experience of AYCE wings on Monday. Be warned! The place is pack for good reason on Monday. They only have a few tables. But, you can still get a deal with takeout. You can only get a 12 count for the special though. If you are able to dine in, they start you out with 12 and then follow up with 6 count from then on. For this reason, although it was cold we did this. Though, we only made it to 18 each because of the weather. Our absolute favorite flavor was the wet lemon pepper. We also tried the dry lemon pepper just in case. My second favorite was the spicy garlic! I will be getting both of those flavors from here on out. The deal also comes with a side and a drink. They have about a dozen sides to choose from too- we got wedges and okra. Both were good but I'll keep trying more on the menu to decide my favorite. Call in order: First and last time! King of no wings because the lemon pepper wings was not well seasoned. Taste like plain fried wings, cooked well. The fries was season better than the wings. Pizza thin with little to no sauce. We spent $37 on what they call a large cheese with 10piece wings combo (fries&drink). I wanted to share my concern but the owner demeanor showed, he argue with customers. I over heard a concern customer talking to him and his reply it was better to sit and order instead of to go. Nice family run business, still operating during COVID. First time going during COVID. Downloaded the app and ordered online, this was easy to do. They have curbside pickup, which was a plus. Disappointed that staff were not wearing masks nor were the customers required to wear masks. Honestly, had I known that I wouldn't have ordered. Customer service was great though as usual.
