I called in a pizza to Hungry Howie's for the first time tonight. I read the reviews before I ordered a pizza for delivery. They lived up to the reviews! I called in a large thin crust pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms. They said the delivery time would be between 25 and 45 minutes. It took exactly 31 minutes. The driver was very nice and well mannered. When I took my pizza inside it was hot. It was made correctly. More importantly, It was really good. They exceeded my expectation. I was out doing a little shopping when I stumbled upon this little pizza shop tucked in the corner of a strip mall. At first glance it looked like Pizza Hut and Little Caesars joined forces and came up with Hungry Howie's, then I checked out their unique menu to see that they were definitely a standalone pizza spot! The young lady at the counter was very patient as she helped me navigate the menu to come up with the best fit for my boys, mom and me! The boys got a two topping personal pizza while mom and I got an outrageous pizza infused sub with chicken, mushroom, cheese, lettuce & tomatoes (what an amazing sub)! Decided to order from this place as it was close to our hotel and it turned out great. We ordered the chicken and bacon ranch, with garlic flavor crust. It was so yummy, crust was soft and cheesy and it was baked to perfection, they could use bigger chunks of chicken but overall flavor was very good. It was a bit greasy so just a heads up on that, I'll suggest to put an extra sheet of liner under the pizza. read more

We indulged in two pizza pies and cheesy bread, while visiting the family on Friday night. The toppings are fresh and tasty and the cheesy bread is addictive. Besides it being totally diet busting it's a fairly good - chain Restaurant- takeout pizza. We enjoy the garlicky crust along of the loaded pizza - topped with mushroom, olives, pepperoni and sausage. The other pie had jalapeño, pepperoni and pineapple. I tried to order on the website so called the store to make sure the order was placed for curbside pickup and for some reason or another the order didn't go through. So I made the order over the phone. Lance or Larry is the one that answered and took my order after confirming the order was not there. He said 15 mins. Got there called in so they could bring it out and he said I would need to come in to pay. I had to walk in to pay and get my pizza. I told him again that they need to get there website fixed it ridiculous that they couldn't come out to get money and bring my pizza. The pizza was actually pretty good. Pros: Online ordering and really fast delivery I'm afraid that's where the good stuff ends. I got a cheese pizza and cheese bread, and both were bland tasting. It's hard to believe that a place that advertises "flavored crust" could have a crust this flavorless. Mainly I think it lacks salt. Maybe it was a bad day for the crust maker? By dousing the slices with salt, herbs and red pepper I can make it sort of edible. The sauce is not that great, either. Sadly I won't be ordering from here again. read more

Everything is awesome! My favorites are their subs and boneless wings. Both onion and ranch are my favorite flavored crusts. What's great is that you can stack flavors on the whole crust, or go half and half, with the option of stacking on those halves as well (Example: half Asiago cheese and butter, and half Cajun and garlic herb.) I was hoping we would love this place. I ordered a large two topping pizza with the garlic and herb crust, an order of buffalo boneless wings and a large garden salad. I had the food delivered and it arrived in about 40 minutes, which was the time quoted on the website. The delivery girl was shaking and seemed very uncomfortable approaching the house and making the delivery. I was immediately put off when she hands me the salad from inside the same bag the pizza and wings were being kept warm in. I was thinking what the hell?? I carried everything to the table and we got started. We started with the salad and it was pretty good. It was large enough 4 people could have easily ate from it. The lettuce was packed in the bowl. The dressing was listed as Italian dressing but it was actually creamy Italian. After the salad, we moved onto the buffalo boneless wings. Upon opening the box I was immediately disappointed. The wings were round and over cooked (burned) and way under sauced. The chicken was low quality and after trying to eat two of them, we gave up and threw them away. We moved on to the pizza and upon opening the box it looked pretty good. I ate a piece and found it pretty good, until I got to the crust. The crust flavoring is way too strong and was extremely salty. I did not care for it at all. The meal was $35 with a tip to the driver. I would not order again. read more

Kudos on the fresh salad. Very impressive! Pizza is delicious and cooked just right! Wings I requested extra crispy and they are perfect! Only thing missing was the blue cheese. They gave us plenty of ranch which is ok! Great delivery experience! Manager must be doing a great job!!! read more
