I received a coupon in the mail for a free pizza so of course I swung by. I ordered a pizza and garlic sticks. I was greeted when I walked in and told thank you when I walked out. It was a nice touch, but also reminded me of when I worked at CiCi's. The service was really nice and quick. Such a polite group - nothing to complain about there. My pizza was good! I really loved the ability to add a ton of toppings. I didn't like the garlic sticks, but I didn't want to reduce the stars just because it didn't suite my taste. This has nothing to do with COVID and everything to do with extremely light toppings. The guys were hustling so I give them that. However, when Igot home and looked at my pizza I was shocked. There were places on an 11" pizza where you could see the crust. Too many places. Please. Put some damn sauce and cheese on the pizza for crying out loud. I mean...look at it. Three of us went for lunch yesterday. Ordered three different pizzas, and they were all very good. Employees were very nice and helpful.

Being vegan, we eat at MOD at least two times a month and when traveling, we make it a point of stopping at this particular mod. They are consistently better than the rest and today was no exception. CJ literally made the best pizza we've had so far! He takes his time and makes sure that everything is consistent with a good amount of toppings. I went into Mod on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty busy even though we are in COVID times. The inside of the restaurant was very clean, the workers were kind, the workers wore mask, and they had the appropriate social distancing signs. I ordered a build your own pizza and the cheese sticks. Both were just ok...I am a blaze pizza fan and I don't know what it was but the ingredients didn't taste as fresh or homemade. I ate the pizza but not like I would have eaten a blaze pizza. The cheese sticks were ok...very garlicky. Papa johns cheese sticks are better which is saying a lot lol. The blackberry lemonade was the best past! I probably won't be back unless there was some sort of discount. read more

Loved my personal pizza! I ordered through Uber Eats and received my order within an hour. My pizza was exactly how I ordered it. I switched it up and got cauliflower crust and I really liked it, to my surprise. It was flavorful and crisp... and I didn't feel so bad about eating the whole thing! I did get Mod size and I felt like that was perfect. I almost went with the 6 inch and I'm glad I didn't. I also recommend getting the garlic rub. So tasty! read more

Extremely disappointed. Just went today around noon, there was only 3 people working on a Friday at lunch time. We wait in line for 10 minutes with about 10 other people. When the employees told us they just got a 40 pizza order online they needed to do. No you need to take care of the customer that are in your restaurant first. I had a wonderful experience at MOD. When you walk in, everyone yells "Hello", that was a great start to our lunch. We looked lost so an employee greeted us and told us to start at the board and decide on our pizza or salad. Then you get to choose all the toppings you want for one price. Great selections of sauces, meats and veggies. The pizzas were done very quickly and were really good. Mine had chicken, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, olives and pineapple. I'd go back again! Super friendly fun atmosphere, great pizza and great service by friendly employees. On your way out, they all yell "Thank you". They got the customer service thing down!! read more

Really really delicious. It's so nice that they have dairy free options AND I can trust I will get my order so I'm not accidentally eating real cheese and getting sick. The pizza is always quickly prepared and there are so many options you could go for a long time without eating the same kind of pizza twice. It's build your own, so you can tell them exactly what you do and don't want. I tried the seasonal pizza today and it was delicious. A really quality recommendation. This is the only place we get pizza in town. The 11" size is perfect for each of us with a couple slices leftover for the next day. As a dairy allergic, I love that I can get a whole pizza to myself with dairy free cheese. Being able to customize our pizzas is the best thing about Mod Pizza. We don't like the same toppings or even the same type of crust. We always pick up our pizzas and they're always just what we ordered and still hot. MOD PIZZA - MOORESVILLE ENJOYS HASSLING SENIORS! Tonight I took my wife to MOD Pizza to celebrate my departed Mother-In-Law's birthday. My Mother-In-Law loved pizza and a cold beer. So we remember her in that way. Up until tonight, we have loved going to MOD. That abruptly changed tonight when the "manager" decided it would be fun to harass a couple of senior citizens. We have eaten at MOD Pizza dozens of times since they opened in Mooresville. We always order a pizza, a beer for me and a wine for my wife. We never had a problem, until tonight. This evening when we went to check out, the "manager"asked us for proof that we were 21. At first, I thought that he was kidding. (We are nearing 70!) He then told me that it was company policy to ask everyone for proof. I asked when did that start. He said that "it has always been company policy". I replied that "we have been to this store dozens of times and never been asked for ID". His smirk was now turning into a laugh. So we left! I have never been treated this way and never want to be treated this disrespectfully again! Two actions on my part: First, we will never, ever, go to a MOD Pizza establishment again! Second, we will tell every senior that we know how we were treated at this store and ask them to never go to MOD Pizza, again. This is no way to treat people. We simply drove to another pizza place and enjoyed a wonderful evening. So this "manager" wanted to screw with us, I hope that he acquires some common sense before the store closes due to lack of business! read more

I came here last week during lunch and the food and service was great. Tonight I came to get food for myself and a friend and they are running around like cats. There are literally 5 people working but the line is ridiculous because everyone and I do mean everyone is working online orders. They cannot figure out how to divide and two work inside customers and two work online and one the oven. To top it off the amount of back and forth talking while people are waiting is awful. Lastly as we are all in line we are told just a few minutes while they complete the online orders. The value nor the pizza make up for awful customer service. read more
