First time ever at a Culver's. Pretty good experience. The place was spotlessly clean, including the bathrooms. Most everyone was pleasant, except for one extremely grumpy cashier (but he must have just had a bad day). The food was great. We all had the Value Baskets. The fries were fantastic, hot and super crispy. Both the Buffalo and the Original chicken tenders were tasty and crispy, but the Buffalo just had a faint spice to it, not really Buffalo-ey at all. I had the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and yes, that was wonderfully spicy. I was so happy with that. My son and I swapped bites so I tried his ButterBurger with Cheese. So tender and tasty. Definitely going to order that next time. We forgot about the concretes and cheese curds, adding that to our "want to try list." Both kids had milkshakes to drink, which they loved. My son got me a chocolate soft serve waffle cone. It was HUGE! The ice cream and cone were great and such a treat. Eddie Z here again. Came in for 2 cod sandwiches ,one with steamed broccoli and 1 with French fries.mine was terrible and undercooked and too small. As was the tiny order of French fries.all this junk for $21.00. My steamed broccoli was way better than my fish sandwich so I would suggest you getting that off the menu and sticking to burgers which by the way,I love your butter burgers. read more

On a trip from OH to SC, we stopped for a quick lunch in Mooresville, and decided on Culver's because my wife had never eaten there. I had once, years ago at a Culvers in OH. I had the Culver's Deluxe burger, with Cole slaw, and my wife had the Chicken Cashew salad. The burger was really good, but honestly, my wife's salad looked even better. I've only had takeout so keep that in mind. I've never had Culver's and saw an episode of Last Meal on internet with Terry Crews who said this is a "Top 3 Fast Food Burger." I get it. Butterburger Deluxe with Onion Rings and a Turtle Concrete. The Turtle is not a menu item but we figured it out. Burger was awesome! First off they put the cheese under the patty which just makes sense! They also wrap it upside down. This is the way. If you know you know. No one does these little things. Thick pickles and onion which seemed like they were freshly chopped. Onion rings came with dipping sauce and were very nice. Curds were like the ones at Zaxbys just better. Price point for my family of 4 was very reasonable. This will be our new stop for burgers and frozen custard. read more

Excited to try here in Mooresville; had great food at Culver's in FL. Ordered inside, wait okay - not expecting fast food service.. partial order filled. Oily grease burger and fish sandwich. Had to get up for extra napkins to try to soak oil out of the food; got up and ordered other items to try from menu. I had 4 different meals; fish, beef, onion rings, fries. Plus the cheese things. Salads, etc. spent nearly $100 trying to find the "goodness ". Never leave reviews, but this was so poor I feel guilty not to warn folks. They don't cook the food until it's ordered. The customer service is always the same... friendly and polite. I always go to the drive thru. Visited more than a dozen times. I love the mushroom Swiss burger so much that until yesterday it was the only food item I had ever ordered. I was in a weird mood. Nd saw that they had a newer item-- chili. The better half was kind enough to stop through the drive thru to pick up the fam some grub. She had done trouble with the speaker at the drive thru but our order was correct. Short story--the chili is pretty good, exceeding expectations. Will definitely order again ( in the winter). I went there 7x in the past 3 months,, ordering the cheese butterburger basket 4x and received cold burgers 3 of those times. I would order this for my 92 year old burger loving mom and she now never wants another burger from Culver's. We have not had this problem with the chicken tenders value basket. Love a Culver's burger. Recently went with my family for lunch. $38 for 3 of us which is reasonable in today economy. When I asked for a bbq sauce I was charged .36 cents. I had to re enter my card and buy a bbq sauce for .36 cents. I can take a gallon of ketchup for free if I wanted but if I want bbq sauce I have to pay? Most often I stop in after leaving Costco for the custard of the day. They always have unique and attractive flavors and the custard is very creamy. Unfortunately because of the pandemic the dining room has been closed, and the drive-through line is usually pretty lengthy. But it generally moves fast and the staff is always friendly. Hopefully soon you'll be able to order inside again, which would cut down on wait times. I did learn after ordering a butterburger and opening the bag to see that it didn't have any condiments on it - that you have to ask them to add ketchup, mayo, mustard on your burger because those condiments don't seem to be standard. At least they weren't on the burger that I received; but since the dining room was closed, a simple call to the restaurant fixed that issue, and they brought out a new burger with no problem. read more

I think their burgers are fine with a bunch of fresh toppings but the real draw for me is the custard. Made fresh on site, it tastes awesome! Vanilla and chocolate are the standard flavors but they also have a flavor of the day that rotates. Blueberry cobbler, cookies and cream, rocky road, different each time. Creamy and quite solid and delicious. It's best if you get it fresh and I don't think it needs anything added to it. Today's visit was quick and efficient. With Covid, a bit awkward but food is good and staff goes beyond the norm in food and client safety. Had to go to Mooresville today to check on furniture and make changes on electronic for the new house. Since I had wanted to try the new Culvers, we decided to go there. I have only been to one Culvers before and that was at Carowinds and I did enjoy that one. Walked in and you order at the front counter and they bring it to you. You pick up your beverage yourself. Susan ordered one of the Chicken Sandwiches and I ordered the Mushroom/Swiss Burgers and both of us ordered French Fries. Picked up our drinks and there were no napkins, condiments etc available. Went to find our table and while they had an appropriate number marked off, the remaining vacant had been cleaned with Sanitizer but to the extent that they were flooded and you could not seat yourself or use the table without getting soaked. Found a roll of paper towels and dried off out booth to the point we could sit. Order finally came and when we asked about things like salt and pepper, condiments like ketchup, mustard and mayo and napkins, we had to get from the from counter. Lunch did show up. Mine was OK except the Fries were a bit undercooked. My wife's showed up and was missing the upper part of the bun. Had to go back and retrieve it. Food was good and I understand that Covid is disrupting everything so will review again. Right now, good effort on food safety but it does not translate into a friendly restaurant read more

Oh my, run don't walk to your local Culver's. All the hamburgers are smash burgers and served on the famous "Butter Buns". They have a slew of hamburger combinations. My fav is they serve crinkle fries. Go to Culver's and be transported to the taste of drive in hamburgers. Before you go - you must get one on the Concrete milkshakes. read more

I carried out, but while waiting, I notices that the dining room was clean and the time to get my food was fairly quick (it was 11 AM). I like that they open at 10:30 AM. This place is great for fast food and custard. I went after a dance for my daughter, and she was all about the cheese curds and sauce, and the CUSTARD of course! They usually have k think vanilla, chocolate and a special flavor of the day. The staff was very sweet and friendly, definitely a great place to take kids and the family. read more

I've been to a couple of Culver's locations and I've never had a bad meal there! Their ice cream is probably the creamiest ice cream that I've ever had. And their burgers are always cooked just right! And the people are usually very friendly that work here. Oh, and their restaurants are always immaculately clean! Good burgers for a fast food joint. Love the buns, and smashed burger patties. Keep thinking I won't enjoy (because I prefer thick,juicy patties) but always end up enjoying. This spot is nothing special... although the drive thru is a plus and a good alternative to other fast food. I ordered a chicken sandwich and was very surprised it came with no sauce, not even mayo or anything. The chicken was crispy and juicy, but the whole sandwich was dry as there was no flavorful sauce. The fries were hot and fresh. I also ordered a custard, which was good, but I still prefer Dairy Queen's blizzards/ice cream. Someone at my table got their whole order wrong because of the confusing menu. They should make their menu clearer. read more

haven't Culvered in over a decade and didn't really miss it until I did. was driving around on a cool winter evening and saw the big blue sign on the left. mmm... butter burger :-) inside is pretty much the same as they've always been except for the plastics around the cashiers, the masks, the gloves, no buckets of condiments or napkins, and restricted seating... thank you very much during the CoViDiocy! got a basic double combo which adds fries and a beverage for $3.00 american. no upcharge to add mustard, ketchup, mayo, lettuce, pickles, and onion (if you add tomatoe for 20¢ and cheese for 60¢ it's a deluxe (not adding mushrooms even if they were free because, well, you know... mouth feel)) so I get my cup mostly full of root beer instead of foam and find an out of the way table and just like that my food comes out! yea! and I ask for a couple ketchups because there aren't any and then there are! yea again! and I take a bite and a sip and a picture and then tuck into the crinkle cut fries and back and forth and roundy round until I'm done with the mashest of burgers :-) prolly should've got curds, prolly should've got a malted, prolly gonna be back... read more

Pulled up to the drive thru this evening to try this place out for the first time and i have to say i was disappointed especially because the price was so high. I ordered; a cheeseburger with everything but tomato, lettuce, and onion, Cheese curds, a small vanilla shake and pretzel bites. Stopped in on my drive back to Richmond and literally have been waiting next to the drive-thru for a half hour and counting. It wasn't even busy.
