It is sometimes hard to compare "apples to apples" when rating a fast food type of restaurant because of the emergence of several restaurants that now specialize in hamburgers. This is one of those instances. Culver's menu offers many sandwich and dinner varieties, but their hamburgers is what I am focusing on in this review. Culver's is a franchise that began in Wisconsin in the 1980's. The burgers remind me a great deal of how the fountains in the back of drug stores used to serve them, pressed flat with a little char and fresh lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle slices between a butter toasted bun. When I was a kid, getting a real hamburger and milkshake was a super treat. Culver's delivers on that very concept at a very reasonable price. You can order your hamburger with one, two or three patties and it is served with all (or, none) of your favorite stuffings. Culver's is new to Jupiter, so the place is just mobbed with curious and/or faithful customers. I parked in an adjacent parking lot and walked over because there was no way I was going to deal with trying a back out of a space surrounding the actual restaurant with a steady stream of traffic entering. I placed my order to go which consisted of two, double pattie hamburgers with everything except onions and a large french fries. Total charge was $13.17. Now, even better news, the young lady that took my order smiled, thanked me, and handed me a numbered place card. Yes, my order was to-go, but she invited me to take a seat and someone would bring my order out in a few minutes. Because of the large crowd, it took about 10 or 15 minutes for another young fellow to bring me my order. He also thanked me. The burgers were excellent! Tasty, fresh tomato and lettuce and no onion. Perfect order completion, and I felt that my business was appreciated. These hamburgers are as tasty as say, In-N-Out or Five Guys, except Culver's burgers are pressed flat similar to Steak-n-Shake. The Five Guys Burgers feature hand cut Idaho fries, and Culver's has the crinkle-cut variety. Culver's fries are more crispy and far less greasy. We did not order a dessert, but Culver's is known to have very good frozen custards and ice-cream. If Culver's has any shortcomings they are unnoticeable. My only rub is that they serve Pepsi instead of Coca-Cola products. Aside from that, you will get relatively fast service and food pickup at a reasonable price. Also, know that the restaurant seems to have hired some exceptional young people to work for them. I think that they are on the level of the staff and crew of Chik-fil-a. You just can't disguise apathy, and I have eaten at some hamburger restaurants nearby staffed with people that exuded indifferent attitudes. I can recommend Culver's to anyone. For now, the crowds are something that you will have to accept, but you can't blame people to wanting something better. Great job Culver's and welcome! read more

I was looking forward to culvers opening, but ultimately was very disappointed. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and besides it being smaller than anticipated, it was extremely bland with almost no taste. I was very surprised. I will come back to try the different custards and it may become a fast food dessert place for me. However I was expecting and hoping for more. read more

This is a welcome addition to Jupiter. You can get a burger with different sides such as mashed potatoes. I did not particularly care for the gravy but that is just me, and I was glad to be eating something besides the usual french fries. The staff is young but professional and friendly. The decor is a bazillion times better than McDonalds or Boston Market - stone fireplace, television. Clean and new facility. I did not have to wait long for my food at all, on either occasion. I have repeatedly had bad service with my order being incorrect or over charged. The original staff is all gone and the new staff does not seem to care. I tried reaching out to the restaurant multiple times before blasting them publicly but they ignored me and never responded to my comments. Hopefully something can be done as the food used to be good and can be good again if they fix the issues. read more

Don't go yet! I went two different times today getting food for kids, each time I waited over 45 minutes. Food is ok, but it's still just a burger. Shakes are nothing special. Maybe service will get better over time. There are plenty of burger joints around, that don't take so long. This place is a bit of a schlep for me, but if I am in Jupiter, this is where I like to go for a fast-food meal that tastes fresh and delicious! I am a big fan of their chicken tenders that are REAL chicken, plump and juicy. Don't forget the dipping sauce, BBQ or honey mustard. I always get the value meal, which includes crinkle-cut fries and a drink. And the drinks are self-serve, which is great! The onion rings are wonderful too, and my husband loves the burgers. One of the best things: Dessert. Their frozen custard is excellent and you can mix in all sorts of yummy things. They also have a flavor of the day, which often is very interesting! My favorite is the chocolate volcano that has a little of everything in it. You can also get four pints of frozen custard to go for $9.99, which is a steal! The restaurant is always clean, and the employees are very friendly and helpful. My grandkids love it here, and the kids meals are a good deal. The only puzzlement to me are the cheese curds. Drive-through service has really slow down here over the past year. Manager does not pay attention to anything even at slow times of day service is slow. Inexperienced teenagers working here . I've gone twice since they opened. First time I went through the drive through and placed a $50 order that included two pints of custard. They brought the order out in multiple bags. Come to find out, they did not include the custard. Thus, I had to turn around and go in defeating the entire purpose of the drive thru. The burgers were good though. Second time, I went in and ordered a salad and chicken tenders, nothing else. It took 20 minutes and I watched 5 other people who ordered after me get their order and go. For my very first experience I would give Culver's a 4 out of 5. The food was absolutely delicious but the crew members working seemed to be annoyed with the manager who was being extremely rude to them right in front where all customers can see. The service here is great, every time! I'd say Culver's is a tier above typical fast food burger places. Their cheese curds are pretty much like tiny mozzarella stick balls but they taste amazing. Also, their frozen custard desserts taste so much better than normal ice cream. Their only downfall is their fries. Disappointed this time. The hamburgers were tasty but the French Fries were cold and gummy and I mean COLD THE staff was more interested in joking and taking to each other so we had to wait to place an order regardless of the fact hat we were the only ones in line. Possibly the worst burger I've ever had in my life. Thin patties burnt to a crisp. Horrible tasting cheese. Barely cooked bacon. Did I mention burnt? Horror show! Took over 30 minutes to receive our food. Burger was cold and was a wannabe knock off of a five guys burger. Not good. Fries were previously frozen krinkle cut and greasy, really? You can't cut some fresh potatoes and serve real fries? Shake was a Wendy's frosty knock off and tasted about the same. Don't understand the attraction. Tried it three times now. The order has never been filled correctly. Kid staff is friendly but not well trained.
