There was a line on a warm Friday evening, which is always a good sign that something delicious is coming. The place is cute and on the smaller side, but the line moved fairly quickly. We tried the butter pecan ice cream in a sugar cone, and it was excellent. We also took home a pint of French vanilla and a smaller size of rum raisin, both of which were great choices. I have come here many times previously since I've been a child. I went here yesterday while visiting on spring break. This icecream is made in house and is so delicious. It's quality icecream. It always seems to be busy whenever I go usually after dinner. It's a small shop. There's one table inside and two outside with a bench. There's not enough seating so a lot of people get it to go. There was one person working and we were standing in a line with no workers out front. There was a sign that said she was in the restroom so I'm assuming that's where she was even though she never took down the sign. She did seem stressed out. Understandably. I noticed they had pistachio icecream which is one of the things I'm allergic too. I asked her if she could make sure there was no cross contamination. She said they use the same scooper in all the ice cream so if you have allergies be aware of this. She said for allergies they will open up a new icecream tub so she did that for me but seemed irritated she had to do that. I felt bad. I didn't want to inconvenience her. I do understand she was stressed and shouldn't be the only one working. Overall, it's local and delicious icecream. You can't go wrong! read more

4-7-23 Had a nice day trip to Jupiter and before heading back home I Yelped for ice cream and it lead me here. Yelp strikes again a hidden gem in the most beautiful shopping center. Once I get inside my friend gets a scoop of fresh homemade peach ice cream in a cone. Myself as I know sometimes I can't finish I get a cup with two scoops not that I can finish but rather too many flavors to decide. I also get the peach and banana. Both freshly made and believe me a nice generous portion so I get a lid to take this home. Ice cream is my weakness and this place delivers. Pricing was reasonable as well. After touring the Jupiter Lighthouse and eating lunch at a nearby diner, my husband and I decided to walk the 3/10 of a mile from the diner to Palm beach Ice Cream. It was worth the walk. The shop is cute and kitschy with many ice cream flavors to choose. I tried a small cup of Mint Chocolate Chip. My husband ordered the Maple Walnut in a waffle cone. We both enjoyed our cool treat on a very warm day. The young lady who took our order was very helpful and even offered us a few samples. It is a little expensive but the service and quality of the ice cream is excellent. read more

You get to choose two flavors mine were Pistachio and their awesome Coconut Tortoni, with hot fudge, whipped cream and almonds. The portion was so generous I brought half home. My son chose Heath and Birthhday Cake with hot fudge, whipped cream and peanuts. He was able to finish his and said it was great. The shop is small, but, very charming. A classic! Great location and tons of choices. Their ice cream has huge chunks, which is hard to come by! Two small complaints: 1. They should let adults purchase a kids size because the bigger portion is too much (but I have no self control so I eat it all...) 2. They don't have brownies. Palm Beach Ice Cream has been THE steady, local ice cream store in Jupiter/Tequesta for decades. Though chains come and go in various locales, Palm Beach Ice Cream has stood the test of time. The inside of the shop reflects this: plaques and awards reflect the history of the store. It feels very homey here, with antiques on the wall, jars collecting donations for the local animal rescue, and a very well-used bulletin board. I was immediately drawn in by the attendant, who made it easy to strike up a conversation about her new dog and my baby. LOVE this. I've been to this store multiple times since I was a teenager, but I would return just for this- that camaraderie. I had called in earlier to double check the store closing time; I was surprised they stay open so late, since this strip mall is mostly dead by early evening. I was so pleased to find a line forming, as elderly couples, twentysomethings, and a family with kids all came in to buy ice cream. As for the ice cream, my husband and I were not so thrilled. The ice cream labels were small and difficult to see when looking at the metal buckets of ice cream. Puddles of liquid/water had formed on the top of some of the ice cream in buckets, which was not appealing. My husband's Rum Raisin was so sticky that he struggled to remove the ice cream from his cup, winding it around and around his spoon until he could pull it off. My coconut was nothing amazing. Perhaps this was an off day for these flavors and consistencies, or maybe I've just been spoiled by Elements' Frozen Yogurt in Juno! Of course we both ate our entire portion. I have been in the store twice since December 10. Each time I asked for a double chocolate soda, which is on the menu, and both times they had no soda to make it. Do I have to bring in my own can of soda? The people behind the counter could be apologetic because of their lack of keeping up with the inventory. It doesn't if you are not the one responsible. Our friends took us down to this local ice cream parlor after a great dinner, and I can definitely say this was the perfect treat to end a great weekend and a great meal. The place is small yet very quaint, and boasts some wonderful flavors of ice cream. I just had to get a waffle cone with 2 separate flavors, which is always a question if they will blend together or not. I tried the seasonal pumpkin flavor, but, while it was wonderful, I'm not sure that I, personally, could jump on board with a full servicing of it as the flavor was a lot for me. I ended up with a scoop of cinnamon topped with a scoop if their Costa Rican Coffee. It was like a cold cinnamon latte with some of the best espresso flavor. This is definitely getting bookmarked in my personal collection on Yelp, as I will need to make a special visit here every time i am in Jupiter until I have tried all of the flavors! read more
