It's gone thru an extruder. It's a paste not whole chicken like you'd see striped off the bones. It's a paste. Seriously W.T.F. (Welcome to Fruita). So is it really chicken? Is the fish really fish? Tonight I went in and talked to the lady at the counter. I really did not want to write a review. I wanted to tell them in person instead. But her suggestion was to let them know when I order to warm it up more. How about this... The Cooks know they're cold. They made the meat probably an hour ago. Make the Burgers so at least the cheese melts for God's sake. Come on man. This ain't rocket science. The Cook's know they're cold the customer knows they're cold. I don't even care if they put it in the microwave for 30 seconds. I drive by Burger King, Taco Bell, Del Taco, Wienerschnitzel, Sonic and numerous other places to come here because I like the flavor of the burger. If you see the sales of these Burgers go down then I would say I've given you the reason why. Ignore it at your own risk. People do not like cold food!

The location is excellent in a shopping mall on the south side of I70. The interior decor is up to date and welcoming, but still has the fun signs Rib City's are known for. We were greeted and seated promptly by the server. The server was personable and welcoming as she took our drink orders and explained the lunch specials. There are many specials on the menu, but there are also specials on the table sign and the chalkboard sign as you enter. We always get the fried okra, and it was cooked perfectly as always. They are also serving fried pickles now. We each ordered the lunch special of a Pulled Pork Skyscrapers with 2 sides for $12.99. I got the green beans and fries, and my husband got the mac and cheese and baked beans. The pulled pork was delicious as always mixed with the NC vinegar based sauce and a side of coleslaw that goes on the sandwich. All sides were also good. Service was top notch the entire time. Special notes: whatever the seasonal cheesecake is GET IT! It is homemade and amazing. We got a slice to go, and it was enormous! The flavor this time was blueberry. So, so delicious! They also have a happy hour special on drinks and 1/2 off apps from 2-6 on weekdays. We will be back to this location frequently!
