Fast service, delicious food made with such fresh products. The fries are incredibly crispy and the custard ¡oh! I can't wait to repeat!!!

We heard through the grapevine that there was this food truck out in Gardner that did some mean…read moreJapanese food and thought, "Gardner? Japanese? Food truck?" Hmmm....sounds interesting! Welp, sure enough, the rumors are TRUE! Right off the main strip in town is a decent-sized lot that this truck has taken residence on, replete with tables and seating, about 10 parking places, and trash receptacles. We stopped in on an unseasonably warm, late December evening, and tried a few different types of dishes: steak hibachi, shrimp lo mein, sushi, chicken hibachi, and lots of yum yum sauce! I was (mostly) responsible for the sushi roll. Normally, I'm a 2, maybe 3 roll per sitting kinda guy. For whatever reason, on this evening, I decided to start with one...and thank goodness I did, as the roll was enormous! Like, the volume of at LEAST two rolls at any other place! Delicious, well-made, and extremely filling! In my ratings, I'd give the lo mein second place - it was fantastic, and included lots and lots of shrimp, which thrilled my son! He woofed it down, fast! The ladies in our party each got hibachi, and both loved it! The Yum yum sauce came in handy for their meat, veggies and rice. As we ate under the stars, we saw about a dozen folks swing in for take out, meaning we were definitely behind the eight ball in finding this gem out on the prairie! The gentleman running the window was kind and helpful with our order, and they had our food prepared in about 20 minutes! Not bad, considering the busy Friday night they were having! Great place to grab a fast meal. For the price & amount of food is amazing. The snow roll was huge…read moreweight almost a pound.

Great simple place if you ever in Gardner for drinks and bar food…read more Fried pickles were really good, not overbreaded and served piping hot. I've had mushy ones and these were not it. Nachos were average and I'm afraid to ask if the cheese came out of a can or not...just setting expectations. Ambiance was quality sports bar with too many TVs. Service was really prompt. Good drink specials on Sunday.

A mess is all I can say. I've been here a few times and service is terrible every single time…read more Bartenders are slow and unfriendly. I'm guessing the changeover at management is a constant. I've also done curbside a few toned and again, what a mess. If I order online, it means I want to pick up my food be done. I paid online, tipped online but every time, someone comes out wanting me to sign for my order. I'm sorry, that's why I paid online. And of course the thing you sign has a place for a tip (I did that online). Meanwhile after I've signed, my to go order is still sitting inside and no longer warm. Today's order I parked, texted my name and parking spot #. A girl comes out says name on the order, I said I've already texted it. She then comes out, I have to sign, she goes in and brings out my order. I leave and make it about 1/2 way home when I get a call, she says they gave me the wrong order. Are you kidding? Easiest job on the planet, compare food and order before taking them out. I take it back and some guy now comes out, no I'm sorry for mixup-nothing. I'm done giving them my business.

Chips and queso were pretty good. I like that they lightly seasoned the chips. I was expecting the pork and chicken to have a big punch of flavor but it was really lacking. I liked the flour tortilla shells that were used but it would have been better if they had warmed the tortillas first. They do provide a generous serving of meat, but I would have liked more toppings on the tacos. Service was ok. They were able to move through the orders fairly quickly. If anyone is a germaphobe, I wouldn't recommend eating here. I saw he used the same gloves to grab your order card, stick it up near the window, prepare the chips and grab the tortillas. It wasn't that big of a deal but just a heads up if something like that were to bother you.

I got the Dr Pepper burger & an NA grapefruit IPA. The burger was very yummy, as were the fries that came with it. There was a casual sauce for the fries and I loved it. The beer was good, but not amazing. It wasn't made by Red Crow though, it was a can. I know Red Crow makes some top notch beers from visiting them previously, though. I just didn't want alcohol because I went in with a headache & it would have made it worse. Red Crow's ambiance was great, though. It's cute & quirky and very relaxed. Everyone in there seemed happy (staff included). I'll make my way back again in the fall if they have their chai stout back.
