Half way to Springfield a fuel light came in saying there was water in the fuel!! He called a dealership while on the road, they said stop driving it immediately and he drove to the dealership. He had got them to look at it the next morning. So that cost him a day. There WAS water in the fuel and a day later and $1800 worth of damage they had to fix on his truck. He used to spend $100-150/DAY in fuel here, do the math. Never again. We will never buy gas or fuel here ever again. QT is one block away and they will now have our business.

A loaf of Brioche bread was clearly marked at $5 on the display stand, but it rang up at $7 at checkout. When we questioned it, the clerk went back, took a photo of the display and explained that the sign was only meant to "draw attention" and was not actually the price for that bread. That explanation made little sense, especially since the bread on the display appeared to be the same product. My wife later called and spoke with the manager, Kelly, regarding what we viewed as false or misleading advertising. Unfortunately, the response was dismissive and unapologetic. Rather than acknowledging the confusion or offering to make it right, the pricing display was defended by claiming the marked price applied to bread on the other side of the stand. What concerns me most is how many customers likely never notice these discrepancies. We only caught it by chance, and I suspect many others simply pay the higher amount without realizing it. After being longtime loyal customers, this experience and the lack of accountability have caused us to reconsider shopping here. Leadership should be aware of how situations like this are handled because customer loyalty can disappear quickly when trust is lost.

I stepped inside to get some coffee, and was surprised because the place smells like they allow smoking. have no idea where that was coming from, but I kinda felt like I was in the nonsmoking part of a casino (that may not have smoke hanging in the air, but still reals of old cigarette smoke). This was the rest stop closest so we pulled over and I have to say I was pretty impressed. I walked in with our kiddo, and it was honestly one of the cleanest rest stops I've ever stopped in. It was so well maintained, well lit, etc. It felt very safe to stop here after dark, and the restrooms were some of the best I've seen on the road lately. We didn't eat here but I noticed there were some locals eating at an attached eatery inside, which made me feel like this must be a popular little spot to stop into. Overall, if you're on the road, you aren't going to find much better - this is a great little roadside stop.
