Among the fast food options, their custards are always a great, affordable option. I got the vanilla with hot salted caramel (which really did come hot!) and cookie dough (which they gave me a generous amount), and it was delicious. If you've never had custard, it definitely runs on the creamier side compared to regular ice cream because it contains egg yolks. Really sweet and delicious pairing on top of a plain vanilla. I'm most impressed that this custard (see picture) was this solid after a 35 min drive home! The gentleman taking my order was super patient and helpful in helping me decide what I wanted. Also, the current flavor of the day is turtle and honestly would've considered that too if I could eat 2 scoops! Culver's has always been a 5-star dining experience for us. This one was not. We have tried them in a couple locations in our Colorado home region. and other states. We ordered our meal and sat down with the numbered table-tent. and waited and waited and waited. I finally walked to the counter and looked at the young woman who was chatting noisily to several young customers her age. She asked "Is this yours? We couldn't figured out whose it was". No concern that she had never coming looking for us or sent anyone else to do that. We carried it back to our table to discover that the fries and fish were barely warm. I asked for a re-do which she did. The re-do was perfect. That is the ONLY reason this Culver's got a 3--otherwise it would have been a 1. Hope corporate sees this review and tunes up this location. read more

The employees were nice and the restaurant was clean. This location seemed to provide smaller portions than other Culver's we frequent. The mashed potatoes and ice cream were .5-1 inch from the top of the container. The brocolli was about .5 inches from the top. We were told they were out of a third cup of brocolli in the middle of the day on a Sunday. Everything tasted fine, but the pot roast sandwiches were barely covering the bun, whereas most locations it's about an inch thick and falling out. Ive been a Culver's fan since my first visit in Wisconsin. I"ve been to Culver's in Arizona, South Carolina, and was so excited when this Culvers opened in Eastlake. I waited a few weeks to visit so they could get past the flood of people and iron out the new operation process. The pecan Carmel Sundae tasted amazing. The burger was delicious. The three stars is because, I ordered two single butter burgers and two,sundaes. Sat in the parking area. And they brought out the sundaes right away. It was 83 degrees. I put on my AC and waited 10 minutes for the burgers. The sundae was getting very soft, and I was hoping my 8: minute ride home wouldn't melt the sundae much further. I asked the very pleasant young lady opening brought my burger if it was customary to get the ice cream out so,soon before the hot food. She smiled and said, yes sometimes. I got home and the sundaes were a bit soupy around the top. I put them in the freezer to refreeze, but it changed the consistency. The flavors were still spot on. Please work on your process of delivery to time it better. Bring both hot and cold together ! I will be back and will try it again to see if they firm up this process so I don't get soupy sundaes. Horrible service. Horrible visit. I went through the drive-through, which had nobody in front of me. The gentleman taking my order, asked me my name three times though I couldn't understand what he was asking me. I didn't place my order which he messed up on the screen and I could see I corrected. My order went and paid. I was told to pull up and wait. Which I did for 25 minutes as I watch them bring food to other vehicles that were there after me when I finally called I was told oh I'm so sorry. Happy to see more Culver's around Cleveland! I love their pretzel bites they are warm soft and lightly salted to perfection. They come with a light cheese sauce to dip them in. I tried the fish sandwich and it had cheese and a slaw which was tasty. They were busy but I did receive my order in a timely fashion. Nice place to stop by for lunch. read more

First impressions are very positive. Tried this place for the first time today. I was impressed with a clean and OPEN dining room. The cashier was particularly friendly and patient with me. As i explained I had never been in before and was not sure what to order. We finally decided on Bacon Deluxe Butterburger and Crispy Chicken Sandwich with Onion Rings and Fries respectively. We also got vanilla frozen custard with peanut butter. All told the meal was $26.77 which was admitted on the high end of what I might expect to spend. That said the food was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the Bacon Deluxe Butterburger and Onion Rings. I would definitely suggest a visit here. read more

Well well well... I personally love Culver's. The food is great, but the service not so great. I don't like leaving 1 stars... but this is the 2nd time it has happened. I ordered 2 sides of cheese curds, pulled up and I waited 10 MINUTES. I wouldn't be writing this if it were a 1 time thing, but this has happed twice with the first time being 15 minutes while waiting for 3 ice creams. I've been to Culver's locations all over the South and MidWest, Minnesota , Wisconsin , Michigan , Ohio , Kentucky , Tennessee , Texas, Pennsylvania and this Eastlake location is THE WORST by far. The Food quality here is below subpar. My burger was inedible even the lemonade was undrinkable just plain disgusting. I'd drive to Macedonia before I go here again. Nice to see Culver's finally on the east side. Here's a lesson for the uninitiated.... We tried it today and were pleasantly surprised. A friend in Avon Lake has spoken highly of Culver's since it opened on the west side several years ago. I was slightly disappointed in their online menu, which we prepared our order from. The menu shows great pictures of the ice cream selections and most of their food. We ordered a Butterburger deluxe, an order of onion rings and a Butteburger with cheese and onion kid's meal. We waited less than 5 minutes and our order came out. The "park and wait" area is a bit cramped while waiting for your order. Waiting vehicles are parked on both sides of the drive. Noshing on the onion rings enroute, they were hot and delicious. Not greasy and a tasty batter. Upon arriving at home I discovered my burger had only one patty and one slice of cheese. Since the menu I looked at on my phone had several pictures of the "Butterburger" with two patties and two slices of cheese I was naturally perplexed. I contacted the restaurant by phone and spoke with a very pleasant manager named Adam. He explained that there are actually three choices when ordering. Similar to Wendy's, there is a single, double or triple Butterburger. Unfortunately this information is not on the menu I was using. Adam stated he would let the owner know so this oversight could be corrected. After eating, I checked our receipt and found that we were in fact charged for a "DLX DBL" (Deluxe Double). Lesson here is: If it's a new restaurant that you have not previously visited, go inside and read the FULL menu. Also, eat your meal inside the restaurant. This will provide you the opportunity to catch any errors in your order before you satisfy your appetite! I realize this place is new and they have a learning curve so we will be expecting improvements on our next visit. All in all, great food And fast service. We'll be back. read more

We were so excited that they were opening a Culvers near us. We left Florida right before we could try it. For the most part, we all had the Culvers deluxe, and two of my boys got the bacon deluxe. The burgers were very tasty. It had a nice crispy edge. I LOVE SMASH BURGERS! The only thing I would have to say is that I wish my burger had a bit more sauce. First impressions are always the most important to any business. So this was my first time visiting the new Eastlake location. I ordered takeout online. This required me to go inside to get my order, I think drive thru would have been better in my opinion. It looks nice inside but the door glass was filthy with greasy hand prints. It wasn't just a few fingerprints this was I haven't been cleaned all week grit. I'm not a clean freak but this was gross. Onto the food, I ordered a butter burger and onion rings, and added a vanilla malt. The burger smelled like a fish sandwich. Onion rings and malt tasted good. I couldn't eat the burger. The food is great, the prices are high, the service is very poor. I have ordered from them at least four times which were drive through or carry out. I have found that you need to check your order before you leave. One time I only got half of a bun. another time, my food was cold, which shouldn't be because everything is cooked fresh, at least that is what they say. When I picked up the order in the store, I noticed the employees were spending too much time gabbing with each other, rather than taking orders, and seeing if the orders were ready. One day I go, and things are great and I'm leaving a good review, and the next day I'm having to drive back two different times because they somehow make the same mistake twice. And the third time, even after the manager makes the food for us, and there's four patties on one double burger? And it all started because we asked for a shake to be a large instead of a small, and this was when we first pulled up to the window, before even paying them. FYI, today is the 27th of June,and we were there a little after 5 pm. The second we asked for a large shake, we got nothing but attitude from the employees, and it's honestly sad because I love their food and wanted to be able to eat there. Good luck getting in touch with corporate, as it's a franchise and is privately owned, but surely the private owners would be checking on the reviews. I've come to this Culver's many times. Every time I've come the food has always been delicious (when they give it to me right). Almost always our food takes an incredibly long time to come out. I've had multiple experiences at this Culver's where the staff has been disrespectful and full of excuses. For example, today I went to get Culver's after a family event. Our food came out pretty quick, but they forgot to give us our drinks as we ordered online. After that we decided to get sundaes as a dessert. It took them 25+ minutes to make 2 two-scoop sundaes. We went up to ask about the sundaes and the employees excuse was that they were understaffed and that she was working multiple stations. She proceeded to make our sundaes and they came out looking like less than one scoop even though she insisted on them being two scoops. Our ice cream was also very melted and had very little flavors. I have been to the original Culver's and have met the owner of the first Culver's. The service in Wisconsin is much more efficient than here. Would not recommend, one star. read more
