I wish this company wasn't bought by a soul-sucking private equity company. Food used to be the best fast food. Last few times we have ordered it, since they changed the fry recipe from normal to now soggy, flavorless fries (i think pea starch); everyone in my family got bad stomach pains. Like whole body cramping. We can't eat here anymore. I am sure it is now dosed in chemicals. Used to be delicious and didn't feel bad about serving it to kids; now it's definitely a huge skip for us. Pre flight sammich, chicken cold, fries pulled early (raw cold and not crunchy) went inside, fries were then remade to crunchy perfection. Sandwich was cold and cheese not even melted a little bit, chicken cold as well. Felt like chicken was sitting around before passed off to me. If this was put together "fresh " then someone needs to better at all of the protocols that are put in place to make sure people who are trying to get food in them so they dont die, and choose your business to fuel their body. Boyfriend & I went on quick trip up to the area to see a family member. I haven't had Chick-Fil-A before so thought I would check them out. We went inside and they were packed with people however we made it through the line to order really quickly. I ordered the regular chicken sandwich with side of waffle fries and lemonade. The chicken was tasty, juicy & tender. The waffle fries were really good with their special sauce that is similar to honey mustard. I wouldn't mind eating this in the future but not something I would seek out often. read more

After seeing all these recent negative reviews, I feel obliged to share my experiences. I don't really eat out a lot anymore for a few different reasons, but Chick-fil-a is a rarity in that I sometimes still crave it! (Even with a meat aversion) Unless I'm out, I go to this location every single time as it is closest to where I live. The worst that's happened to me is that they sometimes forget the condiments. I have never gotten an incorrect order from here, EVER. That's incredible to me, I can't say that about anywhere else I go. Nothing missing, nothing wrong. I attributed it to ordering with the app pre-pandemic, but that is clearly not it after seeing how some businesses handle their online orders now. It is still true today though for Chick-fil-a. That is impressive, and helps my anxiety immensely ordering from here. (The employees' reliable friendly disposition also helps me with this.) The food itself is always warm and/or hot & fresh for me, depends on the time you go, but it's always so busy how could the food not be fresh. Even the lettuce & tomato though. Melty cheese on the sandwiches, and the melty cheese in the macaroni pings. Of course, there ar exceptions to everything, they are still human. But I feel like even if I ever did get a dry sandwich, or burnt nuggets, I wouldn't even mention it because it's literally such a fluke here. (I mean for me, I am not trying to discredit other reviewers' experiences, I know how frustrating it can be to not get something you're paying for, no matter the price). But I can not even remember the last time something didn't taste as it always does, from this Chick-fil-a. I have also, twice that I can specifically remember, after my Chick-fil-a hiatuses, the manager sent me free food to thank me for coming back. I've also gotten other random offers from this specific location, free sandwiches or breakfast items, for different reasons. I love that. As for the employees, I have never had an issue at any Chick-fil-a about how the employees treated me. They are always above and beyond courteous, and in seemingly good moods, even with each other. I have never had to 'complain' though, so I don't know how that might go. My advice is to download the app and order off that. You can remove any topping, add extra anything to any sandwich, order as many condiments as you want, choose from light, extra, or no ice for your drink, and even have fields for write in requests for every separate item in your order, and also your overall order. (I have found putting the condiments there has fixed the forgotten condiments issue.) You just submit your order at any time during the day, and when you arrive at the drive-thru speakerbox, say, "mobile order for xxxx" and that's when they charge your card & start making it. I went to this location today and spent $42.36 just for some terrible food and awful service. One thing I ordered was the grilled chicken club. I wanted to substitute the multi grain bun with a white bun and no tomatoes. The food was incorrect so I went inside. The boy went to remake the sandwich correctly. This took almost 10 minutes. When he brought it back to me it was incorrect again, it didn't have the bacon that comes with the sandwich. This girl goes to remake it and she brings it to me and it was incorrect again. There were about 3-4 tomatoes on the sandwich which was marked no tomatoes. At this point i wanted a refund that they said I needed the original receipt and my credit card to do. I didn't bring anything in the store with me because I didn't anticipate this to be a hassle. So I just said whatever it can be remade but please make it correctly because it's almost 1:30 now which means this whole thing has almost taken 30 minutes. As I'm waiting I go back to the car and get my phone and credit card because I really couldn't wait any longer. When I got back into the store the girl was bringing me the sandwich. I checked it out and it was wrong again. It had Colby jack cheese instead of pepper jack. I told the girl just get me a piece of pepper jack cheese and l would leave. She brought me back a slice of cheese that literally had grill marks on it and looks greasy, not fresh at all. When I got back in my car my fries were cold and super salt, not even edible due to the salt. I have never been more disappointed with chick fil a. I called corporate and they sent me a free ice cream for my troubles. I definitely do not recommend this location anymore. I remember one time I was in line and I was in the front of the line and this lady behind me beeped her horn and kept beeping it until eventually I got out the car because I still didn't have my food, no employees told me to move, and no one came out to tell her to stop beeping in a drive through . Moral of the story I got out the car and told her stop beeping at me and she proceeded to yell and cuss and the workers came out and was only talking to me . Telling me to go or they would call the police, I felt very discriminated against and I haven't been back since. Which was about 7 months ago . I decided to finally go yesterday because my siblings wanted something to eat, I sat in the line for about 15 minutes and about 10 when they finally asked me to pull up because my food was still being made witch wasn't a lot of food however I had to go back in because they finally brought my food out and it was still wrong. The parking lot situation for this location is terrible. The line is always wrapped around the building twice so I never bother. By some miracle there is just a few cars in line today and I figure now is a good opportunity. The two cars in front of me place their order with the two employees standing outside. As soon as it is my turn they both go inside. So I pull up to the regular order point. Waited for about five minutes. Not a peep. Finally someone asks if I have had my order taken. I said,"not yet". Then silence for several more minutes. Forget it, I decided I am not bothering. So I pull through and still have to wait in line for everyone ahead of me to get their food because of the design of the drive thru and the curbs they wrap around it. This was the first time I have ever tried a Chick-Fil-A and this won't be my last. This was the first meal of our road trip to Minnesota. I told my friend we are eating at places that we do not have in Western New York. One of the places was Chick-Fil-A. i bring out my trusty yelp App to see where is the nearest place for a Chick-Fil-A.. Alas, it brought me to this location. This location was at the corner of two streets and its visible from the street. You didn't need to drive around to find this place, its just right at the corner. Nicely placed. My first impressions of the place when pulling up and walking is that its new and very nice and very clean. Since this was our first stop of our trip. I needed to use the bathroom. To my surprised it was very very clean. It was my first time there and wasn't sure what to order. So i told them, i"m from Hawaii and its my first time ever to a Chick-Fil-A. I asked her whats the top three selling items and she suggested a chicken sandwich since it was my first time. So i went with the spicy chicken sandwich. They also compd my meal because it was my first time there. Everything about my meal was TOP notch. The fries was fresh and it looked like it was cut from a whole potato and was cross cut. Its the first time I had that type of fries at a fast food joint. Next was my chicken sandwich it was DELISH!! I wish it was a little bit spicier but I guess they have to cater to the taste buds of americans but I wish it was more spicy. I love this Chick-fil-A! I always have wonderful experiences when I am here. My most recent one was after flying all day and having not ate since the morning and it was 9:30pm I ended up going inside to order. I was very tired and cranky and after I ordered I asked if I could add a cookie to the order because I was starving and had a long day. He said the cookie was on him and did not charge me for it. It's these small acts of kindness that set Chick-fil-A apart from other restaurants. It turned my night around. I also was happy that even though it was 9:30pm and they closed at 10:00pm that the food was warm (as was the cookie) and delicious. I'm the biggest supporter of ChickFil-A... I always boast about what an incredible hiring process they must have as their service and quality is miles ahead of any other chain period. A trip to the Cleveland Ohio area has totally smashed that idea totally... Two different locations in two days with two different operators... . At least 7-8 having a good time with each other while I waited patiently. One of them looked at me several times and then walked over like she had the rest of her shift to wait on me like she was doing me a favor. As soon as I ordered the food was across the counter in about 30 seconds maximum. Now I know why. The fries were well over cooked and old! Crunchy and disgusting! First Time this has ever happened to me and I started eating Chick-Fil-A back in 1984 in Northeast Buckhead. Suburb of Atlanta Georgia. The bun was warm. The spicy chicken filet was borderline cold!! FIRST TIME EVER!!! To say that I must be spoiled at the Boardman Ohio and the Niles Ohio location would be an understatement!! This location today doesn't even come close two Boardman or Niles. The Euclid Avenue Willoughby Ohio Store yesterday was equally pathetic. Two days and two crappy meals. I will never drive out of my way in the Cleveland Ohio area to find a Chick-Fil-A unit ever again. I'm pretty certain the corporate headquarters would not approve of this. The only complaint I ever have about this location is the parking lot. It is tiny and poorly set up and dangerous. There have been multiple times that I have seen people near run over or backed Into. There are just too meny people trying to squeeze into too small a space, really no matter what time of day it is. The food is always good and always consistent. The store inside and out is always clean. About half of the time there is a wait for grilled chicken. I do which the employees would be genuinely polite instead of pretnsiously polite. read more

Always has great food..... people that work there are what varies. I've never ever had a bad experience at a Chick fil A, except for this one. Nobody is very personable except 2 people who know me as a regular. Also, I'm not too sure what their goal was for this new drive thru plan, but it's not working. The drive thru used to be much quicker than it is now and every single time I come here- it's beyond backed up. The workers begin taking orders at the drive thru entrance and have patrons wait through the entire drive thru line to receive their food at the window. I'm not quite sure what the purpose of putting their employees outside was, but it doesn't work any better than when we ordered thru the speaker. I'm going to preface this review by saying I'm somewhat biased against chick-fil-a due to their practices with homosexual employees and their stance on that in general. I had never been to one as there aren't any near me, but gave this a try during a work trip when asked to by my peers. Sold a bit of my soul, I'd say. It was fast food, plain and simple. I was advised since I had not been to try their chicken nuggets, so I did as a meal. I tried the polynesian sauce, ranch and chick-fil-a sauce. The polynesian was the best of the three, but didn't really change the fact that I was eating greasy chicken that didn't particularly impress me. The waffle fries were alright, but again, nothing earth shattering. The infamous chick-fil-a sauce honestly reminded me of Honey Mustard, though I didnt try their packets of honey mustard to compare. At this location, the parking lot is also kind of a pain. Service was quick and the outdoor seating option was nice, but in the end, it's just fast food. read more

I can't sing enough praises about this location. I work out of Miami for a pretty large insurance company, and I'm flown into Ohio ever so often for training. The service at this Chik-Fil-A is so prestigious, it's literally a race from the training facility to the restaurant every day during lunch for most of the employees I work with. From the Employee of the Month at the register (Bryan), to the Employee of the Year (Barb) who walks around filling drinks and clearing trays, this place has better service than some of the higher end restaurants I've been to.
