The Pierogi Palace serves pierogies (e.g., potato, vegetable, meat, seafood, and dessert) and other Polish foods such as stuffed cabbage and kielbasa. Vegan and gluten-free options are available. I was a customer of this business when they had a tent at Pittsburgh's Veg Fest. They offered pierogies in flavors of potato vegan cheese, potato smart bacon, potato jalapeno, potato broccoli, sweet potato, and spicy black bean. I purchased three pierogies in different flavors for $10 total. The employees promptly and politely served me. Honestly, I feel very surprised by these high ratings on Yelp. I am of mostly Eastern European descent and have eaten many, many pierogies in my lifetime, and I think that the pierogies from The Pierogi Palace are very doughy. Their dough is very thick compared to most other pierogi businesses' dough. The result is that the flavor of the dough overpowers the flavor of the filling. Here are my reviews for the fillings that I chose: Potato vegan cheese - 3 stars - I tasted just potato and no cheese. Potato smart bacon - ? stars - I received no pierogi that looked or tasted anything like bacon. Instead, I got a second pierogi that tasted like plain potato. Tried Pierogi Palace for cabbage and noodles and stuffed cabbage. Stuffed cabbage were reasonably priced , good tasting, but small. I would rather have small and tasty reasonably priced over la rge and pricy, not as tasty. The cabbage and noodle servings were immense, much leftovers. I also had the Kielbasa and saurkraut sandwich which was very good. Overall very good value for takeout. Service was good, ready for pick-up when I arrived, ambience not given as takeout order. read more

Helen is the sweetest woman . We love her and the perogies. Being from California we don't get much perogies. Every trip to Cleveland I try to sample other places. So far I love her perogies. Hole in the wall place that offers a wide selection of cleveland polish food options and pierogi fillings. It has plenty of room for dine in but also offers to sell you uncooked pierogis deli style if you wish to do that. The service was friendly and it was extremely affordable, I will definitely be back when I come back to the Cleveland area. read more

What's not to love about pierogies!!! Especially when they have so many flavors and they have dairy free options! Stopped in for an early dinner tonight and tried two different dairy free pierogies (sweet potato and potato bacon garlic) and enjoyed two cabbage rolls with it. Excellent pierogies and quick service. I will definitely get the sweet potato ones again - they were almost like dessert; reminded me of pumpkin pie. So delicious! There is a dining area if you want to eat there or you can take out. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We will be back for sure! read more

It's been a hot minute since I've visited this store. I had a horrible experience there back in the day of their original one counter tiny shop which was in the same place that the current restaurant is in. I decided that it's been long enough that I'd give them another shot. So glad I did! Granted, I popped in an hour before closing, so the selection wasn't the best. The counter help was very nice and I think that there was only two people working there at the time. I ordered a dozen pierogi. 3 each chicken paprikash, horseradish, loaded baked potato and sour cream chive. They were deep fried to perfection and I got them to go. Very tasty! And you really only need 3 or 4 of these babies because they're quality, handmade gut bombs! So, to the idiot who was standing beside me complaining about the cost of the pierogi, get over yourself! First time visiting the palace. It's nestled into a small shopping center and easy to pass. The gentleman working was very engaging, friendly, and shared good info about their freshly made pierogis. The selection was pretty impressive and seems to have some specialty ones daily. Chose the traditional potato and cheese as well as the Buffalo chicken. They are good size and clearly fresh. Sold in half dozen or dozen increments. They also have a nice space for tables and serve food as well. The pierogis cooked well and tasted delicious. Found a new spot for sure. read more

I have driven past this place for a year. Keep on telling myself one day I need to give that place a try. The company I worked for has moved location. One day I was trying to figure out what to have for lunch. 30 minutes for lunch is not enough time since we don't have much around. So I pulled up my Uber eats and BAM. Pierogi palaces an option I flipped through the menu to make my selections. I ordered two stuff cabbages and one cabbage and noodles. Food arrives and off to my office I went. I open up the stuffed cabbage and it looked awesome. Than I had a large carton. I was wondering if they got my order wrong. No I didn't read that the cabbage and noodles were 2lbs. The food was awesome. I had a cabbage roll and noodles for lunch. Took the rest home and had it for dinner. Have little lest to have with my dinner tonight. Love home style cooking and this brought memories from my child hood. Growing up in Lorain the international festival was big during the summer. Amazing! We sought this place out while coming back from vacation. We tried about 10 different types of pierogis and loved them all! My favorite was the buffalo chicken and bananas foster! We ate there and they were deep fried and cooked perfectly. They were so good we took 12 home to cook ourselves! You could eat in and it was small, but very clean and organized! By far the best Pierogi's in Cleveland. They always have a wide variety of flavors. Today we purchased the potato and cheese, BBQ bacon cheeseburger, and taco. The potato and cheese never disappoint. I have had the taco on two other occasions and today they were fantastic as usual. This was a first for me with the BBQ bacon cheeseburger and WOW! They were absolutely amazing. The barbecue sauce wasn't to spicy or sweet. There were nice chunks of bacon. If you close you're eyes you would know you were eating a Pierogi. This may be my new favorite flavor. Very impressed with the huge variety of pierogis. I was a little worried when he said he was frying them(I'm used to them being finished off in browned butter) but they were awesome! Dare I say even better than the buttered style, not greasy at all. We tried six different kinds there(Taco, BBQ Pork, Sweet Cheese, Peaches & Cream, Blue Cheese Potato, and Bacon Potato) and after that had to take home even more varieties. I've driven passed this place a million times and thought "I really should try there some time, I wonder if it's any good". Well some time was yesterday and boy I'm so glad I did! I got 10 potato and cheese and 10 potato garlic and cheese. They're uncooked and I asked the very kind man " how long before I want to pick up do I need to call if I want you to cook them" and he said 3 or 4 minutes!! Yep. I let him cook them. They came out packed up with butter and onions and perfectly light brown and delish. I can't wait to try other flavors now! I highly recommend this place. The service was exceptional. David, the owner, was so cool to us. We got there approximately 10 minutes before they closed, but he did not rush us at all. I was planning a beer tasting party and needed some snacks to go with the brew. What better choice is there than pierogies and sauerkraut balls? The selection of the day seemed endless so I went with their most popular, potato and cheese. I ended up buying a couple of varieties and then also some sauerkraut balls. I tried the Pierogi place for the first time today (1/11/19) all I can say is this place is such a gem. The gentleman (who I believe is the owner) greeted me so warmly like I was family ! You don't find customer service like this everywhere.... there are 30+ fillings you can choose from for your Pierogis. I ordered 3 pierogis, sautéed. 1. Pepperoni, 1 pork and kraut (my fave of the bunch) and 1 cheese potato and sour cream. I also took 6 sour cream cheese and potato home to cook myself. I haven't eaten many Pierogis except the frozen ones in the store, BUT these are AMAZING the dough is made flawlessly and the fillings pack an abundance of flavor. They are ok, but this is nothing like the pierogis I've had growing up or in recent years as the flavor combinations have become wild. If you like Pierogi mountain in Columbus, be prepared this is not that type of pierogi. The little polish dinner in Cleveland does a great job of what I imagine as the traditional pierogi and this is different from that version. I used to go to the one at the west side market - but this one is so much closer to home. They always have a great selection of different types but the basic are amazing too! Wow!!!!! I would rate Pierogi Palace at 6 stars if I could! I have passed this place soooo many times, not realizing what I had been missing. I dined at Bistro 185 a few weeks ago, my dinner entree was just ok, but the pierogi side was outstanding. In making small talk with the server, he mentioned the piergois came from Pierogi Palace. I made it a point to visit this past Saturday afternoon, and the counter-person could not have been nicer. I mentioned to him, how I found the place, and inquired as to what variety I would have had at Bistro 185. He mentioned potato/cheese/garlic. The price, $1.00 each or $12 per dozen. I happily ordered 1 dozen, which had just been made the day before. He also mentioned that there is a 5 day shelf-life, before they need to be frozen. I prepared them last night for dinner, sauteing with onion in butter and olive oil and the end result was OUTSTANDING!! My family really enjoyed these pierogis.
