My wife's order was fine. I asked for a grilled chicken dinner so I could enjoy two sides. She said I only got one side. I picked the chicken noodle soup. When the order came I saw what the problem was. She entered a basket not a dinner. My grilled chicken was a sandwich instead of patties. When I tried the soup it tasted canned and a bit metallic, not at all homemade as I expected. I took it back and exchanged it for the dreaded and undesired fries. The chicken patty had gristle in the middle. My meal was not at all pleasant and I threw away half of it. This was unusual because Culver's is usually a good place to eat. Just not this time. We'll return but I'll pay closer attention and double check the order. read more

Poor, received over cooked pizza. Sent it back. Guy came out said it wasn't burnt. No apology but said this wasn't burnt. He had long hair no hairnet but came from kitchen . Asked for manager he said he was manager. Waitress was standing with smug look . We left. Over 30 year customer and will not return to this place. Your typical Culver's. They screwed up our order a bit but in our favor, kinda ... I always get a (single) mushroom & swiss ButterBurger with cheese curds, and my boyfriend gets a double mushroom & swiss burger with pretzel bites. We ended up getting two double burgers, cheese curds, and chicken tenders, for some reason. My boyfriend brought the tenders back up to the front, and they exchanged it for pretzel bites for him. Otherwise, everything was clean, including the bathrooms, and they were super fast, too - I went to use the bathroom, and by the time I came back (about 5 minutes later), our food was already ready (wow!). I didn't feel welcomed when I entered this Culver's. I dare not wanna drop the race card but it kinda felt my skin was part of my horrible existence. The cashier got my order all wrong. The only thing she got right was the French fries. I placed an order for a single butter burger with cheese, light lettuce and a small chocolate shake. My burger had no cheese, pickles and mustard. I am allergic to mustard and she gave me an attitude about why I couldn't have that burger. The place wasn't busy so I didn't think it should've been a hassle to have mine remade. Second, I was received a chocolate milk when I asked for a milkshake. And then she tried to say that I needed to pay extra because she rang it up as a chocolate milk. At this point, I was about to walk out and leave until the manager came out and resolved the problem. The cashier didn't apologize and was watching me rinse and fill my Stanley cup with WATER. I wasn't going to put another drink other than water because my body rejects soda, pop etc. Overall, I like the quietness of it. It was clean and well stocked but that's about all I can say about this location. The bathroom could use improvement as the floor was wet and there was no wet signs alerting women that this is hazardous. If I ever come to Anderson, I will not be returning to this location again. read more

We always have pretty good service, and the food and speed of service is pretty typical for a sit down/fast food type place. My biggest issue is that it's never clean. Tables don't get wiped down enough, the drink station is always covered in water, ketchup, etc. and today even the screens at check out had a layer of dust so bad somebody had drew in it. Makes me worry about how clean the area they prepare the actual food in is. read more

We placed our order at drive up and paid for it. They then asked up to pull up and said they would bring it out to us. We waited almost thirty minutes. Then my husband walked back to the drive up window. Our order was sitting off to the side. They had forgotten us. THEY DID NOT EVEN APOLOGIZE. I called and very politely talked to a manager and she told me she would send out some "coupons" for their error. Took my name and address at work. Never received anything. Culver's is, well, Culver's But this location has great staff! They're friendly, welcoming and ready to take your trays and clean up for you. They're always busy and the drive through always has a line of cars. The food is good, the frozen custard is better, and they also make things Gluten Free which is great for my boyfriend who has celiac disease. He's never had a reaction, and they specifically ask if it's an allergy, and in big red letters on the receipt ticket, they note that the food must be GF due to an allergy. read more

Disappointed with this visit, I just left 10 mins ago. We don't have Culvers in NC so I was excited to try the food. I ordered the cod filet and it was burned with burned crumbles sprinkled on the filet (see photos). What cook would think this was acceptable? He or she needs training or coaching. I went there for the first time today expecting the restaurant experience. I heard about their food and wanted to try it for myself. What I got was more the fast food experience with a side order of Steak and Shake service. The food was okay but nothing to write home to the family about. The restroom was mostly clean and so was the dining area. Aside from the stoic faced "waiting on you to speak first" girl at the register taking my order, everyone else was nice and pleasant. Not sure I will be revisiting this establishment in the future due to the fast food and high calorie count meal. I give 3 stars for the freshness. All the food is made to order and is brought to your table. The restaurant was clean and employees were quite friendly. My husband ordered a double cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and mayo and chose cheese curds for a side. I had a double cheeseburger with ketchup, mayo and onions with a side of onion rings. Each of us had a standard size drink. Culvers only serves Pepsi products (not my fave) so I got a lemonade. The drink and condiment area was constantly being wiped down and restocked. No messy squirts of ketchup which was nice. The first thing I noticed about our burgers was the shiny buns, SMOTHERED in grease or butter or something. I took one bite and the burger was fresh, but very bland and yep, greasy. I ate my onion rings which were very good. Hubby experienced the same issue, even after adding salt and pepper. No taste. Lots of grease. His cheese curds were good though. Our total was $18.33. We wish we would have gone next door to Montana Mike's for that price. read more

It's not ordinary fast food, it better. This trip, we ate next door @ Montana Mike's, then topped off our meal with a "Strawberry Concrete Mixer." We double the strawberries & LOVE it. We really like the BREADED TENDERLOIN, CHILI & frozen custards. Adjacent to the Hampton Inn & Holiday Inn Express, HOTELS, & Meijer and Menards mega stores, making it a great stop for meals !!! read more

We didn't have Culver's where I grew up in Ohio, so I was delighted to find one nearby when I moved to Anderson. Culver's burgers are delicious, and so is the frozen custard. I like that it's richer and creamier than regular ice cream. I also love the crinkle-cut fries. It's very reasonably priced. I have never used the drive thru because I like to dine in. The environment and employees are so friendly! The service is always good and food is out within about five minutes. read more

I have gone to Culver's multiple times to get double scoop chocolate ice cream in a cone at a variety of locations. Usually I am very pleased with my service, but today I was very disappointed with my experience. When I went to this location, they charged me for two scoops but I barely got enough ice cream to equal a single scoop. I didn't get my money's worth and I will never be going back to this location. This was my first visit to a Culver's and it was an excellent experience. The food overall was some of the best I have had at a quick service restaurant in a very long time. I had a double butter burger with bacon along with fries and Culver's root beer. It had a wonderfully different taste and an unbelievably low price. My desert was fabulous as well. I just want to culvers for my sister because her boyfriend just broke up with her and I felt bad. So, my sister got a caramel sundae and I got a cookies and cream. We were on our way home enjoying our ice cream and all of a sudden she found a huge chunk of something on her spoon and she was wondering what it was we thought it was a cashew because she's allergic so she was looking but eventually we found out that it was this huge beetle although we may have got the leftovers because it was 10 o'clock by now I thought that was still ridiculous and disgusting. read more
