So who doesn't like the old style Pizza Hut restaurants, well Anderson has one of the older style…read morehuge restaurants and one of my 82 year old moms favorite places is Pizza Hut. So we stopped at this location and it was almost noon and we were greeted at the door by Debbie and she allowed us to pick out our own booth. She told us they had a buffet and it would be starting in about 15 minutes but that we could get started on the salad bar. Debbie got our drink order quickly and we loved the heavy glasses they used. She constantly kept our drinks full and cleared our plates all while making conversation. This salad bar was one of the best I had seen in a Pizza Hut, the toppings were all fresh and lots of salad dressing to choose from. The pizza bar was well stocked and it had a couple pastas, several pizzas, a few types of breadsticks and dessert sticks. Everything was delicious. Debbie told us they have the buffet 7 days a week. My mom just moved up the street from Florida a few weeks ago so you already know she will be a regular. We saw the sign on the wall that said Debbie had been there now 39 years and I can see why. Other places should take some lessons from her on how to wait tables. We will certainly be back.

I was in Anderson related to a project I'm working on. We stopped at Wendy's for a quick break after getting done and before heading back to Indy. The order was simple. However, I'll just state that all aspects of this visit were quite pleasant. Service was timely. The order was correct. However, quite honestly, it was the people who made this an experience I'd recommend. They were friendly and helpful. They actually made me want to return on a future visit to Anderson. To be honest, it was somewhat unexpected and quite refreshing. While I wouldn't dare call this a 5-star experience, it was easily a 4-star experience and definitely the kind of experience that would have me stopping my next time through. Way to go, Wendy's!

It had to be less than 14 gallons. The bathroom only has 2 stalls and 1 sink and the hand dryer is located directly behind the sink making it impossible for 2 people to use at the same time. I used the McDonald's ordering app and went inside to get my order. It was about 5 minutes wait time even though the app said my order was ready for pick up. When they handed me my order I looked inside to see if the right dipping sauces were in the bag. There weren't any so I asked for them and had to show them that they weren't in the bag. I also requested more fries because my fries were not warm. Instead of just getting me more fries, she explained they were making my sandwich fresh as if that was going to make me satisfied with the temperature of the fries. But by the time the fries were replaced and were fresh, my fresh sandwich was no longer hot. I just waived the white flag and left.
