I placed an online order for pick up at 11:15. I was 10 minutes early and it was wasn't ready which was expected; I had my dog in the car on my way to visit my mom in Rochester Hills. I didn't check my bag, only asked if they included the malt vinegar for my mom's fish meal. I'm ok with tartar sauce on my fish sandwich which I was really looking forward to since there's no Culver near me in Maryland. When I got to my mom's place, I opened the bag and there was no fish sandwich in it. That was my lunch! I ended up eating 1/2 a piece of my mom's fish, and the cheese curds side I paid additional for. I called the restaurant and told them about their error. The person on the phone said I could come back and get a new sandwich just ask for the manager. It was a bit of a pain to go back there since it was out of the way because I was staying in Birmingham, but I really wanted my sandwich so I did it. The manager apologized and threw in free french fries. So I'm giving four stars because of her action and the fact that the sandwich was delicious. I have no problem coming back to this location. Not being from the Midwest, I was skeptical to to try Culver's because of all the hype I'd heard. But boy was it great! The crispy chicken sandwiches was delicious, as were the onion rings. The stars of the show for me were the cheese curds and buffalo chicken tenders. Both were so flavorful and delicious. I'd recommend trying the cheese curds while they're fresh and hot. Oh and how could I forget the concrete shakes. Those were awesome too. And the staff was all so nice, had great demeanors and really nice when I forgot my sauces and things. The restaurant was huge, with a lot of space. So I'd recommend dining in and eating the food fresh! read more

Stopped in for my favorite, the 2 piece North Atlantic Cod dinner with 2 sides. Price has now gone up to ~$15 (THANKS BIDENFLATION!). It was bought to my table QUICKLY and was PIPING HOT. The cod planks were deep fried to PERFECTION and were SO GOOD with the tartar sauce and fresh lemon. The fries were CRISPY on the outside, TENDER on the inside, the was they are supposed to be. Culver's Cole Slaw is always RIGHT ON, not too sweet, always CRISP & FRESH. This is a new location so the dining area is modern and clean. I always enjoy Culver's when I crave a "chippy" as the Brits would say. read more

Remarkably clean restaurant and super friendly staff. Each worker who passed our table smiled and bid us welcome! We had cod dinner and the children had a butter burger with fries and chicken tenders and fries. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Chicken was crispy, hot and tender, while butter burger was juicy and delicious. Cod dinner was hand-battered, crispy, but not greasy. Fries were crispy outside with fluffy inside. Their coleslaw was the even better than KFC or Popeye's! Custard was exceptionally good! We'll be back! Thank you for the good experience. When most restaurants have bland, cardboard-like food with mediocre service, this Culver's was a stand out! BRAVO keep it up! We'll be back! read more

Tried out the new Culver's today. I was a bit nervous considering they only opened yesterday and I expected growing pains. I was wrong! Service quick, efficient and friendly. Same menu you expect at all Culver locations. This one has plenty of seating and I noticed an outdoor patio for when it warms up. Great addition to Clawson. read more

stopped by Culver's on Sunday, and the experience was a mess from the start. It was confusing where to line up--people were just standing around waiting for food, and no one seemed to know what was going on. The line to order was about five people deep, but it wasn't moving at all. Meanwhile, several employees were just standing around behind the counter, clearly overwhelmed or untrained. I waited about 15 minutes to place an order, but no one acknowledged me, so I gave up and left. This place looked like it was being run by a group of kids with no management in sight. This is a new location so I believe there's still a couple kinks that need to be worked out in order for this location to run smoothly. I ordered a chocolate shake that was more like a vanilla shake with an essence of chocolate, it wasn't even brown. Also my almost $8 turtle sundae was so sad and puny looking lol. It was like half of the tiny cup full. All this aside, what I can not justify though is the $6.38 price tag for a PINT????!! I understand that Culver's I believe are independently owned so not all locations will have the same pricing but come on now. Do me a favor and go to the Rochester Hills location where you will get a pint for $3.50. That's literally half the price, that's outrageous. Or even the Madison Heights location where it's $4.89. I can't pretend anymore that this Culver's isn't some of the worst service out there but they're just "kids" so I don't want to see them fired but... whoever did the hiring for this place frontloaded ALL young people and after eating at this Culvers 6+ times in a short span I have to remove most of the stars. They get 1 star for good value and 1 star for always hot food. The orders are incorrect, the wait times are inconsistent, and why do they always pour sodas/tea at the beginning of the order so its flat and the ice is melted by the time its ready? Absolutely amazing! When you want a good burger, and you want fresh ingredients with a good fries, and a clean environment.....this would be the place! I can't tell you how excited I am that I have one within a mile of my house......I have to hold myself back, and consider it a treat, but I would totally eat here every if I had to! lol read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I love the Culver's by my house and have tried this Clawson location 3 times. Every visit has been so-so but today's was the last straw. The app told me to be there at 12:25 to pick up my lunch. The girl at the counter said only my drink was ready but the food should be right up. Now this place is busy and I try to have patience since I worked at McDonalds all through HS and college. 5 mins, 10 mins, 20 mins, goes by and people come and go with their food. I'm still waiting. I asked the counter girl to check and there's a bag on its side behind some drinks and it's my lunch! So incredibly disappointing and I used their app thinking everything would go smoothly. Never again. Please bring back the National Coney Island. They always got my order right and on time! read more

This is for Culvers overall not just 1 location. Culvers got a new crispy chicken sandwich. They used to have spicy chicken and regular crispy chicken. Unfortunately, they got rid of the non spicy chicken and revamped the recipe and now it's either spicy chicken or real spicy chicken. I have a kid under 10 could not finish his sandwich because it was to spicy. I took a bite and it was even spicy for me as an adult. Too bad we have been coming to Culvers since the 1st location opened near us which has been about 7 years ago. I hope corporate brings back the old crispy chicken sandwich. read more

This Culvers is too new for the quality and service to go downhill so quickly. Some items were missing from the order, others were wrong and the walleye was overcooked and cold. Don't order from the website, because they don't pay attention enough to coordinate the app's pickup time with when the food is ready. My order was getting cold for at least ten minutes before I got there and it would have been twenty if I hadn't been early. read more

Finally, I went up to the counter because everyone was gone- no one was waiting to order or for ordered food and asked about my order. My order was on the counter, just pushed aside.
