We signed up for the water purification system and got it installed and when we signed up for it we asked for rent to own so that we could own it and super Culligan rent to own means two different things rent to own to us means we pay for it till we own it. Rent to own to them means you pay for it up. You pay for it up. You finance it and pay monthly on it yet. That wasn't offered to us when we got the system. So now since the representative that sold it sold us, the water purification system didn't sign us up correctly. Culligan came back and said the only thing that they can do is either we buy it out right which is paying $9,000 or they have to come and pick everything up. Remove everything they installed and tear up our contract and redo the contract and then come out and replace everything which is stupid. Why not just tear up the contract and redo it since it's there at all that their customer service representative didn't listen to us or sell us the product the way we wanted. We're just discouraged and disappointed with them in that way that they handled the business. We are very happy with our water purification system. It's a great system. It helps it works. It's wonderful. We're just not a happy with the customer service and with the management at Culligan to not explain things better or honor what we wanted in the first place but we asked for read more

Terrible customer service. We bought 2 whole house filtering systems from them. We use them for iron removal. One of the systems broke spewing water all over the garage. Told us they couldn't come out to fix it for a week. We are on a well and can't use our water. Fingers crossed all my fixtures and porcelain don't turn orange. read more

I canceled my service after 5 years because they raised my service fees by $10.00, per month without any notice. I had the monthly exchange tank water filtration system. I canceled before the next tank exchange which was after12 days of service, of $80, monthly fee. I never got a refund, the next month I was again charged $80. I called to find find out why charged after canceling service, I was refunded and asked about my previous owed refund. The lady says yah, we owe you $12.00, for 12 days of service. I am what are you talking about? At $20, per week how did your math come out at $12.00, owed to me. She was like you want your $12.00, or not? I said keep the money sounds like you need it more than me. On a positive note I found a great deal on a Whole House water system (no salt), which came with a Reverse Osmosis system under the kitchen sink for less than 5K. Real happy with the system look around in River Islands newer developments to find them listed on many front yards. They were called out to service our existing soft water tank. Tech stated it was in good condition and it was not it has ruined all our plumbing in our house and cost us thousands, we're living with out water cause everything is clogged from there resin from there water softener tank & I have a 8 month old with special needs and currently can't use any water, bath her or wash her clothes. We called them multiple times and they basically said it wasn't there problem or fault when it most definitely was there fault sense everything worked just fine before they came out to service the soft water tank. read more

I wish I could remember her name but the office called back and had someone out the next day! Had to call twice but ultimately they came out to my parents house and fixed the issue we were having with our soft water system and the maintenance guy was nice and was in and out of there quickly. I wish they would call back faster though because we didn't know how serious of an issue this would have been for our health. overall, good enough. read more

Terrible service. Charged me for a service charge but all the service person did was take one look at our unit and said it is old and they don't have parts for it. He unplugged the unit without inspecting anything and charged my wife for showing up but he of course gave us a quote for a new unit. We basically got charged for a sales call. Completely unsatisfactory install, and customer service. After dealing with Mike Lambert and getting no where. I contacted corporate. They had someone else come out and say my crap install was good. Am I unreasonable to be upset with spending $800 on an install I'm unhappy with?!! I am the owner of 123 RE INVESTMENTS LLC. I've flipped 47 houses in my life, I know a few things about customer service, and doing a satisfactory job. I filed a Complaint with BBB, as I'm a fair man and the unit was installed. However, the outlet should be moved closer to the unit using conduit down the wall between the entry point and the outlet box. Mike lumber seems to think the electric in the outlet box is "low voltage"!? I'd never leave a customer unhappy, or tell them the install they are unhappy with. Looked like a good install to me. Let your associates install the unit on your home like this Mr Lambert. But not on mine.... Stay away from this company! My photos prove their negligence. read more

If I could give zero stars I definitely would. We had Brett come to our residence to take a look at our water softener system and was told he would not even touch our softener because it was too old but he could give us a quote for a new one. After he left our house he stated there would be no service fee since he did not even touch our equipment but surprise we received a $96 bill in the mail. I then called the company and was told I was lying to them and that Brett never said he would make sure we didn't pay a service fee. Absolutely horrible customer service. Do not call if you are looking for repairs because they will only want to sell you a new unit and bill you for telling you such. We have since fixed our unit ourselves and it is working beautifully! I just edited this review from one star to three stars since the owner of culligans contacted me personally to discuss the issues I had with his staff. This shows the owner truly cares about his customers and hopefully the staff will gain some training on handling certain situations. If my husband and I choose to use this company in the future there will be additional reviews regarding any experiences we have. read more

I appreciate Culligan because it is a worry free service, the technicians do all the work repairs, maintenance,clean,replace filters and office does the scheduling,,I also love the fact that having soft water has made my home cleaner no hard water stains everything sparkles clear,,,house cleaning is a breeze just wipe and I am done,,no chemical cleaners no hours of scrubbing. thanks! read more

Could not be more satisfied. The representative came and tested our water (we had done this already, we did our homework beforehand!) and his observations were the same as ours, and the conclusions. He clearly explained our options, and we chose to go with a lease plan. The installation was professional, the representative was friendly and informative, and the work was accomplished quickly. We have noticed many good things about soft water, but the most important we can't see. . . we know minerals are not clogging our pipes, or hot water heater anymore! Our dishes and glasses come out spotless, the dog's water bowl has no crusty mineral buildup, the toilets ditto. Best for me personally is when I wash my hair it is cleaner, and stays cleaner, for longer. . .and my skin is a lot less dry. read more
