HVAC systems are complicated but they are also a big investment, and so I wanted to understand everything and Carlos R. patiently explained everything and answered all of my questions in a straightforward and honest manner (I had a small amount of AC knowledge and also looked up some things after the visit). It didn't make sense to repair it as so much of my system was obsolete, and so I ended up deciding to proceed with a new system. DeHart dropped off a portable AC for my bedroom so that I wasn't miserable during the heatwave over the weekend, and the DeHart crew came early on Monday am and installed everything while I was at work--they were careful with my house and I came home to a clean and air-conditioned house. Carlos R. came back a couple days later to close the loop and answered my questions on how to use the system, the warranty, the maintenance, the permit process, and the rebate. The whole process has been seamless, and the fact that Carlos and DeHart are clearly so detail-oriented gives me a lot of confidence in their long-term quality of service.

I knew that was WAY overpriced. I was able to get the fan motor for $160 on Amazon and installed it myself. I would be very careful if considering using DeHart. Not because of the service, but because of the price of the parts. To DeHart's credit. One person did reach out to me. The quote did not have any labor costs listed on it. Only the part. The only solution we were offered was to purchase an entirely new setup. My husband and I knew that wasn't acceptable, so we reached out to Tony's Plumbing, and they truly were a knight in shining armor! It started with having them fix a leak we had in our front yard caused my a root. During that job we added on a water softener and replacement toilet. The water softener spent most the first week on error till google help me figure that one out. Everything else seemed to be working fine till I noticed our front yard beginning to die. During the pipe repair a worker told me he broke and "fixed" a sprinkler pipe, I said no worries. 6kish total A few weeks go by and my wife notices the box with the sprinkler valves is completely full of water. I call up Tonys not blaming them, but asking to come check it out incase it is something they may have caused. Turned out one of the valves had sprung a nice leak and would need replacing, best to do all 3 he says. I say sure and 1kish later I have no leak but no working sprinklers. We call them back asking for someone to come check out the new problem as the did work before the work was done... Well they tell us he is coming out at 9:30 the next day, he did not. I got home from work figuring he must have messed up the wiring. Sure enough he did not complete the wiring and left a ground wire un stripped and just kinda hanging out. I do a bit of work to fix his wiring mess and find the sprinklers are now working..... some of them. We have a set of sprinklers for a garden bed that now do not work that after I got the others working my wife called Tonys back again for them to come look at this. He comes while we are at work and calls me to argue it is not his problem because he did not touch those. Well he did touch the wiring and messed that up so who else should I blame that the job is not done? We will not waste more money with Tonys or Knights or Whomever the claim to be anymore. Horribly disappointed after having spent that much money just deal deal with "professional" plumber that needs someone trained in automotive to come fix his work.
