We live in an older home that the home inspector told us was in fantastic condition when we purchased it a decade ago ("better than newer homes"!). Well, suddenly we've had multiple issues including a clog in the mainline and a leak under the house. The leak turned out to be due to a water heater leak. AHS paid for a new water heater but there were additional costs not covered under our home warranty. We are on a tight budget but after speaking with Scott, the owner, we decided to get the work done anyhow since I liked how he wanted to do the job up to code. We are very impressed with the result! (See photo. They replaced the piping and everything.) Unfortunately, in just the few short days before we caught it, the leak also damaged our bathroom floor. (Our water heater sits up against a shared kitchen/ bathroom wall.) We became seriously worried about the additional costs, as well as possible subfloor damage and mold, etc., so we decided to file our first home owner's insurance ever. We would have been refused if it were not for Scott taking the time to send the insurance company photos of the damage and explaining to them how he knew the leak was short term, etc.! This was definitely going above and beyond because he doesn't get paid to talk to the insurance company. It was also very kind of him and a huge help to us because (as we have now learned), even small leaks can be very expensive. As far as the mainline/toilet clog, we do not have a clean out valve in our bathroom. I remember having another guy come out one time from another company and he refused to do the work because he said he would not pull a toilet! Anthony from Premier Plumbing was so kind and helpful, however! He pulled the toilet, used his equipment (I don't know the name), found a few tree roots, and cleared the clog. He also recommended that we run a camera down the pipes but that was not covered by AHS so I decided to see if our other home repair company, Home Serve, would cover it. I can't say enough about how nice and professional Anthony was/is :) . So, in short, any time I need plumbing work done either through AHS or Home Serve, I am going to ask for Premium Plumbing first! read more

Worthless unprofessional amateur service technicians Had an issue with water heater not lighting the pilot. These mediocres came in and didn't attempt to check the issue on their own. Instead called the manufacturer to troubleshoot, which i have done already. After trying to follow the instructions from the manufacturer which eventually didnt work, they decided the gas valve unit has to replaced and left my place with the service fee. They even said, the work order has been closed and cannot move forward. The same night, I did my research on the internet and a was able to see the igniter lighting but i had to try multiple times which eventually lit the heater. Next day I spoke the owner who goes by name scott. I understood this guy was arrogant MF. I asked him for cost of repairs to which he said he would give me a call in couple hours which he didnt. I called him after few hours and gave me a estimate of $600. When I asked him about the experience his technicians have, he boasted that they are certified. I highly doubt they have any experience. He got annoyed and hung the call understanding that it was this conversation was going other way. Dont get trapped in such fraud service providers. they cheat people and take your money for free. Update - your technician was not even able to do the basic job which i was able to do. And you call yourself freaking certified. You couldn't even respond to my question and hung the call. I contacted my Home warrant company for leaking faucet and they sent what seemed to be a new technician to change them. Guy took more than two hours to replace one faucet and ended up making a hole on my tile. Called the company and said it wasn't them. I asked for a manager and he never called me. Our laundry room flooded multiple times while doing laundry. everything was tightened, but we could not not figure out the problem The water travel into our coat closet and caused mold to build up. Ishmael came out today and was very helpful. he figured out the problem right away and screwed the water pipe so it doesn't move. he also called our home warranty company to discuss about the potential mold issue so they can send someone to test the wall. So good! I submitted a request for service to our Home Warranty and they connected us to Premium Plumbing. We had a leak in the garage and couldn't tell where it was coming from. I got a call from their office the following morning and their tech, Edgar, was here within an hour to evaluate the situation. He was very thorough with his inspection and testing. He needed to cut into the drywall in order to see the pipe he suspected was leaking and asked for approval before doing so. He confirmed the leak, went to pick up the parts he needed and fixed the leak right then. We really didn't expect to have someone come look so soon, let alone to solve the problem right away. Lucky for us, Premium Plumbing was very quick to respond so our home didn't end up with any major damage from the leak. They were amazing to work with, very professional and did a great job. We've had a drain and faucet issue with our bathtub in our master bedroom. We contacted our home owners insurance who had us set up an appointment with Premium Plumbing & Drain. The plumber came out, assessed and diagnosed the situation and simply told my wife that he would place an order for the parts. After 2 weeks, we never heard anything so I decided to call my home owners insurance to check on the progress. According to Old Republic, they were told by the plumbing company that "we," ( my wife and I) tried to fix it ourselves. I WISH I had plumbing experience so that I could attempt to fix it myself but that was NEVER THE CASE!!' And we were told that the parts were being ordered! Garbage disposal started leaking on a Sunday so I put it out there to yelp. premium plumbing offered me the same disposal with the same level of power as the one I already had instead of suggesting a lower level. I had a very small window the next day and they were able to accommodate and did so on time. I even threw in that when i was shutting off my kitchen valve, that too leaked, which was new info given. We had a plumbing issue on OCTOBER 2022. There was a slow leak in our upstairs shower so we called our home insurance company and they sent out PREMIUM PLUMBING to our house. The plumber checked out the issue and said it was an easy fix. He made a big hole behind the shower to access the pipes and next thing you know our ceiling downstairs is leaking from the vent. Our bathroom was flooded including part of our bedroom that was carpeted. Our ceiling and wall downstairs had big water stains and everything needed to be dried and repaired. I called Safeco insurance to get the repair done and even though we hd a deductible of $5000, we had them come in and do the repair because we had no choice. All PREMIUM PLUMBING did to help was bring in 2 fans to help dry the carpets. The manager that I talked to said that their insurance would take care of everything. Now, it's APRIL 2022, 6 months after and the issue still hasn't been resolved. Safeco insurance has been in contact with Their insurance company but they have yet to reimburse us for the damages. My water main was leaking at the joint between the copper pipe and PVC just outside the house. The office staff, Crystal and Ashley, are very patient and understanding. They immediately scheduled my job for the next day. Plumbers, Oscar and Jose, were very detail oriented and thorough. They did a meticulous job replacing the exterior copper pipe and fittings. Beware of Ashley. She plays nice at first, but is rude when it comes down to helping. I had put in a service call a week ago. The appointment would have been today. I waited all day with no calls or anything. I reached out myself. Ashley told me my appointment was canceled by my home appliance warranty. I verified myself it was not canceled. Secondly, I was told there was mix up on my appointment. Not only that all of a sudden there was a problem with them coming to look at my water heater after my warranty got in touch with them. She said because the original plumber broke the valve they can't come. Number one way wait a week to let me know? Number two, I had already explained the whole situation with her when I made the service call. My home warranty appliance already approved replacing the water heater from the first original visit. My water heater is old. The drain valve was already determined it was not broken intentionally. I don't understand why Ashley had to purposely look in it to a week after scheduling the appointment only to stand us up. Number three Ashley declined the call now because of the rudeness. Well, hello I had an appointment everything was fine and approved. There was no issues until you (Ashley) made it worse. You were pretty rude yourself. When I asked why you wouldn't call me after finding out supposedly the appointment was canceled you basically told me it was my warranty's to reach out to me. If you are such a "good" admin, you would of reached out to me to make sure. The communication is always between the contractor and customer. Warranty only approves the work you submit to be done. As it states online on my account communication is through the contractors. I can't believe how unpleasant and unprofessional this call went. I wasn't expecting it to turn out this way. Update: I thought they had fixed the problem. But after we closed up the wall and a few months later we noticed the wall showing signs of moisture. We called our warranty company AHS and they said that since it had been 5 months since the repair, it would take a new call charge. So they sent a new plumbing contractor and when they opened up the wall, the last repair was spraying out water from faulty soldering. There was excessive gobs of used solder on the ground. The new technician, and my own knowledge, indicates improper repair. This is what happens when you solder or sweat a water line and it's wet. The solder won't hold very well so they just kept adding solder until it held, which obviously didn't last very long. Now we have extensive damage to my wall and floor and AHS contract says they don't cover secondary damage, which is BS, and that they are not liable for the faulty work from their vendor. But we didn't hire the contractor nor do we have any paperwork or contract with these guys. So can someone please tell me what recourse we have? read more

If I can rate this place no stars, I would. Supervisor Jason was supposed to come back to my property today to fix some plumbing problems I had for some time now however, he never showed up because where I live you have to go through security before you can access any properties in the community. Jason had no kind of documentation or proof to show he was here to do a job at my property so security then turned him away. MIND YOU, This vendor has been to my property multiple times prior so they are WELL AWARE you have to get through security first. Not only does it look bad being a "supervisor" but when you have history of being at a property more then once prior, there's some sort of logging you have to input such as if there's a gate code, or if you have to access security in this case..so YOU WOULD THINK they'd know to have their s**t in order to avoid any inconveniences. After I found out my security turned him away (cause they were taking safety precautions & just doing their job) I called up the office direct & spoke to either Crystal or Ashley & the customer service i received today was beyond terrible. She was trying to argue & go back & fourth with me instead of trying to resolve the issue and just do her f***en job. Tech never came back, they "turned the job down" which was fine with me cause after the customer service i received I didn't want them at my property or work done by them. LOL This company needs to seriously reconsider their receptionist they have & make a change. Avoid this place if you can.. read more

I replaced my old sink faucet with a new one and in the process, discovered my old water lines had been leaking and the drain was cracked. It's actually a wonder there wasn't more of an absolute mess under there. Scott responded to my home warranty's dispatch for a plumber and I'm so glad he did!
