She's had different companies come out to check her sewage line after finding roots in the system, every last one of them said she needs to replace the system. And that they need to dig out under the house. After having herk's come by and give his opinion, he said the pipe was already replaced and roots were coming in from the connection. He helped my mom call the city for them to take care of it, which they did. Cleaning out the line of roots and also apply weed and roots killer. He explained everything very well and also let my mom see what he saw on camera and explained it to her so she understands what's really going on. Would recommend herk's to anyone looking for an honest plumber.

I booked Dutchman Plumbing for two separate plumbing tasks because they were a referral. We also…read morecome from a veteran family ourselves, so we were expecting a more professional and respectful experience. When the plumber arrived, he told me he could not do one of the tasks. That was frustrating because I would have preferred to know that before the appointment was scheduled so I could have planned accordingly. He also explained that the service had been delayed because he was still waiting on one of the parts and wanted to make sure it was a good quality part and not a cheap one, which I actually appreciated. The issue was the lack of communication leading up to the delay and the fact that one of the tasks could not be completed. During the visit, he called me over and asked technical questions about the plumbing setup that I could not reasonably answer. He then had me call the homeowner while she was at work and kept her on the phone to ask her those questions, which defeated the whole point of me being there for the appointment. The configuration was right there in front of him, so it felt unnecessary and unprofessional. We also agreed on a price beforehand, but the price changed after he arrived. When I questioned it, he said he had to charge what he did because my faucet was "high end." That did not make sense to me because the faucet was an under 200 dollar Home Depot faucet installed by a family member. The explanation felt off, and combined with everything else it did not inspire confidence. With the inability to complete one of the tasks, the shifting price, and the overall vibe of the interaction, I decided not to move forward. When I declined service, he muttered multiple comments under his breath to his partner while I was standing a few feet away, including unbelievable and similar remarks. That was unprofessional and disappointing.

Update: the manager changed the charge and I really appreciate that! Thank you…read more I will recommend them but just be sure they charge you correctly.

The very next day Jacob our previous tech was here at our house assessing and recommending ways to go about fixing the problem. We had a shower leak that started upstairs and eventually came through our ceiling after a remodel…read more Our contractor didn't even attempt to fix the issue and instead blamed the shower parts themselves, saying they were foreign. The only solution we were offered was to purchase an entirely new setup. My husband and I knew that wasn't acceptable, so we reached out to Tony's Plumbing, and they truly were a knight in shining armor! The gentleman who came to our home arrived the very next day and really listened to what we had to say. He took his time diagnosing the issue, explained that the shower part had been improperly installed, and then fixed it. No excuses, just results. The price was very reasonable as well. Thank you so much to your team for saving the day!

After already having one service let me know there "was nothing more they could do" - Kelly came out and made the impossible possible! He used his unique approach to get in there and the tenacity to get the job done without recommending additional unnecessary work or overcharging. (grateful!) We talked through rational next steps for future issues/repairs, and he took the time to walk and talk through some areas of the property I could keep an eye on. He came equipped with all the tools needed to get through the job, and I'm happy to say I've found a plumber that I feel I can trust to handle any and all issues that may come our way in the future... Never anticipated being so energetic to give a plumbing review, but really appreciated the experience (surprisingly) and how he handled it, because let's be honest- no one ever calls a plumber out when they're having a "good day"... Thank you for turning our terrible situation around and getting this new year back on track!
