I had DeHart plumbing give me 3 estimates to fix a water main leak. They ranged from $13,000 up to…read more$25,000. They assumed I had all galvanized pipe under the driveway to the water meter and would have to cut and remove parts of my driveway. I decided to contact a competitor to get an estimate. The first thing they did was to open the meter box and discovered I have schedule 80 pvc and not galvanized. My new estimate is $1,400. I personally feel like DeHart was definitely trying to take advantage of me for being a senior. Be cautious everyone.
