The next day, the issue had come up again, not even 12 hours later! He came back out and charged us again! $300 (which was 1/2 off because we paid cash, again, no consistency with pricing) but there was a warranty that stated "If within the Guarantee Period a drain stoppage or other defect in the repair of plumbing fixtures plumbing parts installed by Top Tier Plumbing Inc. occurs, Top Tier Plumbing Inc. will clear the drain stoppage, or repair or replace (at Top Tier Plumbing Inc.'s option) the plumbing fixture of plumbing part previously installed at no cost to the customer...", if there were any exclusions that would void my warranty, they did not mention that to me and since the issue occurred less than 24 hours of them fixing the initial issue, I'm not sure how long the warranty is even valid for and none of that was made clear to me as the customer. So now, at this point, we've already paid TWICE for the same issue to be fixed and then the issue came back AGAIN on the third day. I contacted Taylor and he said he'd come by again and he never showed up. I had to call him again the next day to remind him and he thanked me for reminding him, which tells me that he forgot that he had to come the day before! At this point, I had someone else come out and fix the issue but asked Taylor if he could still come to discuss the second charge we had since there's a warranty (on the receipt) and it hadn't even been 24 hours but he said there was no warranty and still never came by. Not happy with the service or customer service I received and we lost out on a lot of money. ---------------------------------------------- JULY 27 I would say: You never returned a third time, that's absolutely not true. Please provide written proof that you came back a third time at no charge. I called asking when Taylor would come back and he said "thanks for reminding me" and still never came back! We also have a ring camera and can show there is no one coming back from top tier plumbing a third time. Even though the second time you came out on a holiday, it was still less than 24 hours after the first time and it wasn't told to me or stated in the warranty that if you have to come out on a holiday, the warranty is void and we'd be charged at a discounted rate.... We initially thought it was the toilet, so we removed the toilet entirely and covered the hole. I found Jimmy's Plumbing and called him directly. He made the time to come over next business day even though he had a full day of work scheduled. As soon as he entered the bathroom he checked our walls for soft spots, looked in our cabinets for leaks, etc. He also checked the hole where the toilet was. He knew exactly where the smell was coming from, the overflow in the bathtub. He gave us his suggestions for getting rid of the smell and then said to add a new rubber gasket and seal it. He did suggest that the flange needed to be replaced because the original one was old and therefore, we could be have issues with leaks/smell. In the end, Jimmy was very knowledgeable and thorough! The issue was the lack of communication leading up to the delay and the fact that one of the tasks could not be completed. During the visit, he called me over and asked technical questions about the plumbing setup that I could not reasonably answer. He then had me call the homeowner while she was at work and kept her on the phone to ask her those questions, which defeated the whole point of me being there for the appointment. The configuration was right there in front of him, so it felt unnecessary and unprofessional. We also agreed on a price beforehand, but the price changed after he arrived. When I questioned it, he said he had to charge what he did because my faucet was "high end." That did not make sense to me because the faucet was an under 200 dollar Home Depot faucet installed by a family member. The explanation felt off, and combined with everything else it did not inspire confidence. With the inability to complete one of the tasks, the shifting price, and the overall vibe of the interaction, I decided not to move forward. When I declined service, he muttered multiple comments under his breath to his partner while I was standing a few feet away, including unbelievable and similar remarks. Found this business for my mom and service was so good that she told me to make sure I leave a…read morereview for them. She's had different companies come out to check her sewage line after finding roots in the system, every last one of them said she needs to replace the system. And that they need to dig out under the house. After having herk's come by and give his opinion, he said the pipe was already replaced and roots were coming in from the connection. He helped my mom call the city for them to take care of it, which they did. Cleaning out the line of roots and also apply weed and roots killer. He explained everything very well and also let my mom see what he saw on camera and explained it to her so she understands what's really going on.
