Camaron Cocido Tostado (green sauce instead of the black sauce) $16.99 - Michelada - $12.50
Brent L.

The quesabirria is ok. It tastes pretty much like roast beef though. The meat is very tender, but it lacks any special seasoning. It is really like roast beef. The camaron cocido tostado is a lot better. Imagine ceviche on a tostada, topped with a generous helping of avocado. (we asked for the green sauce instead of the black sauce, since it was spicier) The service is OUTSTANDING! Very friendly, helpful, and attentive staff. The only comment I want to add, is that a bottle of Modello is $6. That's kinda like downtown prices. Bottom line - I'll go back, but I won't go out of my way for it. It's too pricey.

I won a September birthday giveaway for Culichis. So I had a nice joint birthday lunch here on a Sunday. The food and service was good. It was pretty quiet when we went but still had a good time with my group. We got hooked up with birthday shots from a cute duck and birthday cheesecake with party candles. There was supposed to be a band involved but I guess they were off that day or time. Overall a nice experience.

I was in the area and looked on Google Maps for something to try out. This was close by. I've never heard of this place but oh my was it delicious! Everything is so flavorful! Most of the menu is in Spanish though. The service was great and the artwork is gorgeous! Coming back again :)

Loved the environment and food!!!

Great food, service, environment, music! Felt right at home. Such a variety of food: tacos, sushi, alcohol...

Tequila!!!

We got here early, we were the very first ones in getting there. Rodrigo greeted us even though he was by himself he took our order and he was fast! He was very nice and went through the whole menu with us since it was our first time here. Everything he recommended was DELICIOUS!!! Thank you Rodrigo! We really enjoyed it! Todos suuuuuper amables!!!

Came with my girlfriend for a little lunch, we had the queso flamado and both got the quesabirria plates. They were pretty good, very tasteful but a little small on the portion size, still delicious though. The menu looks good definitely worth a shot and trying something else next time

Papas endiablas

Delicious! Simple, excellent interior Mexican food. My husband and I were blown away. The papas endiabladas, volcanes, enmoladas, and carnitas de puerco were amazing. The potatoes were small roasted potatoes in an adobo, chipotle, lime sauce. The Volcanes were amazing, one of the best tostada chips I've ever had in my life! And the Carne Asada was very tender. The Carnitas de puerco were amazing as well, slow stewed meat perfectly seasoned. The chicken enmoladas were in a true brown molé sauce. Also they bring out these Fried corn cakes with excellent salsa's; caution the sauces are very spicy. I am very sorry, I did not get a picture of the pork.

Excelent place to go and eat, the servers were extremely kind which I love it :) the food was also very good and I recommend to eat in the place which has a nice environment.

We stop to see the place after reading some reviews and seeing photos of some delicious looking plates .. We decided to order in and we were not disappointed with the selections on the menu .. decided on 2 Stuff Shrimp Empanadas for starters while we waited for our sushi rolls which were as delicious as they looked plus the Cold Modelo Beer just made them even tastier.. We will definitely be back and hopefully introduce the Restaurant to other friends and family.. maybe next we can catch the live music on Thursday or Friday.

But my best friends really wanted to give it another shot, so we went for it. And I have to say, they pretty much turned it around this time. The staff was super attentive, checking on us often and making sure we were well taken care of. It felt like they really wanted to make this a positive experience. The food was great: crawfish, shrimp, and snow crab with their signature spice blend that's definitely on the spicy side but absolutely delicious. We also tried the regular fries, and next time I'm definitely going for the sweet potato fries to keep it a little more glycemic-friendly. And here's a fun detail we loved: their Pepsi products were spot on. It's like the Pepsi equivalent of how McDonald's nails their Coke--perfectly carbonated and just right. So yes, there's still a little knot in my throat from that past hiccup, but this visit really helped untie it. We left happy and we'll definitely be back. If you had a rough experience before, I'd say give them another shot--this time, they really got it right.

Our server Tyler, was excellent--super attentive and answered all of my aunt's questions about the food and the place with patience and detail. My first visit here was for the Elite Event, and I enjoyed it overall--except for the salsa verde, which was too salty. My aunt ordered the Empanada Costena and the Calamari to start. She absolutely loved the empanada, and everyone agreed the salsa verder could use a little less salt. The calamari, on the other hand, was delicious--crispy and flavorful. I couldn't get enough! For my main course, I went with the grilled Tilapia from the Mambo Classis set menu, paired with a salad. It was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor--I finished every bite. The rest of my party orders Grilled snapper, Mambo Fried Fiesta and the Sliced Sautéed Octopus. Everyone enjoy their meals and the portions were so generous that they even had left overs. It was a totally pleasant lunch experience for all of us and we'll surely be visiting again.

I have not been around someone smoking in so long and the last place I want it is in a restaurant. The boil was decent. The problem is salt. There was so much salt on the sausage and other parts of the boil that it was not all edible. The crab in the boil was good, the shrimp was okay, the muscles okay. No one ate the sausage, most of the potatoes were left bc they were hard. I will say the calamari was the reason for the extra star. Everyone agreed the calamari was excellent. The sweet tea was great. There is graffiti on everything. The walls, the chairs, the leather , the decor. If your kids can read and you don't want to answer questions as a parent this is not the place for you. It was filthy, there was food all over the ground. When we sat down there was shrimp, French fries and potatoes under our table. We did not see a single person cleaning the floors. This was not a good night out. The man seemed upset we did not want the food to go. We didn't eat it there, why bring it home to throw it out?

But I've always been curious because the building itself is shaped like a boat. The exterior looks a little sketchy at first glance, but don't let that stop you. I'd definitely still give this place a chance. Once inside, they fully commit to the boat theme, which I actually really enjoyed. It's nautical and fun. We were greeted pretty quickly when we walked in. Our group ordered half-shell oysters, baked Cajun oysters, a shrimp po' boy, and a catfish po' boy. The baked Cajun oysters were my favorite and all of us unanimously agreed the fries were some of the best we've had in a while. Perfectly crispy. The shrimp and catfish in the po' boys were deep-fried with a classic cornmeal breading. It was pretty standard, but satisfying. One unexpected and cool touch is that they serve beer... and soju. I've never seen soju at a seafood/Cajun/crab boil spot before, so that was a fun surprise and a nice change from the usual drink options. Overall, a solid experience with good food, friendly service, and a memorable theme. Even if the outside makes you hesitate, it's worth checking out.

We've been wanting to try something different from the usual, and this place absolutely delivered. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted promptly and treated with genuine kindness. Our waitress was polite, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire visit. To drink, we ordered a large hibiscus tea served in a mason jar. You can immediately tell it's made in-house -- incredibly fresh, with a subtle hint of lime. Easily one of the best hibiscus teas I've had, and far better than the powdered versions many places use. I wouldn't even hesitate to pay for refills. We also started with a Modelo (canned), crudo shrimp (2 pieces), Japanese peanuts, chamoy, and a sauce at the bottom of the plate that was unbelievably good -- likely one of their ceviche sauces. Whatever it was, it was packed with flavor. For entrees, my spouse ordered the Pork Belly AguaChile, and it was phenomenal. The pork belly was crispy, tender, and moist all at once, loaded with flavor. It came with a generous portion of very fresh guacamole, topped with julienned red onions and serrano peppers, plus four corn tortillas and a fresh salsa verde with the perfect amount of heat. My spouse isn't big on tortillas, so I happily made a few tacos myself -- no regrets. I ordered the Ceviche La Mamona, which included tender octopus, melt-in-your-mouth ahi tuna, perfectly cooked shrimp, avocado, onion, cucumber, tomato, and a black sauce that tied everything together beautifully. This was, without question, the best ceviche I've ever had. I've never been to Mexico, but this is exactly how I imagine it should taste -- incredibly fresh and perfectly balanced. They also serve it with crackers, tostadas, and two creamy salsas: one habanero and one jalapeño/serrano. Honestly, the ceviche alone could have been a full meal. If you're looking for generous portions, outstanding freshness, excellent service, and a truly memorable seafood experience, AguaChiles is the place. Next time, I'm coming back for the whole octopus, super tostada mixta, oyster preparado, queso flameado, fried oysters, and possibly a molcajete. I love food, and every meal here felt like an adventure.
