I visited this location on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't crowded at all. We didn't have to wait for a table (for two). We noticed that the menu was revamped and I was excited about that. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms and popcorn shrimp for appetizers. The popcorn shrimp was really good and it came in fun paper like movie theater popcorn. The mushrooms were very flavorful and stuffed with delicate crab meat. Our main entrees were the salmon plate and steak topped with crab. The salmon plate was a bit bland. My husband had to add salt which he normally doesn't do with his food. The steak, however, was great! It was nice and tender and because it had crab and sauce on top, it was so flavorful! This red lobster finally redeemed itself from a previous experience. This location has more original and unique selections and combinations worth of food. The food is hot and fresh, seasoned nicely, and when asking staff about air conditioning they made the room feel much fresher. We had a great server named Jacob who was great with being attentive and making sure we had refills. I ordered the clam chowder the soup was nice chunky bits and creamy. The stuffed mushrooms were crispy nice spicy stuffing and creamy. The crab was well made and the room wasn't freezing therefore the food didn't get cold. The lobster linguini was so good! Disappointing. When you pay $80 + tip for lunch, you should leave stuffed. Baked potato was small. Crab leg cluster was small. Lobster tail was small. The scampi was good, but the shrimp pasta tasted like it had jar sauce and was lukewarm. A $43 plate should be better. The crispy potatoes my dining partner got tasted rancid. She said some were burned and didn't eat them. And why did they stop including the salad with your meal? It's now a premium side with an extra charge. And they had no crackers to crack the crab legs with. Just some worthless plastic utensil. Ambiance and service were fine. Very good experience overall! Our waiter, Derek, even though it appears he was the only waitstaff in the restaurant, did an excellent job. Service was friendly, prompt, and personable. Seafood stuffed mushrooms were very tasty. Lobster bisque was very good, although seemed to be void of any lobster. Salad was fresh and tasted good, with the blue cheese dressing being of a mild kind, which I appreciated. Entree could have been a little higher temperature, but was very good. The flounder was very mild, scallops were good, shrimp was very good. Coleslaw was not my favorite, but that could also be due to the mixture of other food I was eating. This review is really more about Amanda providing outstanding customer service. She was friendly, attentive, engaging, and it was obvious that she is good at her job. Good customer service can be hard to find nowadays and great customer service is almost unheard of with so many places being short-staffed. But Amanda provided us with amazing customer service and it was so refreshing. She was also serving a large dinner party next to us and seemed to be doing just as great with them as well. The host had tapped him in the shoulder to ask him to move. Idk if he was already in a bad mood or maybe they didn't like each other already but he was already aggressive telling her don't you see me doing something, which she eneded up grabbing the table top to move it out of the way, he snapped at her and took the tray and told her she was a rude ass. We came for lunch because my Aunt wanted to eat here. I hadn't been to Red Lobster for at least a couple of decades. My brother and I ordered the fish and chips. She got a meal that included salmon, shrimp, and lobster tail. She seemed to enjoy her meal okay. Our fish and chips plate only came with one fried filet, fries, and coleslaw. There were 2 tiny hush puppies on the plate. It was very disappointing. The fried filet was not a substantial piece, and the breading was rather greasy. It most definitely was NOT worth $15. I recently visited Red Lobster a few times after work for some appetizers and a drink. I know what you're thinking, Red Lobster can be expensive and it's far from fine dining, but it certainly has its place. There are a few delicious gems on the menu that won't break the bank and leave you satisfied. Let's start with that lobster pizza . I had been craving pizza like crazy, and I'd had this before. It had been a while since I'd been to Red Lobster, so I was happy to see it was still on the menu. It is actually made in store and I customized it by adding jalapeños. It really is tasty, with a thinner crust and nice chunks of real lobster on the pizza. It's nothing like a NY style or deep dish or anything, it's more of a thin crust that's delicious in its own way. Highly recommended. The mussels. What can I say. It's always been probably my favorite menu item if all time at RL, along with lobster tails. The toast is perfect for sopping up that white wine and garlic sauce. Mouthwatering. Now for the newcomer to my palette. I never ate Brussels sprouts as a kid, and have only tried them once (at a different restaurant) just before the pandemic hit. I had to try them here. I was glad I did. Roasted to perfection with a slightly sweet glaze that isn't too sweet yet worked well with the brussles own flavor and the little crispy bits the put in there. Add a little fresh ground salt and pepper and it was a hit. Would order again! I sat at the bar, and the bartender Charles was great. Easy to talk to and when I was done he was right there with the to-go box for my leftovers and extra biscuits to take home for later. Y'all, I know Red Lobster sometimes gets a bad rap, but they actually do have some great menu items that won't break the bank. If you haven't been in a while, I'd recommend giving it another try, even if it's just for a few apps and a drink. 5 stars based on what I ate and the bartenders service (same bartender both times) over my last 2 visits. I also had the jumbo shrimp, shrimp cocktail, and scallops during those visits and they were great but this review is already long. We started with the Crispy Shrimp Lettuce Wraps which were pretty good, but a little too sweet for my taste, but someone else might love it.
