This place has great energy and friendly employees, who are ready to offer up suggestions and a taste. I loved that for a newer location/brewery that they already had regulars that they knew by name when they walked in. This place is small but that is what gives it character. You can watch them work while enjoying a cold beer. It's a must see while in Dunedin. read more

Cueni has to be one of our very favorite local breweries and there are a lot of them to choose from. The staff is always very friendly and very efficient and a pleasure to deal with. The Tap room is always clean and very welcoming. And then add the 10 Taps of their beer and you've hit a home run. Today the wife and both started with a Mo's Melon IPA which was outstanding and finished with the Buzzed Blonde Ale which has a strong coffee aroma and incredible flavor. So if you in the area Cueni is a must stop for a cold craft beer. read more

There are about 7 breweries within a one mile radius of each other in downtown Dunedin, so as you could imagine, the competition is stiff. Cueni Brewing takes first place in my opinion! There offer plenty of variety, something for every type of beer lover! My boyfriend said their IPA (whose names escape me at this moment, of course) was out of this world. Their pumpkin beer was absolutely one of the greatest pumpkin ales I have ever had.. and I've had way more than enough to make an informed decision on the matter!! They also have a nice little outdoor seating area. I can't say enough good things. I do believe the owners are a husband / wife team; we spoke to the woman for a bit and she was lovely as ever. If you're going to brewery hop around Dunedin, make sure this place is on your list.. but they're not open Mondays! read more

Decent beer selection (I had the cranberry wit which was nice) but the interior was very cluttered. The brew setup was visible and appeared to be a very small operation. Came by during their grand opening and had a very good time. They have a variety of beers to choose from (my favorites were the Belgian Triple, Belgian Single and the Cranberry Wheat while my husbands was the IPA). What I really enjoyed about this place is how they had not only 16oz and flights to choose from, but 4oz, 8oz and 16oz. The size was small and quaint and right when you walk in you have the beer fermenting machines with the long bar and a back and side area outside to hang out (btw did I mention you can enter the brewery from the Pinellas Trail?!). read more

Updated review. After coming here for about 3 years I have to say I won't come again. Newest round of bartenders admitted that they were new and didn't know anything. Then this Blonde long haired bar tender, probably about 25-35 years old (wouldn't tell me her name)-- refused to serve us after 1 beer because she said that our child was out of control. We were outside and didn't bring him in and he was playing nicely with another child. This 'kicking out' led to a slew of other problems as we were meeting with people there and had to then change the appointment location for our church group to meet. Very disappointed and thought about reaching out to owner Sandi but it's not worth my time as I don't want money and there's nothing to 'fix'. It sucks when small places get bigger and then lose a part of themselves. read more

I don't make it over to Dunedin very often but that needs to change with all the great breweries they have now. One of the my favorites of the ones I've been to is Cueni. It's a small, but cute place with seating both inside (at the bar and tables) and outside. For any of their drafts you have the option to get them in a 4, 8, or 16 oz glass which is a nice option if you want to try a few different beers. My choice for the day was the monkey skull porter and I definitely recommend it to anyone who is a fan of porters. But the best part of this place was how welcome I felt as soon as I walked in and how well the bartenders took care of us. I definitely hope to make it back here in the near future. read more

One of our Dunedin breweries stop and by far the favorite. We got the mango blonde ale and buzzed blonde. Exceptional beers. They pay attention to the small details. There's games, custom tables, coat hooks, and something extra in the ladies rooms. Loved this place. Can't wait to come back because the beers are just amazing. read more

I really enjoyed this place. Very friendly and welcome atmosphere that you tend to lose with the bigger breweries. Went mid-day and brought some food and our dog and it was the perfect place for that. The bartender went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. I only had the schwarzbier while here but tried the ipa and stout and they were all very enjoyable. I wish I lived closer because this is the type of place I would come back to often. read more

I visit and keep coming back. The quality of the beer is second to none. For a not real big place they have a great revolving selection and there is always something for everyone. Without exaggeration, the best beer of any craft brewery in the Bay Area! The award winning Trippel is fantastic, as is the IPA, the Monkey Skull Porter, and several other beers I have tried. Awesome new brewery very close to downtown and several other local breweries. We were there on New Year's Eve for a special early opening and ordered a flight of beers. They have a great variety of beer styles, so we ordered a range and most were very good, especially the Belgian-style ales. The space looks great and people are friendly. Love me some Cueni. All beers are wonderful. Staff are great. Place is clean and well kept. Indoor and outdoor seating. Right on the bike trail. Very friendly owners. We brought our Iowa friend and he says "it's quaint." My husband says "you get to sit right next to where the magic happens." Buy a pint coozie for $2. Super cute and the logo is perfect. Specialties

Cueni Brewing Co. specializes in Lagers, IPAs, Belgian beers, and English Ales but we have a mix of all types of beer on tap. Our beer is gluten-reduced so those with gluten intolerances can enjoy beer again. We use an enzyme called Clarity Ferm from White Labs. We also offer wine, cider, hard seltzers, CBD seltzers, THC/CBD seltzersnitro cold brew coffee, wine-based slushies, and soda.

History

Established in 2016.

We are a nano-brewery on the Pinellas trail. We opened on November 17, 2016, the 5th of 8 breweries currently open in Dunedin. Jon Cueni, is the Head Brewer and Co-Owner. He started home brewing in 2011 and quickly became obsessed with all things brewing related. We sold everything and moved from Columbus, Ohio to embark on a new journey.

Cueni Brewing Company is owned by Jon & Bren Cueni. We moved from Ohio to open the brewery. Jon was a homebrewer for five years prior to opening CBC. It quickly became a passion of his. We had dreamed of opening a brewery for many years. We picked Dunedin Florida for our brewery because of the burgeoning beer scene, proximity to the beach and the community feel. We're excited about becoming involved in the community. We look forward to serving you.

We haven't been to Downtown Dunedin in forever (still waiting for Reboot to open so we can play some retro arcade games) but we found ourselves in the area and decided to have a stop in. The interior has an unfinished industrial feel, but it is still inviting. Ample seating in the main bar area which was great for us but might be a little loud for others. There is a smaller room off to the side which is a bit quieter which should appeal to the older set. They have a nice mix of great crafts as well as their own concoctions. I had their red IPA which was very good and the wife raved about the Dubbel. We actually had a great conversation with the man sitting next to us who ended up being a brewer at another local establishment. Lots of fun and would certainly recommend. read more

This brewery is on the smaller side. Perfectly located on the Pinellas trail across from the parking garage in Dunedin. The flavorful beers are the best in town and I would put their Orange cream ale up against any orange beer in the country. They have a very unique flight of 13 beers. It is served on a wood plank in the shape of Florida. It is meant to give you a sample of all 13 beers on tap. But if you want to get all 13 pours of the orange cream ale, they will gladly accommodate. This brewery is very clean and the employees are very friendly and caring. If you like breweries, and you haven't tried this one, you are missing out. There is something for everyone. I do not think they distribute yet. But you can take home a freshly poured growler or crowler. read more

And there's even some outdoor seating for around 20 in a little triangular patio on the side. The decor is casual, with racks of oak barrels in the front, and lots of cool artwork on the walls. There's brewing equipment in the back, and some of the seating is right next to it. And they had an apparently unscheduled improv comedian out on the patio on a friday night (Jan 2026). They were great! And the audience was a good group, too :-) Beverage-wise, and the selection of beers change constantly, so look on the board for the new ones and the ones that are almost gone. We had to get a fun Fra-gee-lay golden lager from the Almost-Gone list. It's a luscious medium-light-flavor beer named for the Major Award in Jean Shepherd's Christmas Story film. We chose a sour, Astral Reign, blueberry with blood orange and some flavor or marshmallow. It was a great taste, plenty of sour balanced with grain, and sweetness smoothed out by light marshmallow. We loved that, so we also got an enormous can of that sour! And someone in our group got a decent red cabernet ... in a brewpub ... sheesh. Well, it tasted better than the house cab at many places! It was busy this Friday evening, with enough seating that we walked right in. This place is easy to get to, in the northeast corner of a strip mall on E.
