The chicken is freaking amazing! The people that wasted their time in line at Popeye's for the chicken sandwich a while back should have come here. These folks have a great chicken sandwich. It's a perfectly fried, dark meat fillet. The chicken "nuggets". Excellent! Perfectly crispy dark meat chicken chunks. Just like anything in life, your experience will also depend who's at work that day. Today, there were several teenage girls that mostly ignored me the whole time I was there. I figured out how to order online and just wait for my order. I finally asked one of the young ladies if my order was ready and she says, "Oh, it's right here." LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEE THE CHICKEN NUGGETS HERE! Make sure you get it with the garlic!! This beats Quickly chicken nuggets by far because I'm getting chicken, not just breading. The aroma from the garlic was heavenly haha. I tried the corn nuggets as well as popcorn shrimp and they were both very good as well but does not beat the nuggets (with the garlic), it's just so good! The owner was sooo nice too. She remembered us and came by to make sure everything was okay and thanked us for coming back and when we left she also stood by the counter and said bye. I mean, customer service is everything. Tried this new bubble tea shop today. The fruitarian tea cocktail was soooo good. It's green tea infused with real fruit (passion fruit, grapefruit and pineapple) , all my favorite fruits , perfect combination. Another item I really like was the Taiwanese Chicken Cutlet, very crispy and good seasoning. Reminds me the taste of Taiwan definitely. Soft opening this week with 10% off for all drinks. Cute place! Customer service was great and nice. I love their variety of options. I got the Taro milk tea with boba. 8/10. I enjoyed it. I then ordered two snacks, corn nuggets 10/10 and calamari rings 7/10. The rings tasted like fish balls rather than actual calamari, but i didn't mind. After I found out Cuckoo's Cafe replaced 7 Coffee & Wine, I wanted to stop by and order a few things with my friend. When we first walked in, we were staring at the menu for about 10 minutes, because there were SO many options to choose from. It was a hard decision for us and we could not figure out what we wanted until then. They have only one size in drinks but the cup is durable and pretty decent. We ordered chicken nuggets, french fries, and popcorn shrimp. Sadly, the card minimum was $8. Usually people don't carry cash especially in this pandemic, so I don't understand why card minimums still exist. But, the food reminded me of Quickly's snacks, except, at Cuckoo's had more batter and it was more fried, so we got full really quick. The service was good, off topic but, one of the workers told me she loved my nails, usually nobody cares and goes along with their day at other places but the fact that my nails had been complemented shows a lot. The interior inside was SO great. Lots of seating! My friend and I came to play our switch and eat our food. Sucks that it didn't work as fast because everyone is using the Internet at Cuckoo's, so we went home. We also ordered to go drinks because the drinks we had were just.... incredible. I got a matcha milk tea, it was just a little bit on the creamier side and it tasted more like milk; maybe if they added more powder it'd be good. Oh, I forgot to add that the boba was SUPER SUPER good and soft. Overall, it was a good place. I will definitely be back, but I will not bring my switch the next time. read more

I had loved coming to this place as the food and drinks are great. They do require masks and there is plenty of space to social distance, and there is hand sanitizer provided. However, at my recent visit, I realized that not all staff was wearing a mask and they do not clean the tables in between customers. A section had just opened up and I went and asked for it to be wiped down. The lady did not understand what I meant and brought out a dustpan and broom. I explained that we needed the table to be sprayed and cleaned and she was very confused. She then later brought out a Tilex bleach spray. Sprayed the table and just left. She didn't even wipe it down. I had to get paper towels and wipe it down myself and then couldn't sit in the booth because the bleach smell was so overwhelming. It was obvious that cleaning down the tables and seats were not normal practice for them. read more

Bubble tea places be upping their game. It used to be cookie cutter spots with different names, though now it's really innovative to see what is around. Here they have a wide variety of bubble tea and snacks. The bubble tea itself is on the expensive side though when I got my bubble tea it made sense as they come in real high class containers (or maybe I'm just sheltered) and a good serving size for those of us who like Texas sized portions. The environment is chill with booths that have semi private curtains, a piano, and a random assortment of board games. I think my only complaint is that they have some weird rule about not giving you a glass of water unless you BYOG (bring your own glass) from an environmental standpoint I am all for it, though feel that it is a bit silly to not have some sort of way to hydrate with non sugar drinks. read more

This cafe is so cute, and it's dine in, an excellent place to catch up with friends after a long quarantine period. The food is amazing, as well as the drinks. I ordered the winter melon milk tea and the fruitarian, and they were both delicious. The taiyaki and chicken sandwich were also very good. I got the spicy chicken sandwich, and it was the perfect amount of spicy. The staff was really friendly and nice and offered many great suggestions on what to get. The total came out to around $22 but the price is worth it for the large portion size. Aside from the delicious food, the service was great. What used to be 7 Coffee is now a new Taiwanese snack and tea shop. The large spacious building was kept mostly the same, along with most of the furniture. The few changes made to the inside decor have been sheer curtains to allow some extra privacy in the booths, a piano (don't know if youre allowed to play it(?), and some extra couches. While the tables aren't socially distanced off, most of the customers that come in seem aware to keep at least 6ft of space from the other patrons. Most seem in an out grabbing their drinks and leaving, but a few stay behind to study in the booths. Major plus for me is how there are plenty of options to sit in a booth as well as an outlet in the booths.I'm usually always carrying my laptop around and I'm not always sure if I have it charged all the way. This is a great spot to study since it seems to accomdate study group as well as if you're just sitting by yourself. Drink/snack wise, I haven't been able to try all on the menu, but I've tried the black milk tea, oolong milk tea, wintermelon milk tea, and the lychee morning dew tea. Depending on who makes the drink it's been delicious while some days it's just okay. I always get boba as my topping, and I think the topping to drink ratio is a little off and I wish they would add just a little more boba to the drinks. For snacks, the chicken nuggest are just like any other nuggets you can get at other tea shops, but the quantity here seems alot compared to the other places. It's nice to know if you're trying to do an all day study event, you could get food and drinks here without losing your table by leaving. **last time I came in, the parking lot was weirdly full? I've been coming to cuckoo for a few months now and I've never seen it this busy on weekend or weekday. I parked my car in the Collision Center like the paper posted on the front of the cafe said (it has now been removed) and was told 30min later that my car would be towed if I didn't move my car since that wasn't an agreement made between the two businesses. I asked the two girls in the front where I should park my car then and they said they weren't sure. A little misleading and confusing, this just made me leave altogether since there was no other parking space in the plaza. read more

I have been coming here for quite a while and every time I did the service was amazing. Although the drinks sometimes tastes different depending on who makes the drinks, but they are always happy to fix the drinks or food for you then and there or your next visit. So don't hesitate to ask!! My favorite drinks are Snap dragon and Wintermelon green tea. The nuggets are amazing as well and if you haven't tried their Cuckcoos chicken sandwich you're missing out. I came here around lunchtime and ordered the Taiwanese Chicken Sandwich and a royal milk tea. I was given an option for spicy or non-spicy, which I opted for spicy without jalapenos. It took around 10 mins for the sandwich to come out which was worth the wait. The crunchiness and spice were perfect for me. It helps that I had my royal milk tea to wash it down. The place itself is pretty spacious and if it wasn't for Covid, I could see more people just chilling here. Overall, I highly recommend this place as it's cheap with plenty of menu items to try.
