Rat infested, with a side of robberies. I've had my locks cut, but nothing missing. A homeless encampment lives in the SA river bed behind the building. Very shady area and a very big rat problem. Make sure you bring gloves and respirators if moving your stuff in or out. read more

The unit I selected online was not suitable for my needs and she was quick to help by replacing with another unit that was affordable and available. She has also been kind enough to check in on my stuff for me when I'm not in town, which is going the extra mile. read more

Not wild about this place. My rent started at $81 and I moved out when it went over $160 a month in less than 2 years. The lights were out in the hall by my space when I got there. I told them about it. They were still out when I left. It made things difficult. When I moved out, there was no one working, so I couldn't check out. After I called a few numbers of the company, and listened to endless choices from the machine operator, to talk to someone about anything but moving out, I finally got a human the second time I tried something else, and told them to tell the manager I had moved out. read more

DO NOT RENT HERE! I had my 10x10 unit broken into TWICE. The cameras are only a live feed and do not record anything. I asked for some type of refund for the month and they said they couldn't do anything about it. They gave me the regional director number, Arthur Salinas and I NEVER heard from him even after leaving several voicemails. It's a joke that I paid almost $300 a month just to have this happen twice. Rats!!!! Began renting a unit here in early October 2022. From the beginning of renting the unit I noticed they had rat poison so they knew they had a problem; thought it was a formality bit it wasn't. After almost a month there I noticed what looked like droppings of an animal when I went.to get my cat carrier. I needed to get rid of it since I noticed another animal haf deficated and urinated in it. Went to office to ask where I can throw it in the trash they said they didn't really have a place and someone would get back to me the following day to let me know if it can be diposed of there. When chatting with the person in the office about the situation she didn't act surprised. I received no call back. Went there another time and noticed another item damaged. Went back to the office and.same thing except with a different woman that didn't act surprised I menchened about damaged items I needed to discard of. On top of that they sent me a notice stating my rent would go up by 80 dollars. I had enough of them not caring and my belongings being damaged so I decided to vacate. Upon removing my items what I saw was that a rat or rats had deficated and urinated on almost all my belongings many of them very sentimental and valuable items and the unit smelled bad of ammonia from the urine of the rat(s). I asked to speak with the manager. When chatting with her she deflected basically saying she's only the messenger of what was happening there and she'd inform the district manager. With it being such a health violation and my lifes worth of belongings being damaged I asked for my money back which they did not give. Two days prior I contacted customer service about the infestation, rent increase and lack of proper maintenance. A.day later apparently the property manager attempted to call me regarding my complaint so when standing there with the manager as she deflected she stated she tried "calling me" yet she left no voice mail. The employees here do not care what happens to your belongings but I'm sure they wouldn't like it happening to them. It was a disgusting experience having to toss much of my belongings and still have to deal with the after math of sifting through more of my belongings to see if I can keep them or not since I have pricey items. I have never dealt with something like this. read more

It's the worst dirty storage and security cameras don't work and there's a lot of thefts there and personal never finds the videos when that happens. Personal is not professional at all, they just don't care. My personal opinion and because of the way they act , I really think they have connections with the thieves, they know who they are,that's why they never find the videos,I'm not the only one there's been more victims of it, I talked with more people who are renting there and has been through this too and they think the same thing as me. Worst of the Worst! I am a storage unit Auction buyer and of all my years of working with storage companies this establishment has to be the worst, ever! I purchased a unit at this location a couple of weeks ago. Upon arriving I was met by a younger man who was so unprofessional I don't understand how or who out him in charge. I walk into the office, this kid is sitting at his desk, foot up on a desk and he is wearing sunglasses in the office. Immediately I knew he was not going to be the brightest light on the Christmas tree. I get there, pay for the deposit and fees and he tells me I'm not allowed to be on the property when he is not there. So, even though other owners have the right to load/unload property to and from their vehicles until 9pm, I could only do that until 6pm. It completely through my plans off because I had other arrangements the next few days during the day. I asked a woman who also worked their if he did this to all auction buyers and she told me "no" and went on to tell me he was just moody. I had just cleaned out a unit at another cube smart and they allowed me to stay until 9pm just like all the other buyers and owners. It was a total scam at this place. Also, they did not provide me with a code to get in or out. So when I left for the first load I could not get back in. They were already gone. So I lost all the stuff in the unit. They then "fraudulently" re-list the unit as a lien sale unit which was a complete violation of the terms and conditions of the Auction company and a crime. They did lot re-list it as a "managers special non mien unit". And the unit sold! So some unlucky guy bought that unit thinking nobody has been through it when I clearly have. I called the Auction company to report it which they took care of the issue. They clearly make false listings and I have an employee who tells me they go through the units before they are listed through the auction. It's a total scam!!! Do not buy here, rent here or even stop by. Trust me! I know! I want a full refund for the unit, I plan to file a small claims action in the company if I don't hear back from corporate. This place is a total rip off. Shame on CubeSmart. The Ugly: - Place is infested with cockroaches - Is really run down - has poor security (outdated) - Units all have this overpowering odor - Drugs and Needles are left around on floor - Concrete Smells Like Urine read more

I've had a bed and some furniture stored here at the cube smart been there for three or four months I have to get rid of my bed and furniture because there is rat crap all over the place my furniture and clothes now smell like mildew. Very surprise how this place has a high score. The price for this place isn't worth it, found other storage places for cheaper. First off, this place gets broken into they pick the locks. There's rats! And other bugs. The place has a very nasty smell, so any belongings you have be prepared to have it have a smell from the storage unit. The staff is very friendly, but one staff member made me feel very uncomfortable. One staff member started hitting on me, which lead to him telling me how big is dick is. And him messaging me calling me baby girl Which right there, this storage unit has gave me nightmares and made me feel very uncomfortable and feel unsafe there. Worst storage facility ever! Walls in indoor units are all made of drywall with chicken coupe wire at the tops of some of the units, which allows people from next unit to look into yours. My unit was broken into by someone picking the lock (was a circle lock too) when police arrived...officer stated that this happens a lot at this facility and it's always the same thing...someone picks the locks and takes items from the units. On the day I moved my remaining items out, another tenant was asking management if they could come to their indoor unit when they were done checking my unit...because....someone cut a hole in the wall (drywall) and stole a washer, dryer and a wheelchair from their unit. Luckily that man may have gotten reimbursed through the crappy insurance that is offered by the facility. I was not reimbursed because there was no sign of forced entry...so keep that in mind if your thinking about storing anything special here. The police officer said it himself, it happens a lot and the locks are almost always picked. read more
