We are down here only in winter so we have been customers for several years and keep a lot of stuff we care about in storage. There has never been a problem. The company keeps making price increases, some pretty extreme, and recently Timothy helped us identify a couple of discounts we qualified for. That definitely has helped keep us here.

Been renting the unit for a year or two. 10'x10' unit started off paying around $80 including insurance they require. About two years later, they raised the fee twice and I'm now paying $135/mo. The first raise, they said they were making updates to units. They added new locks to the doors for added security. From office staff was nice when I did interact with them. Not a bad place to rent from, just not happy about how much the monthly cost increased. Moving my stuff to a storage place closer to my house and cheaper, although I'm sure the new place will raise their fees as well.

I've had a very frustrating experience with Public…read moreStorage, and at this point I am expecting corporate to step in and resolve this promptly & properly. On April 2, I made a manual payment of $53 after being told autopay did not go through. On April 6, I made a few calls to the property however, no one answered. I went in person to confirm the payment was received. The manager, JP, told me everything was processed and my account was fine. Now on April 15, I'm being told that same payment was returned for "insufficient funds" and I suddenly owe nearly $100 in fees. This is inaccurate. I had over $300 in my account at the time, so there is no valid reason the payment should have been returned. If there's proof needed I do have bank statements proving there is no reason the full payment shouldn't have been taken out of my account. What makes this worse is the lack of communication: * Calls go unanswered * Voicemails are not returned * No one follows up unless corporate is contacted * In-person, no real solution is offered I have been proactive every step of the way--making the payment, calling to confirm, verifying it in person, and trying to get answers. Despite that, I'm being charged fees for an issue that is not my fault. At a minimum, all late and additional fees should be waived, yet JP says he's unable to unable or unwilling..... despite proof of funds at that time he was not at all understanding and gave a generic we're sorry you feel that way. I'm sorry you don't like your job sir! Given the inconvenience, misinformation, and time I've had to spend resolving this, I also expect appropriate accommodation, such as a rental credit.i This situation reflects a serious lack of accountability and customer service. I would strongly encourage corporate to review this location's management and processes.

I can not rave enough about this place. The day I went in to pick up my lock/key and finalize my contract, the lady at the front desk (I forgot her name) was so kind, sweet, and so nice!! She showed me how to use the lock that they provide and walk me around to show me how everything works, access etc. You just have to return their lock upon departure- no charge!. This place is spanking NEW, CLEAN, and all units are A/C!! There's plenty of openings to enter to your unit.. whichever entry is closest to yours and she showed me which would be for mine to make it easier for me. Let me tell you.. the process of moving in/moving out of my current home, the stress and hours of endless packing for weeks.. and actual moving on a HOT day, this place made it so effortless that I actually enjoyed this part of the moving process most! We picked UPLIFT because it's close to our current home and it's a quick 5 mins to get to our unit to and from and pricing was very reasonable, hours of entry access reasonable. This was by far the BEST and EASIEST part of my move- taking the stress out of it. I know I only need the unit for one month.. but if I was to need it longer.. it definitely would be my choice long term. This storage facility is clean and the service is impeccable.. and an added plus.. they provide dollies to help you put your stuff to load to your unit so you can push your boxes to your unit if you don't have one.. (shared with others) OMG what a life saver.. it made our move in so easy and effortlessly.. I have to give kudos to management/owner/staff here as I remember the days of moving into a storage unit for my daughter's college summers on end and it was painful!
