Nobody ever likes having to put their whole house in storage. Especially when you're going through some tough times. It seems like just when you see the light at the end of a tunnel (and it's not a train) something else out of our control happens again. Natalie was so helpful & understanding. She worked with me to get caught back up on my storage rent. She was genuinely so sweet & didn't make me feel like I was a loser. Even though I know I'm not, my dignity & integrity gets the best of me when dealing with these situations. Lorelei is also very helpful. And has gone above & beyond for me during the time I've been renting from them. The only thing I don't agree with is them raising the rent. I was given a price when I started & I've gotten letters in the mail stating that my rent has gone up. I looked into this & it seems when they have multiple units available they charge you less. As soon as they are full they raise the rent. Other than that. I recommend Cube Smart. read more

The location is great, right off the freeway. It's in the middle of a neighborhood and seems pretty safe. Love that they stay open pretty late compared to other storage businesses around. They keep the place clean at all times. I've been renting a unit 3 months now and have never seen trash or left behind garbage which is pretty impressive to me for a storage unit business. Tammy and Kenneth are great! Friendly and easy going, their customs service is highly appreciated. I've never had a better experience renting out a storage unit and the monthly rates are competitive. After 2 1/2 years of paying 250 monthly I had to take all my belongings to the DUMP as my unit was filled with rats and rat droppings. As I moved out you could see them Running down the halls. 6 months ago I was in the unit and everything was fine no droppings, nothing! I DIDN'T HAVE ANY FOOD STORED IN THERE EITHER. My couch had been eaten and was used for making a nest. My mattress stored at the top of the unit was covered with urine and feces. Management didn't seem phased by my complaint and just told me to go through my private insurance "if they cover it". They were adamant that I remove everything and sweep and clean as well. Things that had been kept in my family for 100 years destroyed. You can't replace these things. read more

I've been a tenant for about three years now. They keep raising the rent on me. When I told them there was a rat problem they brushed it off. Now there's rat droppings and pee on my stuff and the rent keeps going up. Went to the office to complain and once again, they were out on their lunch break. Second time that's happened when I needed to talk to them. There's also no trash or no dumpster for tenants so I have to cart the pee and poop soaked items out in my car to dump them elsewhere. Not impressed. My rent started at $140. Now it's up to $245 a month. The only improvement they've made is replacing the rollup doors now my door opens more easily, but there is a gap at the bottom, probably how the rats are getting in. The people in the office are kind and pleasant to talk to, but unresponsive to the issues at hand. Seems like a big hustle to me. Wouldn't recommend this place. Update: after reaching out to help@cubesmart.com I received a call from my CubeSmart location. They asked if I would be available for them to spray poison in my unit. I explained that I didn't want poison on my stuff in addition to rat droppings, and that I would just move out. The damage is done, and there was acknowledgment of their negligence. Typical corporate treatment. They made the phone calls so they could maintain the appearance of doing something about it, while actually just trying to get off the phone as soon as possible and avoid any financial liability. Never got an email response from help@cubesmart.com because I'm sure they didn't want to put anything in writing. This place is greedy. I'm moving out. read more

If I could I would give them NO stars, I'm very disappointed. I had a reservation with Robert (Manager) for a 10x10 unit for 9/13/19. I was going to pay early today 9/12 and found out Sarah his Assistant gave my unit away. Although she apologized and offered a different unit (broken roll up door and holes in the rafters were critters can enter)......do I need to say more? I refused their offer, I was also offered to go to Walnut or Diamond Bar? Really I live in Ontario, 10 minutes away....ridiculous! I suggested they give me a 10 x 10 that was available at the price I was quoted, but because you can drive up to it, it costs more, so I was told no. You would think they screwed up so it's their job to make it right.....obviously not. read more

So dissappointed with Ontario Location. Your stuff is not secured at this location. No camera, no alarm nothing. 2022 a lot of storage was burglarized including mine. They keep on increasing there fee but no security upgrade. then early this year our company's storage was burglarized also. still no action and nobody was held responsible because there is no camera or CCTV. I guess you need to buy higher insurance coverage if you want to choose this location. read more

I came to this storage facility based off the reviews , BUT BEWARE !! I had my belongings here for close to two years. I went to move everything out to find all my stuff filled with termites , rodents & Water damage to my belongings. Such a sad thanksgiving weekend. I lost everything & when I brought it to the on site managers attention all she did was give me the insurance pamphlet but had nothing more to say. Because she didn't know anything about the insurance but made sure to tell me she doesn't know what it covers.No concern what so ever. And the insurance I paid for doesn't cover anything only partial water damage.. I have reached out to get a paper trail of all my receipts for the two years I paid for and she would not give me it. She states she has to ask the District manager Tod Haynes for permission , which is wrong because as a customer I should be able to receive copy's of my own receipts. When a customer chooses a storage it's so that they know they have a safe place to hold they're life belongings. This is not the place to do it especially for a long period of time. You WILL be very let down. read more

I visited the Ontario location today and I was not disappointed. After going to several other storage facilities, I was about to give up. I thought I'd have to get rid of or sell all of my stuff with the prices I was bring given. But Robert and Edward at Cubesmart were able to help me out by showing me around, offering me some awesome deals to get me within my budget, explaining everything to me so there weren't any hidden fees or surprises later on down the line and offering me great advise. I recommend this place. I initially reserved a rental at Public Storage due to that's the only one I knew of. I moved and had the movers to take my furniture there. When I arrived I was able to look at the storage space. Omg there 10 X 20 was upstairs and I had to use a lift that was to small for my belongings and the entrance door was small as well. I DARE NOT have the movers to work even harder than they have been. This was not what I was told by Public Storage call center rep. I was told I was guaranteed a lower storage. Of course none was available. I then remembered seeing CubeSmart storage while scrolling thru internet a few days ago. I contacted and the call center rep was friendly and understood my situation. It was easy to set up with contactless purchase. They had what I needed and they gave first month promotion. I arrived to the location and they had the storage already ready to store. Once I got there the movers decided to tell me I needed bigger storage. Ohhh boy.. The staff constantly checking the property talk about good timing. I asked her if they had a larger storage. She immediately found a larger storage unit. Talk about good customer service. Only for the movers to tell me I needed a larger unit than this. Ohhh boy again. The staff advised I could rent 2- 10X20's after checking my property load. She located 2 storage units and gave me the first month's rent using the promotion. It's not to pricey for the price of two. If I could not give any stars I would. Recently had our toy hauler and side by side stolen from this location. We used this location due to no availability near my home. Bad mistake . We went to pick up our trailer for a fun weekend and when we arrived to space 9 it wasn't there. Went into the office to report it and told that they are not liable and best of luck. She (Tammy I think) told us we can go to the police department to file a report. She was able to let us know when it was last in it's spot. Asked if she could pull camera footage but said she was unable at that time and someone get back to us. Well Tammy got back today and said "for some reason there's a few hours missing on their tapes when our trailer was stolen and they don't have footage." They have round the clock camera surveillance and you need a code to get in and out but for some reason they are missing footage from when my property was taken. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PROPERTY HERE!!!! read more

I rent a parking space for my Semi truck, I'm very pleased with the way the complex is kept up and willingness to keep the customer happy. Lauralei always has a smile on her face and has time to answer questions I might have. Also see her going around property with broom cleaning. Prices are a little outta control. I mean realistically they go up when business is good. And down when it's not. New management took over and came in. Raises the prices. Changed all the staff (majority) and just made it hard to want to continue renting from here. They don't offer any price match or specials so I decided to take my business elsewhere. I hate when new management comes and decides higher prices are needed for the exact same unit. Units are broken into frequently. Homeless or semi homeless people are always here. Lots of people living in these storages. I come almost daily and the same people will be parked in the gate in their storage from open to close. And they allow this. Which brings in the riff raff and people who are looking to steal. Even after the break in they don't beef up security. They don't have any worries as long as people keep renting and paying. In my opinion if your gonna charge more do more than paint the wood. Still the same square footage regardless of the color. read more

I was here with my husband putting some things in the storage and the lot manager opens the gate as we get into the drive way. We then entered the gate and the lot manger starts to yell at us about not entering the code even tho she had opened the gate for us We told her we will enter it when we leave and went to our cube. She then follows us to our unit and continues to shout and yell at us from the door of our unit. My husband then steps outside of the unit to talk to her. She drives off in her golf cart as we start to speak to her. As she drives away she starts screaming and yelling that we are threatening her, when we didn't even get a chance to say anything to this lady at that point. My husband asked her why she refused to speak with us now, after following us to our unit. We decide to leave after all the harassment. As we enter our code to leave the facility, she was waiting at the gate for us so that she could scream at us one more time calling us a. "BITCH" , "DUMB BITCH" , and "WHITE BITCH" multiple times . She is a bad person and this should be brought to someone's attention. This is ridiculous and I should not have to write this review . We will not stand for this type of customer service and racism. read more

My wife and I needed to store our stuff while looking for a new home and we came across this place online. They had the storage capacity we needed and it was pretty close to us so we went with it. After confirming our reservation, I received a call all the following day and the person I spoke with was very nice and asked if I had any questions. I did and all of my questions were answered. On the day of the actual move, I was welcomed by great people who provided great service. Overall, I am very satisfied with this company and I would recommend them to people I know in a heartbeat. read more

This place is a complete joke. They claim to have great customer service when in fact it's almost nonexistent. The facility manager is almost impossible to get a hold of. And every issue that I brought up to said manager - Robert Baray - was "out of his hands". They denied me access to my unit for a solid month for reasons which I am still unaware, because they will not disclose those reasons to me. Long story short they took my money, and denied me access to my belongings; which in turn has cost me thousands of dollars because of contracted jobs I could not complete since I couldn't access the tools needed that were in the unit, which is my means of making money. In addition, they unlawfully prematurely terminated my lease, even though I was paid in full. PS Lynette S is an employee for Cubesmart so the five star review on here is a lame and desperate attempt at boosting their ratings. read more

We recently decided to put things stored in the garage into storage. I spent hours looking for storage units on line. Many have negative reviews. We decided on CubeSmart as it is straight up from our house (if you don't know where it is you may have a little trouble finding it the first time), and they were having a "special" on fees. There were a few glitches normal to such a place (like the gate not opening, or the reps being busy and having to wait my turn-don't they know I am the important one? lol) but other than that, no worries. You have to buy or have their locks as they require a specific one; they require insurance in addition to the unit fee; and their units are not individually alarmed; nevertheless, someone is there all the time even though there are specific office hours. The hours to access the unit are more than generous. The rep manager was really nice and helpful. They have carts you can use to get things from car to unit. My only problem is we wanted the storage so badly we just threw things in as we came to them. Now we will have to pull things out to put large things on the bottom. Best to have a truck so boxes can be itemized and marked and placed correctly the first time BUT we goterdone. Haven't had any issues. I recommend this place. read more
