I researched a few different storage spaces because initially I felt a little iffy about the whole thing. I'd heard horror stories about spaces being broken into and things being stolen, so I was nervous. Then I found Center Road Storage in Brunswick back in '05, and have been using that space on and off ever since with no problems. The space is huge for a decent price, the security is great (keypad code access to the gated facility), and I can get in and out quickly anytime. There's a dumpster on-site for when I've outgrown things or need to toss something, and the owner-operator, Mark, is a really nice guy. The only downside is, If you're late on your payment, rare an occasion as that may be, the fee is almost half the monthly rental price, so watch out! In terms of storing my things securely for a decent price in a safe place, however, Center Road gets 5.

I showed up to pick up the truck. Everything seemed to be going fine and then they asked for a third phone number. I didn't have a third phone number to give them. They argued, and I explained to them that I had nobody that wasn't at work that I could give them a phone number to. The manager decided to cancel my reservation and send it to a place that 2 single white women should not enter down in Cleveland someplace. There are other rentals closer that he could have chosen. When I called customer service (while I stood there in line) they told me that there were other forms of ID he could have asked for. All she asked for was a phone number. He did not give us any other options. The woman at customer service said there was a list of things that pops up. When that phone number request pops up. He could have asked for any of those things. And we actually had a couple of them. The way he spoke to us was condescending and rude. I was at that location 2 weeks ago, rented a truck and a storage space, had absolutely no problems. The people were so friendly and went out of their way to help and get me what I needed. I will never go back to U-Haul again.

I had 15 years of prior experience with Weleski managing all domestic mobility with my former employer, a Big Four Accounting Firm. My experience during those 15 years as well as recent personal move was outstanding! Our team from Ohio to Kentucky could not have been more professional, courteous and understanding of our stress moving to a new area. Our move occurred between Christmas and the end of the year, so stressful would be an understatement! Our Ohio home sold in 24 hours and required we vacate prior to the end of 2023. The team on our move and their understanding of the speed that our move had to be completed was exceptional. The packing, loading and unloading was amazing and absolutely nothing was broken during the move. I can't say enough how pleased we were with every phase of the move and Weleski's commitment to customer service and quality. I have never been late on any payments or if I forgot to mail it I'd call the manager or she'd call me. I totally missed sending in our payments this time but I usually get a friendly reminder call because their computer program sends me late notices all the time due to their system not being able to process 2 months payments at a time and I've been told to ignore them by the manager. I am going to assume their is a new manager and possibly the friendly customer service, open communication may be lost as with so many businesses these days. You'd think if its a first offense after paying ahead a month for years you'd get a call before they just destroy your locks and forbid you access. I am so disappointed right now in their customer service at this time that I would certainly not recommend this location but hopefully things will change when they open on Monday.
