Find another storage company, any other company. Cubesmart doesn't actually have a customer service line or any representatives that will help resolve issues that arise, and trust me, issues with this deplorable company arise. First red flag should have been the fact that when I tried to rent a unit and move my stuff in, there was no one physically in the office nor anyone answering the phones even remotely to answer questions and clarify things. Second red flag was that after moving in, the front door's security was broken and literally anyone off the street could access the building. But I desperately needed a place to store my stuff. At the time, I was told the price I had was what would remain for the duration of my renting the unit and the reason that I couldn't get a better price was that it was the summer, and that the lower prices are in the winter. Accordingly, I was shocked to find my price increased, and more so, without any warning. I was told a notice was mailed, but to this day, I NEVER got such a notice. I called customer service, the national number, and was told to get in touch with the physicial store I was at because they don't have control over that. I asked, what is the purpose of the customer service line if they can't help provide service or resolution to issues, they said "we're just here for security issues." the fact the price increased during the winter months, which are notorious for having cheaper prices, makes no sense. Speaking with other customers at that location, who had rented units for over a year, they told me their price they had never changed, so it's incredibly out of the norm that my unit increased. Also, this is more than likely a health hazard. There was a dead bird in front of one of the units that was there for a couple months, indicating no one is cleaning the floors or doing any sort of inspection in the building. read more

If you need a storage this is not the one. We haven't been able to get in our storages in over a month. I have called several times and they always say we have someone working on restoring the lights. The storm barely hit Macon and they claim the lights are out due to the storm. Then someone broke into the storages a few weeks ago. I just hope my things are in tact. read more

if I could rate this facility as a zero I would. This facility has no security precautions whatsoever. Tried contacting the district manager no response. Tried even sending a message through the manager at the facility but all I got was "I will have the district manager to reach out" Main entrance door into the facility does not work been inoperable for over 60 days now you have to enter in from the back of the building. Inside lights does not work and it smells like it is something dead inside towards the back. You can tell this facility does not have frequent cleanings done the floors are filthy and you can visibly see small roaches in the facility. I can not believe I pay monthly for a trashy storage space and they have the nerve to send rate increases through the mail every few months.. Do better that place will soon become a target for crime the lack of security there. I should've know turning into this place having to drive through those bent concrete poles. You can't even turn into a decent parking lot it all is just so raggedy. read more
