This being said, it shouldn't surprise anyone that I found myself at a U-Haul picking up my truck and trailer. Now, what did surprise me was the level and quality of customer service that I received at this particular U-Haul location. I was lucky enough to have the manager on duty, Sam Smith, assist me with my pickup. She was friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly good at her job. While loading my car onto the trailer she noticed that a different style of trailer might suit my automobile better and suggested I consider switching. She advised taking a trailer that keeps all four wheels off of the ground to avoid any needless wear and tear on the vehicle. After taking a moment to research, weigh options and think about it I realized that she was correct and followed her advice. And boy am I glad I did. For a negligible price I was able to avoid putting needless miles on my vehicle and/or possibly damaging it in transit. She quickly and deftly handled changing my order, swapping the trailers, and getting me on my way. My whole interaction with Sam was an excellent example of great customer service. My only worry is that she has set the bar unrealistically high for the next time I visit a U-Haul location. If you have the option, I highly recommend picking up or dropping of your rentals here.

Notified management and they stated they checked the security cameras during the time frame of our last visit and the visit when the damage was noticed and they claim not to have seen anything. I went back to check on camper again several weeks later and now it looks as though someone was attempting to cut through the sheet metal. We will no longer be storing here.

We rented from the Warner Robins, GA location for a year, all was fine until we went to clean our…read moreunit out in November 2023. We found that our whole unit was INFESTED with rats and a lot of our belongings were ruined including mattresses, bedding, couch, clothes etc. we notified the Manager on duty to come down to our unit. (Anika). She came down was very apologetic said she had never seen anything this bad, informed us that a unit close to us had, had food stored and attracted the rats. She took SEVERAL pics and told us she would inform corporate and see what they could do as far as compensation and to leave the ruined items in the storage unit. so we moved what we could and left the ruined things. Fast forward to Feb 2024. I have called several times in the past 4 months to find out what is happening with the compensation. continue to get told "corp hasn't gotten back to me". To now being told that, that manager no longer works there and they have no recollection of this matter and that we never moved out and we owe $400+. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE AS FAR AS CUSTOMER SUPPORT. no communication, no accountabilty
