World Storage has been there for me since I moved to GA. While we have seen some staff changes recently the new staff is even friendlier than the last. These ladies always go above and beyond to make sure that all of our concerns are handled swiftly and professionally. Even through COVID everyone still brings their smiles to work under their masks of course and the storage facilities and inside office areas are alway immaculately clean. This storage has been easy to set up online and got a call to verify everything it was seem less. The grounds are clean and secured. Cameras on the premises. I feel very safe when I go to my unit. I don't see debris or anything on the grounds read more

We've used this storage facility for approximately 7 months now and it's been fantastic. Our unit is climate controlled and it's always very comfortable inside. Security is great. Office staff is helpful. Only downside is that there's no restroom available if the office is closed. They offer discounts for paying in advance and I believe for military as well. From what I've seen, they're also expanding. We're pleased with our experience so far. read more

I would not recommend using this storage facility. It is hard to get in and out of the units, especially towards the back it is very narrow. It is closed Sunday and there is no restroom outside the office so if you move on that day you are out of luck. It is cash or check only, no autobilling so you have to remember to pay every month. We did get locked out of our unit one weekend after hours which had never happened before at other storage facilities we had used. No trash can on the site that we could find. Lots of spiders, I found spider webs, egg sacks, and live spiders in my stuff when we moved out. Overall I did not find it easy to work with considering this is a military town and people have no choice but to put things in storage due to unforeseen orders and circumstances. read more

Established in 2002.

World Storage was developed to help our community be able to store their items in a secure and convenient location with reasonable rates. The first phase was built in 2002 and as business grew we expanded throughout the years becoming Middle Georgia largest storage facility.

I have been working for McGlamry Properties for over 7 years and have enjoyed every minute! Since coming to World Storage in 2015 I have come to appreciate and respect the storage industry immensely. This being said, it shouldn't surprise anyone that I found myself at a U-Haul picking up my truck and trailer. Now, what did surprise me was the level and quality of customer service that I received at this particular U-Haul location. I was lucky enough to have the manager on duty, Sam Smith, assist me with my pickup. She was friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly good at her job. While loading my car onto the trailer she noticed that a different style of trailer might suit my automobile better and suggested I consider switching. She advised taking a trailer that keeps all four wheels off of the ground to avoid any needless wear and tear on the vehicle. After taking a moment to research, weigh options and think about it I realized that she was correct and followed her advice. And boy am I glad I did. For a negligible price I was able to avoid putting needless miles on my vehicle and/or possibly damaging it in transit. She quickly and deftly handled changing my order, swapping the trailers, and getting me on my way. My whole interaction with Sam was an excellent example of great customer service. My only worry is that she has set the bar unrealistically high for the next time I visit a U-Haul location. If you have the option, I highly recommend picking up or dropping of your rentals here.

Notified management and they stated they checked the security cameras during the time frame of our last visit and the visit when the damage was noticed and they claim not to have seen anything. We found that our whole unit was INFESTED with rats and a lot of our belongings were ruined including mattresses, bedding, couch, clothes etc. we notified the Manager on duty to come down to our unit. (Anika). She came down was very apologetic said she had never seen anything this bad, informed us that a unit close to us had, had food stored and attracted the rats. She took SEVERAL pics and told us she would inform corporate and see what they could do as far as compensation and to leave the ruined items in the storage unit. so we moved what we could and left the ruined things. Fast forward to Feb 2024. I have called several times in the past 4 months to find out what is happening with the compensation. continue to get told "corp hasn't gotten back to me". To now being told that, that manager no longer works there and they have no recollection of this matter and that we never moved out and we owe $400+. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE AS FAR AS CUSTOMER SUPPORT. no communication, no accountabilty

Such a great company! Friendly, clean, and definitely reasonably priced! Their staff has always answered any and all questions that I have! When we were able to get the one free use of a 15 box truck with our unit (which is amazing) Cassy helped me tremendously and never got irritated with my questions (even though I had a lot!). She even called after we dropped the truck off to make sure I had piece of mind we did everything correctly with the truck and was not going to be charged! We have been clients of world storage for almost 2 years. I love the ladies upfront as they are always pleasant and quick to assist with any needs I may have. I also really appreciate the gate with the remote on the RV side of the facility. It makes it Siri easy to get in and out with our RV. I often get clothes back just as dirty as I brought them in - even when I point out stains. I once had alterations done and they did a good job very quick. It was a last minute rush request and the woman was so nice to work with me and made sure I had my dress back in time for a formal event out of time. It was a two day turn around and I truly appreciate that. But I am often underwhelmed and disappointed with the appearance of my drycleaning when I get my clothes back. After the second time with clothes still damp .I just started to add my own money to save time and the headache. Won't be back.
