    Every time I've shipped things from here or had to drop off returns there is an issue. It's an…read moreabsolute nightmare. Dropping my engineering kit off at any other UPS or FedEx is never an issue. I come to this location and there is always a problem. Amazon returns forget about it. They have tried to charge me multiple times for extra packaging even when I have had everything boxed and labeled. They just want to over charge/ make money off of you in any way possible. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Business owners response is hilarious. Sir you are trying to charge for packaging when the return is already free and my engineering kit is covered by company insurance and a shipping account. You guys just have terrible customers service and don't have any training.

I received it on Saturday March 14th and initiated the return process in which I received a QR code from Amazon. I went to the UPS store the following day on Sunday, March 15th and the young man at the counter scanned my QR code and said you're good to go. I thought wow, that was quick and fast service and left the store a happy customer. That was short lived! Not thinking to check my phone soon as I left the store to see if I had received a confirmation stating my return to Amazon was initiated, later that evening I noticed I never received any message regarding my return of the ink cartridge. I contacted Amazon and they have no record of any return for me from UPS. I called UPS and the gentleman that answered the phone said I should've received a confirmation that my return was initiated. So my questions are...what did he scan and what happened to my ink cartridge? This leaves me wondering is this some kind of scam? I'll know next time if I return something to ask for a paper receipt and check my phone immediately. I'll chalk this up as a loss, but if you're reading this, make sure you get a confirmation before you leave the store.

Seriously, I could not say enough good things about how Hassan and his team helped me navigate the process of obtaining compensation for damage during shipping. Without a doubt, I will continue to use this business every chance I get. Even though I had purchased insurance, Hassan had the foresight to proactively take pictures of the package as it left his store on the carrier's truck. Through this single action alone, I was able to prove the package was in good condition at the start of its journey -- quite unlike its state at the end of the journey! The key here is that the service at Postal Place, and just plain old-fashioned thoughtfulness at this business, is a value that I could never have put a price on for my very expensive shipment. They were flexible with us as we had to reschedule due to weather, and had several complicated moves that were handled very well. As with any move, we took care ourselves to wrap things, communicate our needs and expectations, but I would do that with any mover. Ask questions, clarify and explain what you want. All furniture was wrapped carefully with moving blankets and secured and all breakables were treated with care. I've never seen a team of people work so hard!

They backed their truck into my retaining wall, immediately pissing off my neighbors before a single box was moved. They then showed up with half the crew promised, which should have been my first clue about what was coming next. What should have been a straightforward move from a 3-bedroom home took 13 hours, and they still couldn't finish--forcing them to come back the next morning, while I was under extreme pressure due to a pending home sale. With 18 hours to be out of my house, Zip used the situation to triple the price, leaving me completely cornered. At one point, the police showed up at my door to question one of the movers for 30 minutes. Later, they left a single worker alone for SIX HOURS to finish the job. Completely unprofessional and unsafe. Once my belongings were picked up, I received zero updates for six weeks. No proactive communication. No tracking. No accountability. I had to escalate through three different people just to get basic help or information. And when all was said and done, Zip did absolutely nothing to make it right--no refund, no meaningful apology, no remediation--other than claiming they fired the person who originally quoted me, which does nothing for the damage, stress, or financial harm they caused. This was easily one of the most stressful and mishandled service experiences I've ever had, at a time when reliability mattered most. If you value transparency, professionalism, or basic human decency during a move--look elsewhere.

    I really wanted to like Manny and his crew and he's a nice guy but unfortunately things went wrong…read morefrom the beginning. The truck was too small for our 4 bedroom house which he knew about ahead of time, 2 trips of 1 hour each had to be made for a local move, there weren't enough blankets and packing/ protective supplies, and his crew was not very careful with our walls, railings, and ceilings resulting in marks, scratches, and paint removal in many places. I spent 3 hours the next day fixing and painting our walls because we were putting our house on the market. * I will note we had tight townhouse stairs and box springs so some marks were to be expected but places not tight at all were covered in marks and they managed to damage 3 small nightstands and a bookshelf less than probably 20 lbs. While he did give us one of the lowest prices, beware in this case sometimes you get what you pay for. I watched as they loaded the second truck full without wrapping or protecting any of the furniture and as a result most of that load ended up scratched and damaged. As I arranged my furniture I found gouges, scratches and one shelf on a bookshelf was completely cracked. Overall about 4-5 pieces were damaged that I've found so far, and sadly I expect to find more as time goes on and I continue unpacking. When asked to rectify the situation, about his insurance he claims he carries, or for any sort of compensation for the damages, he refused and told me we did not sign a contract with him and to have a goodnight. Buyer Beware. Don't move with this company if you actually like your stuff.

Manny himself answered my call right away (and he answered every time I called), he was able to decide quickly that he could help with my project, and he quoted me a very reasonable price. The day before the move, I called to confirm with him and he assured me they would arrive on time and ready, which they did! In years past, I've had numerous Movers who show up late and disorganized. But Manny Helper was ON TIME and got to work quickly. They packaged up my furniture very well and moved it down THREE flights of stairs with zero damage to walls and furniture. I was very impressed with Manny Helper. My moving job was small, but I wouldn't hesitate to hire Manny to handle a large move. Since I was driving from out of state up to Maryland, I was nervous working with a moving company I had not met in person. My fears were not necessary. Manny Helper did the job perfectly and I was so relieved and happy. I would definitely hire them again and I've already recommended them to a lady I know who is moving away from Frederick in June.
