Every place near my friend or I seemed to be out of trailers. I put in a reservation at one place and the U-Haul corporate customer service called and said the trailer wasn't available. However, there was one at YourSpace Storage (YSS) at Ballenger Creek. I said that was fine and my reservation was finalized. Come the day of, I'm scrambling to get out of work early to make the hour-long trip up there to pick up the trailer. Of course, it's rush-hour, and traffic is pretty bad. I'm rushing, taking every bypass and shortcut I can think of trying to make my 5:30pm reservation time, which is pretty much impossible. As I'm on my way, I give YSS a call and on the line is this warm, friendly person filled with positive energy. "Hello! This is Lindsay at YourSpace Storage at Ballenger Creek. How may I help you?" I explain that I have a reservation and that I am running late and was extremely apologetic. She understood my predicament and said she would be waiting for me. I finally I get there at 6pm, right at closing time, and she wasn't mad or anything. She had a smile on her face the whole time and worked with me to get the trailer rented quickly (I didn't want to hold her up any longer). Within 10 minutes, the paperwork was finalized and I was able to help my friend and everything was great. I really appreciate Lindsay's courtesy and compassion. Then today as I was walking off the property the property manager harassed me telling me I'm banging on his office door with no proof it was me and was definitely racially motivated because he told me it was hard for him to pronounce my name when I first checked in. at this point I refuse to use the bathroom on site due to being harassed everytime I access the storage unit and it being an issue for just renting a storage space wouldn't recommend to anyone I suggest purchasing a U-Haul next door.

The first time the customer service person gave me a plastic sheet and made excuses about the roof construction. I am storing high value art in a climate-controlled unit and I have water dripping onto my work. I was told the problem would be addressed. For a period of time all was well until I came in to find the leak was worse and had drenched my art and the floor of my unit. I was then moved to a new unit and while completing the paperwork the clerk bragged about the number of locations they have, something like more than the number of Taco Bell locations in the US. And I'm thinking, if your company is making that much money, enough for you to brag, then I expect to have a unit with no issues. He then proceeded to ask me to leave a positive review, as if his bragging made my experience any better. I would NOT use this facility again. I'm terminating my contract with them this month.

Right off either I70 or I270, which is why we chose this place to store are…read moremany precious treasures... ok the junk we have from downsizing from a five bedroom to a two bedroom. They have a special where you get the first month free. Now this can mean the first month where you move your junk errr treasures into the place. Or in our case the first full month after you've moved whatever it is into your unit. We chose the latter. You do need to buy their basic insurance to be eligible for this offer, but that's $14. So $14 or $140. It's a no brainer! They have carts to help you transport your... stuff to your locker. 6 carts in total. 4 flat beds and 2 of those carts you tend to see at Lowe's fir transporting lumber. The place is very clean too. Another huge bonus you don't want your... stuff to be stored in a dirty facility do you? Happy so far. Now who wants to buy some gym equipment.
