Jason at the Whitestone location was amazing - he walked me through everything and I was in and out in 15 min - love the app technology

I have been renting here for 3 years and recently the gate is always open as is the door to the units. On 6/28/21 we went and discovered that the gates and doors were still unsecured and now the elevator is not working- making it impossible to get my stuff out of my 3rd floor unit. When I tried to contact the office on both 6/28 & 6/29 - crickets. I am currently waiting on a return call from the district manager after contacting the company customer service. 7/6/21 Still waiting on a call from district manager, went into the office and finally got to talk to someone who couldn't really do anything for me - said the mgr of the facility would reach out to us - haven't heard from that person - still not pleased with service. read more

When you move into a cubesmart, you ARE NOT guaranteed a consistent rate. I had my unit for a little over two years, and in those 2 years I had multiple price increases, always without notice. When I complained, the district manager reduced my rate marginally, and then increased it 13% two months later. When I moved out, I was paying 40% more than when I moved in. The district manager said "It's kind of like buying an airline ticket, the more popular the flight the higher the price". Except you're already on the plane with all your stuff, then the raise the price. Also, the back door *seems* secure, but you can push it open without a code. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. Rats RUINED almost everything we stored here in 3 different storage facilities, and the manager didn't care at all. I have dozens of disgusting pictures where rats chewed through and nested and peed and pooped on everything. MANAGEMENT DOES NOT CARE. It's disgusting. When we were moving out, a massive rat ran right by us. Avoid this place. EDIT: the district manager got involved, and he was great. If he does what he said he would do (and he seems 100% like he will), I'll be changing the rating. read more

Friendly. Place is new and updated. Locations is convenient to where we live which is 5 mins away. Love the climate control storage.

Horrible customer service. Called to confirm my rate and the manager said I canceled the reservation which I did not and the rate would be higher. I was alright with that but they they required me to use their insurance instead of using my own and required a declaration page from my insurance. Called my insurance who said they could email or fax over. Cube smarts manager said they couldn't open email attachments and they didn't have a working fax or printer. Decided to go with public storage and would look at the cube smart reviews on Facebook or other review sites if you consider using them. read more

I usually don't go out of my way to write reviews however this one I feel pretty passionate about and am very upset with the customer service at this location. I was really excited to use this facility to store my stuff over the summer while I was in between apartments. It was air conditioned, the manager I signed my agreement with (management changed mid way through my use of the unit) was nice and willing to work with me, and the price was affordable for the couple of months I thought I'd be using it. However, this has turned into one of the worst experiences I've had. My apartment lease doesn't begin until a few days after my payment for the storage unit is renewed for the month. I knew this going into the agreement however the manager at the time, Ron, told me he'd work with me on this problem so that I wouldn't have to pay a full months charge when only using the storage unit for 4 days after the payment was due. Well after the management changed in June or July. I tried to go by there around lunch time one day and no one was there...during business hours when they were supposed to be open. Then when I called to talk to them they would not follow through on what I was told. Not only that, they were not willing to offer any sort of assistance. I believe this is horrible customer service! Good customer service would be willing to work with you to find a solution. It is absolutely ridiculous to charge some $120+ to use a storage unit for 4 days. On top of this, I called to cancel my automatic payments in preparation for my move out date. Well I just checked my email and the lady I spoke to at the store cancelled the automatic payment prior to my move out date, which I specifically asked for them to be cancelled after I was charged for August. This required me to call in for my payment and incur the convenience fee of paying over the phone. Plus my payment could've been late! Luckily they sent an email warning... I will never use a CubeSmart again. I will never recommend a CubeSmart to anyone. It is ridiculous to me that they wouldn't care about their customers to work with them. Without customers you have no business. I work in a customer service department for a large company and our first rule is to always accommodate and work with the customer to find a solution that works for both the company and them. This did not happen here and I am not happy with this service. Once I get my stuff out, I will not be back. read more

Tammie at CubeSmart was the sweetest and nicest person!!! We were tired and hot from moving my son's apartment contents to the truck. At Cube Smart , she checked us in promptly and gave us cold water. She walked us through the contract efficiently and let us get to our unloading as quickly as possible.
