Don't do it. I am renting the largest size unit. Originally rented at 180 dollars, it now costs 350. As a long term customer you won't get a deal. The storage space shares parking with a truck rental facility. Trucks speed through the area without regard to the foot traffic. It is dangerous. After covid, the place is no longer well maintained. There is evidence of rodents on site. I informed the desk who casually told me toss rodent droppings without regard to the health hazard and without offering a solution. The facility unlike other facilities, offers no hand trucks to move your stuff, nor trash cans to prevent dumping their stuff. read more

For the sake of this review I had to rate our experience in which would be ZERO stars instead of ONE star! My husband rented a unit a little over two years ago at this location. Payments were always made. Never was placed in auction. To my husband's surprise he goes to check on his property and noticed his key doesn't work on the lock. He asks an employee the reason for the new lock. They tell him due to the balance on the account. He pays the balance. They remove the lock. He decides to go back a week later to get something out of his unit and once again a new lock has been installed. He then asks a maintence employee the reason for the lock. They tell him his stuff was placed in auction. The employee clips the current lock and ALL of my husband's belongings are gone!! The photos is what was left in the unit and outside of the unit. My husband was ROBBED!! And for sure this was an inside job!! We refuse to let this go! Something has to be done about these thieving employers at this location. Please take this situation into consideration when looking for storage space. As far as I'm concerned everyone at this location is GUILTY and the cops are so use to this happening. I had to move out of my apartment, so I stored all my belongings in this CubeSmart unit. Went there last week and all my belongings were stolen from me. I asked to talk to manager and he did the minimum to help. Just told me to call insurance and went to hide in the back. They have cameras, security codes and staff but apparently no one can recall people moving mattresses, TVs, furniture etc... They have cameras in the elevator but not by the hall ways A worker there told me they have new hires every few weeks who work a week or 2 there. BEWARE I gave cubesmart 1-months notice that I would be moving out January 14th, 2022. HRA was 30 days late in paying the bill, so I gathered up some extra funding and sent it in myself to avoid auctioning while I was in the process of moving out. On the 31st day, HRA finally sends a payment, but now they have received an extra $111 from me that I barely could spare at the time - making it paid up to an extra month, February 14th. I wasnt thinking much of it considering I notified them of the move well in advance, and assumed they would be courteous and just mail the prepaid rent to my address. Well first off, I called the facility and asked them to confirm that my account was indeed closed and site vacated and left open. The girl told me the account was still open, then proceeded to just repeat the information Id just given her saying I moved out and left the cube open. That isnt confirmation of an account closure at all. I then asked her about the refund for the prepaid rent and she couldnt give me an answer, so I asked her to note my account and forward it to the site supervisor so he could further assist, and she alleged to have done so. I proceed to call Cubesmart at the main phone number and ask about a refund for the prepaid rent per se and was told they dont provide prorated rebates. I then went to Cubesmarts online chat and informed them of the 1/14 move out and asked them if they closed my account. The chat specialist said she saw my account was still open so she forwarded the site facility an email confirming them the cube was vacated and requested to close my account. I then asked if I would be refunded and she said she will certainly request that. So whats the deal Cubesmart? I understand if you dont offer refunds for unused days, but prepaid or surplus rent is a different scenario altogether! The payments were made exactly 24hours from each other! I spoke with staff endless times to ask for extensions and was promptly denied. But you promptly took the money and dont consider that a foul? Not to mention my belongings were COVERED with rat *** and turds! The boxes and covers I used to block out YOUR cockroaches were chewed through and mutilated. Yet, you offer NO WARNING OF THE PEST PROBLEM, and NO INSURANCE to potentially compensate for damage caused by vermin. But you put rat poison packs in my new cubicle making it clear that youre acknowledging the problem WELL AFTER I PAYED FOR THE UNIT! Disgusting! Not just the vermin, but your made up rules and policy facade! Utterly disgraceful! I left the rat turds for YOU to clean up ;) read more

The staff there pop my lock put there on lock & the tag wasn't regain the system I don't owe no money and when I ask the manager on duty at the time he going to say maybe you left your locker unlock. Good experience. I was able to keep the truck for an extra hour for no additional fee which was a huge help.

My storage unit was flooded on 1/9/18. I received a message stating it was urgent to call back. When I called back I was advised that a pipe burst due to weather conditions and some storage units were flooded. I got to the facility within an hour to find my storage unit flooded. I was helped by Marisela which advised me to take pictures. She also took pictures as well. I took pictures and a video. I asked to be moved to a different unit since the unit was filled with water. I spent over 3 hours going through my items and having to transfer them to different boxes. The flood damaged several of my items. I was told I can file a claim for the damaged property. The next day I spoke with Marisela which she advised me I didn't have insurance on my unit and wouldn't be able to file a claim. I was offered 1 free month. I told her that wouldn't work for me and asked for a manager. I was provided with the district manager's telephone number. I spoke to Joaquinn on 1/15, which I explained to him the problem at hand. He basically told me I didn't have insurance and they aren't held responsible. I advised him the problem was weather related and I shouldn't be held responsible for the damages. The business should be liable under these circumstances. He offered me 2 months of free storage. I told him that wouldn't work and I would be contacting the Better Business Bureau and Dept of Consumer Affair. I lost property that is worth more than 2 months of rental fee. Every business has insurance and under these terms they should be held responsible to reimburse me for the damaged items. I pay over $200 a month for my property to be stored here. They should not make it out to be a customer's problem. At this time I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and Dept of Consumer Affair. read more

I came from mass to ny with budget truck .went to cube smart. At 200 and serviced there sucked was a waste of time i had to reserve on line to get a good deal right in front of the customer service area then drove down the block where they have another buisness.all this running around wasted my time had to pay xtra at budget cuz i gave in the truck three hours late due to lack of customer service at 200 .and a back and forth to the office paid then had to unload .while they have africans standing around there pods all day looking like the run there buisness from there storage space. I didnt understand why cuz the place stink till i got to my storage space elevator takes for ever and when infront of it wants to close fast .a day of hell.i would just maintain my property there for a short time. This is my second experience renting storage space. My first experience was w/ Storage Post and was absolutely horrible!!!!!! I was recommended Cube Smart by a friend and from the minute I walked in I was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted by Maricela Bravo who did an amazing job of explaining storage options. She was pleasant and knowledgeable. Recently I have experience a financial windfall and have had challenges paying my bill on time. During my time of financial loss, I have been the most annoying customer, constantly calling regarding my bill, asking for concessions. I was embarrassed and ashamed. Not once did Maricela make me feel like a liability or a burden after constantly inundating her and her team with calls and challenges. Throughout this whole experiences I have been made to feel like a valuable customer. Maricela does everything with a smile and runs a tight ship. She has high expectations for her employees and is always willing and available to assist. The reviews on their webpage had to be from family members or employees to make the company look good. Trust me, they aren't anywhere near 4 stars like they claim on the website. I have been with this company way before they took over the previous company Storage Deluxe, or they changed the name because of serious violations or something they did wrong, and it hasn't even been a good experience. The managers are nice, until you sign that contract, then they don't give a crap about you or your belongings. The units aren't climate controlled as they say it is and it's being run by rodents and bugs so bad that I had to throw away most of my belongings, and I have photos to prove it. I tried talking to corporate to see if it can be resolved and I didn't have any success reaching them. This is how they treat a loyal customer. Oh, and watch out with their price changes. It fluctuates without any given notice and extra charges get added to your bill too, and their rules changes just alike. So watch out with them if you are current customer, and don't fall into the trap if you looking for a storage unit, because this isn't the place for you. I don't recommend them. The staff at this location is very helpful, it's clean and easily accessible. Caution: Don't use the "free" moving truck unless your things are packed up and waiting to be loaded. Otherwise, you pay $45 for every half hour over the limit. They don't tell you that! I ended up spending 10 times as much as it would have cost to rent a U-haul truck for the day. read more
