Absolutely horrible experience. Daniel Gelin, the store manager, was unbelievably rude from the second I walked in. I came in with a few basic questions about storage options, and he acted like I was wasting his time. He was short, dismissive, and just completely unprofessional. It honestly felt like he went out of his way to be unhelpful. No eye contact, no effort to explain anything, just attitude. I left more confused than when I got there. Also -- the place was filthy. Dust everywhere, weird smell, and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. I wouldn't trust this place with anything I care about. If this is how CubeSmart treats people, especially with someone like Daniel running things, I'd avoid it at all costs. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else. read more

WET!!!!!! Unfortunately we store out stuff in the cube over the summer(June to August). The cube got wet during the summer, and Several pieces of our furniture for wet. They said they were not responsible for it, and told us to call the insurance company ( which we pay extra money for the service). Also, there is no place for us to throw our damaged furniture around the cube. Also, we are asking if we could move out on 9/1 instead of 8/31, and they ask us to pay for the whole month of September for this. Very disappointed. read more

The representative at the 1744 Pass Rd Biloxi MS area, caused me to lose my deposit. They assured me that an 18 wheeler could access my unit. But just before moving day upon reconfirmation, they admitted it it wouldn't fit. When I requested a refund due to the misinformation, they stated that refunds are not available, consequently I had to urgently seek and alternative storage company. It felt like a deceitful tactic to take my money and it significantly increased my stress level. So beware! read more

Fine, until our unit flooded with water -- multiple pieces of furniture ruined, but we didn't even bother telling them. We know how these things go and it's not worth the fight. Instead, we'll be cutting our losses and moving our items -- what is salvageable, if anything -- elsewhere. Please beware and check on your items often. read more

Not happy! FEES!!!! Signed on for internet rate after 3 months they immediate upped monthly fee and never explained after calling 3 times if it was going to be a regular increase every 3 months. Very difficult to set up auto pay with checking account and store in Milford never has anyone there so have to pay by credit card in app or online and they charge a fee!!!!! To get paid their rent!! Too ridiculous and greedy. read more

The facilities are nice. The managers are nice. However, the pricing is too high. I was charged $257 / month for an 8*8 cube. Other reviewers are correct when they say their are a lot of hidden fees - moving in, you will be required to pay for insurance, a one-time admin fee, and you must bring your own lock (available for purchase on site for lots of money). And buyer beware - they will NOT prorate any amount of time. Even if you move out one day after your bill is due. Not worth it! read more

I have been a Cube Smart customer for the past 4 years at 130 Lincoln Street, Brighton, MA. Lately, I have the need to book a storage at this location again, I have been talking to the new manager at this location, her name is Jasmine Prophilien. Jasmine is a very nice, knowledgeable and helpful person, she has tried to help me find the best storage which suits my need. I have always had a good experience with Cube Smart at this location. I had a great experience when I moved my stuff in. Jonathan got me set up quickly and without any hassle. He even reserved the free truck to help me move from my old (horrible) storage unit to Cubesmart so I wouldn't have to rent a U-haul or moving truck. I found the prices to be very competitive based on my research in the area, and feel a lot more comfortable keeping my belongings here in a gated, temperature controlled storage area. read more

Update, several months later! Still have a positive review. I have moved things in & out of my storage unit several times over the past few months. Every time the unit/building has been clean and accessible, and very easy to navigate. The desk worker is always really nice. I'm now moving out so I finally closed my lease and removed all my stuff from the storage unit, and "checkout" was a breeze. I did need to dump some things (old bookcase) and while they do have a dumpster on-site, you will be charged $20 to use it, just FYI. But it's actually kinda hard to find a dumpster to use in my area, so I just paid the twenty bucks. If you have time, I'd suggest dumping your stuff elsewhere if you need. Otherwise my experience was really smooth, no hidden fees, always really prompt and courteous staff. read more

BEWARE -- read the fine print and be prepared to be nickeled and dimed! We called a few storage places at the beginning of the summer to store belongings during school (college) break. Chose this location even though the monthly rates were a little higher because we were told they would prorate the last month based on when we vacated the unit. Contract says otherwise. There's also a significant initial admin fee we weren't informed about until we got there, plus a $2 monthly "convenience" fee for paying online with a credit card. The units themselves seem OK but know that the small cubes may not be at floor level and be prepared to lift any heavy items 4-5 feet into your unit. Bring your own lock. Just as a reference, getting into our small 4' cube with a monthly rate of $57 cost well over $100 for the first month with the rental fee, admin fee, and lock. read more

I researched online availabilities via their website. When I had a good understanding of spaces available I went into the facility to view and ask questions. I met with Jonathan who was friendly, courteous and nice. I was able to view about six spaces of a variety of sizes and locations. I then made my selection. I found the process to be streamlined and efficient. I would suggest this location to others and I'm looking forward to moving in my items. read more

This place is... tough. I was waiting for over an hour (I showed up before the office opened) for the managers help, who was supposed to be on call. When she came in 10 minutes before her shift started, I explained what I needed and she said "we open in 10 minutes" while she sat in her car and smoked a cigarette. A nice lady is living out of her unit and her belongings are a bit intrusive in the hallway. The garage door is broken and they have no intent of fixing it, so you'll have to haul your stuff through all the hallways and doorways to move it between your car and unit. read more

While this place isn't sparkling new like some other storage facilities, it is still clean, climate controlled, conveniently located AND priced way better than competitors. I rented a 5x5x8 space right off the elevator for $56.70 a month (plus $10 insurance). Price was nearly triple that at the place right next door. The service is awesome too. Jonathan was extremely helpful and accommodating. Plus if you call ahead and tell them what you need out of your locker they will get it for you and have it waiting at the front. convenient hours and access too. Love it!! read more

I recently had to rent out storage space and this CubeSmart was really near my new location and had an online discount for a few months. Unfortunately,the online CubeSmart system doesn't always get the cube discount sales and payments right. But fortunately, the super nice person at this location,Jonathan, was able to quickly fix any of the issues that came up. I plan on sticking with this storage space mostly because of the Lincoln St. customer service which has always been great. The online system leaves something to be desired, for instance, booking mistakes/ rate mistakes. read more

Had a horrible experience. Would not recommend this storage locker. I will be back to post the details in a day or so after I talk with the manager again. The 2 stars are for my impression up until this very bad experience. EDIT: 1 Week later. My experience with the site manager (Timothy Riley) was very bad. I was being charged even after I moved out, and could not get a resolution dealing with Mr. Riley. I had to call the company's corporate headquarters in Florida, then speak with the District Manager for the Lincoln St. location before I could get my money back. Worst part is Mr. Riley treated me very badly when I went in to talk with him. Big hassle. I would never deal with the company (Simply Self Storage) again, especially not with the Lincoln St. location. EDIT 2: I finally got my money back, and because the company at the higher levels refunded my money, but only AFTER 6 MONTHS of me calling them repeatedly. read more

Mr Eddie and Tye were amazng staff at Cubesmart. This was my first time using this company and I went into the store worried that my online booking would not be recognized or that the cheap rate was a cover for some exorbitant "compulsory miscellaneous fees". When I went to the store, Eddie and Tye were very professional, they pulled up my reservation and listed clearly what my reservation entailed. There were no hidden costs. Tye was also very professional as she walked me (literally) through the storage space, even if it meant that she had to move a ladder from one side of the storage space to the other. Throughout the whole process, Tye and Eddie were super helpful and friendly, which made the usual boring experience of dealing with storage the highlight of my day. By the end, Eddie repeated every aspect of my contract and made sure that I was fully aware what I was paying. Low rates, no hidden costs, and excellent service by Eddie and Tye. After using UHaul Storage and Public Storage in the past, I was initially hesitant to try another company. But, the price sounded reasonable and the pictures looked like the place was well-kept. So, I decided to make a reservation and see how it went. I made the reservation around 8am. Leo, the General Manager, opened the office and gave me a call immediately. In addition to being polite and helpful, he offered to show me around when I arrived to make sure the unit I picked would work. Immediately, I knew CubeSmart had better customer service than UHaul and Public Storage. Upon arriving at CubeSmart, Leo greeted me, took a look at what I had in my truck, and then showed me the units. I ended up needing a slightly larger unit, and he made the price very fair for me (i.e. he didnt try to sell me or overcharge me at all -- he was super fair!). We went back to the office, took care of the paperwork, and I was all set. The dolly carts were there for me to unload, and the building was small enough that no unit is far from the entrance. While walking around, I saw the place was definitely clean and also well-secured. Needless to say, between the service, price, cleanliness, security, and convenience, I was very, very pleased!!! read more
