Waynes Moving Services LLC aka Waynes Enterprises LLC is as SHADY as they come! This was the most stressful move I've ever had and this wasn't my first move. Dwayne "Wayne" Williams, owner, has horrible communication skills and lacks professionalism at a basic level. Prior to the move, he was on his game because he was trying to get the job and deposit (beware of the bait n switch in communication post deposit). It was all downhill after our deposit was paid. Prior to our move date, I sent him several emails that went unanswered. Our moving date was changed without my approval or prior knowledge. I asked in advance about a contingency plan for the pending snow storm. Dwayne assured me that there was no change to our packing or moving date but then no showed, no call. Then, I was completely ghosted for a solid week. No emails, calls, or texts to common inquiries, like "when should we expect your crew to arrive?". A simple phone call to discuss a new plan would've been so appreciated. He never even introduced himself when he finally came to our house. We paid a flat rate for the full service packing and moving of our house. The packers did a shoddy job. Dry cleaned dress clothing that should've been hung in wardrobe boxes was put in small boxes (trying to cut corners with material costs). Whole drawers and cabinets just dumped into boxes (spices and baking products spilled in the boxes), numerous items left unpacked at the orignal property when everything was supposed to be packed and transported, heavy items stacked on top of expensive hats, overpacked and poorly sealed boxes, and this isn't an exhaustive list. Our belongings were not packed with care or consideration. The last straw was Dwayne extorting us for an additional $400 above the contracted price because he "underestimated the job and just needed to pay my guys". They waited until two days into a 3-day move to make this "request". Mind you, our job was only supposed to take one day to pack and one day to move. It took 3 days because they arrived 6 hours late the first and second days. How was their underestimation of the work/materials required the customer's fault or problem? A reputable company would have taken that loss and honored the contracted rate they provided instead of passing it on to the customer. They had our belongings on the truck so we were essentially put over a barrel as we needed our move completed and didn't want what was left of the crew to walk off the job. We paid the extra $400 just to be done. I would never use this company again nor would I recommend them to anyone I know. I plan to report them to the BBB. An absolute nightmare experience that I don't wish on anyone. If I could give this company ZERO stars I would. I just hope this review keeps someone else from having a negative experience.

They were flexible with us as we had to reschedule due to weather, and had several complicated moves that were handled very well. As with any move, we took care ourselves to wrap things, communicate our needs and expectations, but I would do that with any mover. Ask questions, clarify and explain what you want. All furniture was wrapped carefully with moving blankets and secured and all breakables were treated with care. I've never seen a team of people work so hard!

I appreciate that they moved my furniture and packed everything and it took less than a full day for a two bedroom apartment. I always like a full included price, and I thought the price was great. The price was pretty comparable to others, but others only wanted an hourly rate. I was not sure on how long three people would take, but I knew I wanted it done quickly to move on with my life. If they have a cleaning service too, I would have gladly taken that. They gave me a video call and gave me a solid quote. I was happy in the end. They moved everything as I wanted and made sure my furniture and TVs were in good shape. I appreciate the service. I hope to work with them again.

Communication was very bad, John (the owner) just wasn't able to keep a line of communication with his clients. Then to my contiune 30 minutes check in to get a ETA...John told me he was leaving the office. I asked for a contact number. He said his guys do not need harrassed on a job. I then get an email... hour and a half later... "MOVE CANCELED" . I was left hanging with no options. I turned to Craigslist... found a solution. This company was given to me by a gal at the UHAUL to get bodies when you got a truck.... UHAUL needs to remove them from their reliable list. BEWARE !!!
