I…read moreended up helping them AND then called my boyfriend so we could complete the job on a timely manner and damage-free. My furniture was scratched. My mattress and sofa were dragged on the floor. I own lots of vases and even though I carefully packed and label them "GLASS" I still had 2 picture frames and 4 vases completely broken. When I spoke to the owner, he didn't even bother to apologize. My main concern is that in writing this review, it says I'm the first one to give a review. This is very strange, because when I picked this company was because of the good reviews in Yelp. I don't get it. I never write reviews, but this was such a bad experience, I needed to share and warn others. Yes, it's inexpensive...you get what you pay for!!!

At the start the guys seemed cool, but as the move went on their attitude changed. They started complaining about how much stuff I had even though I did a full intake with them beforehand and we already agreed on a price. They even started insinuating I should go to an ATM to pay them more money, which made me feel uneasy and was unprofessional since the rate was already set. I moved into a brand new building where I'm only the 3rd person on my floor. A hallway light fixture was broken during the move and they told me they didn't do it. However, management knocked on my door later saying they have them on camera breaking the light and damaging the walls. On top of the building damage, my vanity was broken, some furniture was scratched, and the monitor for my work computer is broken. I've asked repeatedly for their insurance information so we can resolve this, but they aren't responding. I believe I've been blocked now because my messages are no longer going through. Adrian and his guys did a great job. They moved fast, had a good attitude, and it was affordable. 3 guys loaded and offloaded a 26' truck twice in 6 hours, including drive times (about 45m-1h of driving), including an 1,100 lb gun safe. They took better care of the items they were moving than i would have even. They didn't bang up the walls, or the stuff they moved. They wrapped everything that wasn't in a box, in a blanket and taped it up. These are your guys

It started raining maybe 10-15 minutes after they started, and they didn't let that negatively impact their work in any way. They came completely prepared to wrap, protect, and move everything safely. I have an antique vanity that I let them know was the most important thing to me. They wrapped and carried it like a newborn baby. They even wrapped our mattresses to keep them from getting wet in the rain. Please keep in mind that when I speak of rain, I mean HEAVY rain. These guys got soaked and still did an outstanding job. No long delays or breaks. I just can't emphasize enough how great they were. The rate is competitive, the communication is clear, and they are just on point in every way that you would want and expect a moving service to be. We were scheduled to pick up at 10 am, but there was another resident temporarily on the freight elevator. The crew started packing loose household items until the elevator arrived and they could get on. One plastic container arrived with a loose lid, but its contents were undamaged. So, if you want the right workers to come help from AMS and you want it done right, you might want to request these 3 workers who work amazing together and were very careful with putting my items in my home for me. I had quite a bit to pack and move in June 2025, and moved into a three story townhome. Considering that, I felt $3500 was a fair price. Last week, after downsizing quite a bit, doing most of my own packing (much of my stuff had never been unpacked and was still in AMS boxes from last year., I called them again based on my experiences in previous moves Unfortunately I didn't read recent reviews. They offered a "complimentary" kitchen packing, which I accepted. (It's not complimentary!) The crew of three men and one gal showed up- gal in charge. One guy was great, the other two did t speak English and were like two of the three stooges. Laughing. Goofing around. Boss lady stayed in the truck and listened to something with headphones for hours. Then she decides to start packing the kitchen after 5 hours which ran the clock even further. Two Stooges Moe and Curly dropped my sofa, damaged the frame. They continued to mess around. Unloading was even worse.. I don't want to pay for someone to screw on lampshades. I need assistance to MOVE boxes and furniture. The guy who was hard working left between loading and unloading. In short: instead of the quoted price of $3500, I was charged $7500! I called customer service and they knocked $400 off labor because the fourth guy wasn't there to help unload. The movers broke a mahogany dining room chair, damaged my buffet, sofa (then tried to hide the damage) and a few other items. I will never ever recommend them again, nor will I use them to move again. Horrible customer service from Troy, horrible experience with YaYa and her two stooges. They acted like college kids helping move for beer and pizza! Hideous!
