I…read moreended up helping them AND then called my boyfriend so we could complete the job on a timely manner and damage-free. My furniture was scratched. My mattress and sofa were dragged on the floor. I own lots of vases and even though I carefully packed and label them "GLASS" I still had 2 picture frames and 4 vases completely broken. When I spoke to the owner, he didn't even bother to apologize. My main concern is that in writing this review, it says I'm the first one to give a review. This is very strange, because when I picked this company was because of the good reviews in Yelp. I don't get it. I never write reviews, but this was such a bad experience, I needed to share and warn others. Yes, it's inexpensive...you get what you pay for!!!

At the start the guys seemed cool, but as the move went on their attitude changed. They started complaining about how much stuff I had even though I did a full intake with them beforehand and we already agreed on a price. They even started insinuating I should go to an ATM to pay them more money, which made me feel uneasy and was unprofessional since the rate was already set. I moved into a brand new building where I'm only the 3rd person on my floor. A hallway light fixture was broken during the move and they told me they didn't do it. However, management knocked on my door later saying they have them on camera breaking the light and damaging the walls. On top of the building damage, my vanity was broken, some furniture was scratched, and the monitor for my work computer is broken. I've asked repeatedly for their insurance information so we can resolve this, but they aren't responding. I believe I've been blocked now because my messages are no longer going through. They moved fast, had a good attitude, and it was affordable. 3 guys loaded and offloaded a 26' truck twice in 6 hours, including drive times (about 45m-1h of driving), including an 1,100 lb gun safe. They took better care of the items they were moving than i would have even. They didn't bang up the walls, or the stuff they moved. It started raining maybe 10-15 minutes after they started, and they didn't let that negatively impact their work in any way. They came completely prepared to wrap, protect, and move everything safely. I have an antique vanity that I let them know was the most important thing to me. They wrapped and carried it like a newborn baby. They even wrapped our mattresses to keep them from getting wet in the rain. Please keep in mind that when I speak of rain, I mean HEAVY rain. These guys got soaked and still did an outstanding job. No long delays or breaks. I just can't emphasize enough how great they were. The rate is competitive, the communication is clear, and they are just on point in every way that you would want and expect a moving service to be. They packed items we hadn't packed with no hesitation or question. They went ABOVE & BEYOND making sure furniture was placed in the correct room, that it was positioned how we wanted it and even moved a few HEAVY items a few times just to make sure it was to our liking. Did I mention they took beds down AND set them up at the new house? Upstairs AND downstairs? Completely dishonest, unprofessional, and disrespectful from start to finish. I referred Donnie a long-distance move for my clients, and from the very beginning it was a mess. He rushed through the phone call, failed to gather basic and necessary information, and quoted my clients $1,500, which turned out to be wildly inaccurate. When the movers actually showed up, the price magically jumped to $2,300 -- and even after paying that inflated amount, they still didn't move everything. My clients were forced to rent a U-Haul themselves just to finish the move. Absolutely unacceptable. Communication was nonexistent. At pickup, the movers couldn't even give a rough estimate of when the items would be delivered. My clients' belongings were left in limbo for days, and it took countless phone calls just to get a vague update on where their items were and when they might arrive. This level of disorganization is shocking for a company that claims to be professional. On top of all that, Donnie personally put in writing that I would receive a referral fee. When I followed up to resolve the issue professionally, he completely dodged responsibility -- ignoring messages, blocking my calls, and refusing to communicate at all. That alone should tell you everything you need to know about his character and how this company operates. I was told my concerns were "escalated to customer service," yet I've heard absolutely nothing since. No follow-up. No accountability. No resolution. From a communication and management perspective this was a horrible experience from start to finish…read morefrom this Carrollton, TX branch location. I was given a pickup time of 12 pm, Friday, May 8, 2026. After multiple calls and a virtual shouting match with management the crew showed at 5:30 pm. That's not the worst part.... They began loading, that was completed about 9pm and arrived at my destination location at 10pm (after the crew took dinner break). They began unloading when management called to say they could not complete the move until the following day. Again, I encountered a very arrogant, condescending manager that kept defending his position of no guaranteed pickup or delivery time period. However, I must say that Manual, the moving crew lead was incredible and most accommodating under a horrible management situation. Now, to make matters worse, the charge was more than double their moving estimate. I would never recommend this AMS branch to anyone. Heads need to roll and competent consumer centric people need to be hired. I will be taking further action to ensure that other people are not taken advantage of by this unprofessional organization.
