My car was broken into and the window was broken. I was sent here by my insurance company (Geico) and my deductible is $1000. I really felt like the staff had poor customer service. Normally when I go to a mechanic I have to give approval after seeing a quote. They had me sign a paper giving full authorization to work on the car no matter the price. To me, my deductible is $1k so anything under that is my responsibility. So I should be able to have a say in whether I agree to a price or if I should go somewhere else. When I brought this up both of the women working told me I had no choice and I felt really rushed into signing it and leaving my car with them. I said "well if I agree to pay whatever you charge doesn't that incentivize you guys to take the full deductible?" And they just had a blank stare. Anyway, I really felt like the process was a scam the way they strong arm you sign over the car and your ability to have final approval. The insurance company isn't the only customer, I am too and it's my car. The owner should have a say. Since they were rude to me too I will definitely never be coming back here and shop around next time and I suggest others do the same. Don't just sign the paper definitely shop around. After waiting two hours for the tow driver I called for an eta but they couldn't give me one because they only communicate through email to the tow drivers. I went to Cubbage based on an online Yelp search, their reviews and the proximity to my home. When I entered everyone was super nice. I explained that I had multiple scratches on each corner of my car (I don't have sensors) and I also had a broken back reflector. They reviewed my car and gave me a great estimate! We chose this based on the reviews, but you should NOT do it! First of all if you're unaware of the process, after even the smallest accident, they de-assemble the car completely, (it was hit on the wheel, they took out the bumpers, side mirrors, everything on the front as well! because they charge you the de-assembly fee of $160 and reassembly fee of $299), I was waiting to get a quote of the reassembly for three days to decide if I want to pick up the car like that or reassembled. Before picking up the car, the insurance called the cubage collision to make sure there will be no charges and I can pick it up the day after (on Saturday), and told me that without reassembly service, you are not paying nothing. But at the pick up, they said that I need to pay $160 for de-assembly (3 hours of work for taking out the side mirrors, bumpers, and door panels)!! Inspection and valuation is at the order of the insurance of the third party who was at fault and I am clearly not responsible for it. They also decline that they talked to insurance yesterday, saying we don't know who talked with insurance and we don't see any note on the file. Well, that's not my fault that your people are not working properly and you don't know who is doing what and not documenting. I would say get your things together! Also, they overcharged a lot in their initial repair estimates and I say this because I sent their repair items to other shops and got quote on the exact same things. I brought my car to cubbage collision under the terms that they were able to fix my radiator. once everything was diagnosed I received an estimate and everything was fine. Upon them starting the service I was notified that they would have to pull the car apart costing more so from there I just let them know i wasnt able to pay what they wanted and I would have the car towed back to my home on a certain date that they were aware of. The day my car was brought to cubbage collision I had a bumber attached to my car. The day it got towed back to my home there was no bumper attached to the car nor in the vehicle. I called cubbage asking about the bumper and they stated that they did not no the bumper was missing and that there is a desemable and resembling fee and that the manager told the service department not to charge me anything do to the condition they had to do in order to fix the car. my bumper was dropped off by one of the workers but my car was still in the messed up conditions along with my entire front now gone due to them not putting my bumper back on even after the manager stated to not charge me anything I feel like they should have at least put my car back the way it was found read more

If I could give negative stars on the review, I would. I am not sure what has changed with this business but my last experience with them was horrible and I need to share in details. My repair was delayed and their employees are not professional or approachable. The manager on site is the worst. The whole culture at the shop is full of negativity. On top of that, our vehicle was stolen off the lot while it was waiting to be repaired. There was no security footage available because they didn't fix their broken cameras, even though they knew it's been broken for god knows how long. On top of that, they don't provide any needed security around the property to make sure our cars are in good hands. I am shocked to find out how irresponsible this business is. I had an accident around Rodeo Houston time and Geico sent me to this place. I'm writing this today nearly 10 months later because I'm still having issues with this shop. When I left my car with them, the only damage I had was underneath. Nothing wrong with my tires or battery. It took almost a week for my car to get fixed. When I showed up to get it, my check tire light was on. It wasn't on when I left it. That's when the lying began. The young lady at the front desk pulled up a picture that showed the check tire light was on when they did a diagnosis. Now mind you, IF the light was on when I turned it in, why didn't they FIX THE TIRE? But, fine, I took my car off their lot and immediately I felt a jerking motion. I wasn't a block away, so I u-turned back. I was told that everything was okay. I took my car to Discount Tire because it's literally at the next light. While waiting for an attendant, my car died. I called the shop and they gave me a boost and insisted again that nothing was wrong. The young man even followed me home. Discount Tire didn't find the nail, so I thought it was just the case of Cubbage giving me too much air in one of my tires. The next morning, my car was flat. So I called Geico service and they put on my spare. I then took it to another Discount Tire and they found the nail and fixed my tire. The next morning, my car wouldn't start, so I called Geico again, just to get a boost. When I took my car back to Cubbage Collision they were apologetic but they kept insisting that nothing was wrong. I suggested that they didn't turn my car over during the week and that's why my battery went dead. No, they insisted. I even gave them an out by saying that perhaps the nail damage happened when they took my car to the back, and in the week it was there, the air drained out. No, again, they insisted. But since I was having so much trouble that they weren't responsible for, they'd purchase me a brand new battery. You know, for all my pain and suffering. But instead of buying a new battery as they lied, they recharged my old battery, that they allowed to go dead. I know this because it doesn't take 90 minutes to purchase a battery from a Toyota dealership that is basically around the corner (Mike Calvert Toyota). Yes, I literally sat in their waiting room for over an hour. The manager even approached me with another lie that they'd gone to the dealership and purchased the WRONG battery and had to go back to get the correct battery and that's why it was taking so long. Not even kidding. Yeah, I knew it was a lie at that point, but I wanted to get away from that den of liars. When I think of how they didn't give a crap about how I made it home or even if I made it home, I shudder. Anything could have happened on my drive home. A nail in my tire, a dead battery. Now 10 months later, my (new, hahaha) battery has died. Now IF they had given me a new battery, as they said, it wouldn't have died so soon after being installed. And not only that but when they put the old battery back in after charging it, they didn't put the post back on to keep it stable. Now the new battery that I just purchased from O'Reilly can shift position at any point. Stay away from this shop of lies and liars. And think long and hard about Geico. My long overdue update. The damage to my poor car (Lily) was pretty intense, so I hadn't seen her in a while. The people at Cubbage were always friendly when I called, and I received a few courtesy calls with updates on where my car was in the repair process. It was a beautiful Friday afternoon- I got off work and went to the grocery store in the rental car. I received a call from Adan at Cubbage, the reassuring guy who answered the first time I called. My car was ready, and they were conveniently open until 7pm so I would be able to pick it up that same day. He made sure I knew that if I was going to be late, it wouldn't be a problem and they would stay there to make sure I got my car. I walked in and got a warm welcome of course. One of the guys looked like he really wanted to say something, and asked his manager if he could. He blurted out, "I saw your Yelp review! It was our first review!" and he said he was so excited that day and was telling everyone he knew to go on Yelp to read it. woohoo, Yelp! Lily (the car) looked fantastic. Freshly washed and good as new. In fact, after inspecting the car, it seems like they tried their best to take care of a few dents and scratches that had happened even prior to the accident. I don't even know where to start to be honest. Someone insured with Geico rear ended my car so I took it here to get to the Geico Adjuster and had it repaired. Here are the things I found a week after I went to get my car. List: Hood was open when they left me the car. All the things in my car were turned upside down. Took all the change that I left in the car and two classic dollar coins (not much, just for tolls but that shows character) Several items missing including my prepaid car wash card that I left in my card compartment. Check engine light was on when I turned on my car. When I drove the car back to my house I found that the left turn light click a lot faster than right. Went to pepboys and they took a look and told me whoever did my car messed up doing the electrical system. This place is a NIGHTMARE! When I pulled up, I was just getting out of my car and walking to the door when Pete from Geico was already outside to greet me! He went through what the plan was, introduced me to the manager of the shop, and to the Enterprise rental guy. In under 10 minutes I had all the paper work filled out and was ready to go! I had no problem waiting extra time though (they informed me they were still cleaning the vehicle), because it was spotless. I think I will come here in the future or at the very least refer people here because I was truly blown away by the exemplary service I received here!!! I am a big fan of great customer service and the customer service I received here was AWESOME! I was referred here by Geico after I was, unfortunately, hit by another motorist on my way to work ( still showed up to work on time Woot Woot ). I showed up in my " No Bad Vibes" shirt and a guy with a handlebar mustache opened the door for my Dad and I. I was helped by Emmanuel who was very friendly, prompt, and professional. He explained the process to me thoroughly and I felt so comfortable that I actually told my Dad he didn't have to stay the whole time and I always have my Dad or a man with me when I need to do anything to my vehicles! The whole process took very little time and I also got a rental car in the same place which I thought was very convenient! It took them a week to fix my car but they updated me on the progress every single day which was reassuring and I really felt a peace about them taking care of my vehicle! About a year and a half ago or so I dropped off my car to get some repairs done to it in the front and rear. Couple of months later I had to take the front bumper off only to find that they had glued it back in place rather than putting in the correct screw in the hard to reach place. They replaced the bumper them after I called and brought it to their attention. This week I had to remove the rear bumper, low and behold it was glued back in place instead of fixing it properly. Now I have to purchase a new bumper because the tabs were glued in and torn off when removing it. read more

The only reason that they get 2 stars as opposed to 1 is because the staff is friendly. Friendless, however is no substitute for incompetence. Unfortunately if you are insured with Geico, this is where they send you for collision repair. I was told that my vehicle was awaiting final inspection and would not be ready for pickup until Geico inspects it. Needless to say, I noticed after I picked up my vehicle and drove it home that the door panels where installed incorrectly. If you've ever been the victim of a hit and run, there are a couple of concepts that sharply come into focus: there are some crap people out there in this world who were born without spines and you should never have to bother with too much fuss. Enter the auto-incident trifecta at Cubbage Collision. Insurance adjuster, car rental lot, and collision repair facility all in one place. It was almost seamless. Seamless would have been not having to pay a deductible for the spineless twerp who touched my car with his truck, before backing up and speeding off. Almost seamless is better than you're going to get in virtually any circumstance, so I am thanking my lucky stars. The employee at Cubbage was exceptionally helpful. He talked me through the repair process, and cheered me up a bit. I was going through a pretty rough week, I think I must have had a trouble magnet tied around my neck. He provided Nordstrom's of five years ago customer service and assistance. (Nordstrom's you need to re-step up your game.) The adjuster was a bit more cut and dried, when she walked me through the insurance adjustment process. But, it is a detail-oriented process. She explained how the trifecta's operation worked, and told me that there were only a few such set ups around Houston. Both reminded me that if I wanted to get the appraisal and take my car somewhere else, I could do so. They definitely wanted to make certain that I knew that they weren't trying to pressure me into being helped by the trifecta. They were on the level, and it was going to cost me $250 no matter where I went, I felt "no fuss" was my happiest route. When that was all settled, I went to speak with the Enterprise employee. Again, exceptionally helpful and polite, it was as if I'd run into a pocket of happy people who liked helping people. Thirty or forty minutes after walking in the front door for my appointment, I was driving away in a rental. Thankfully they only had my car for a week, but they were also working on it almost around the clock. Cubbage's repair facility is running 24/7. Polite, helpful, and efficient. I had my car repaired here after getting into a small wreck that did semi-serious damage to my vehicle. after filing a claim with geico, they suggested I go with their guaranteed shop that would cover any future issues with the repairs, should they arise, and I agreed. it was one of the WORST experiences ever in terms of customer service. when I dropped my car off for repair, I was told it would take 5 days to complete. however, it took them TWO WEEKS to fix my car. (because they found additional damages but never told me!) and it wasn't even complete when I picked it up (they neglected to replace a side view mirror that was damaged in the accident) I called them on the 4th day and they said they were waiting for parts and they'd call when it was done. BUT THEY NEVER CALLED. NOT ONCE. each time I called it was "being worked on now and they would TRY and have it done by the end of the day." once I wanted to talk to the manager and I was told they would call me back, and they never did. all in all, this was an awful experience. no communication from the staff and terrible customer service. read more

Being in a car accident is never a good thing. After a driver ran a red light and caused $5000 worth of damage to my car, I tried to hold off and wait for the other person's insurance to take care of it so I could avoid paying my deductible. USAA dragged their feet and I couldn't continue driving my car around in its condition, so I called Geico. Cubbage was their preferred repair shop in my area, so I set an appointment and brought my poor car on in. It's one stop shopping here. I met with my very handsome adjuster, talked to the Cubbage representative (also handsome), and picked up my rental from the Enterprise counter. I was on my way in under 20 minutes. Two weeks later, my adjuster called to tell me my car was ready. I happily brought my rental back to be reunited with my dear sweet car. Everything looked good as new. Unfortunately when I got home I realized the car wasn't locking properly. I called the next day and they told me to bring it on back. I returned mid morning on a Saturday and they took a look at it right away. 10 minutes later, I was on my merry way. I doubt things could have gone any smoother. read more

My front bumper was partially smashed in although it was still drivable I couldn't live with looking at the damage everyday so I called Geico. They sent me to this place after I told them about my work schedule and they do have weekday friendly hours. The Geico claim agent lady along with guy who helped me with the loaner car at Enterprise Rent-a-car (although conveniently located here) were both friendly and made the process go smooth and quickly. I dropped off my car on Friday and was told they needed to order parts and would be ready by Monday at the earliest. Set right off the feeder of 610 between almeda and buffalo spdwy. Entrance is off of knights rd. I had a minor accident (hit & run on my bumper) & Geico recommended this place bc they're open weekends with a geico agent available also on Saturdays 8-3. They also provide a car rental on site via enterprise. There's an Avis next door if you prefer them. Pete, my agent , was very fast and friendly. There's bottle water, coffee, a nice bathroom and popcorn while you wait .... but I didn't have to wait. Literally from the minute I came , I got my rental and went over my car and I was on my way home in 15 minutes. Pete and Cubbage called the following Monday with an update and my car was done by the end of the week. When I arrived, I returned the rental, paid my deductible, they gave me my keys, paperwork, a Geico water bottle, bottled water, helped me move my daughter 's car seat into my car and I was on my way. They also had a sealed gallon sandwich bag sealed with tape with my belongings that I had left inside my vehicle. (I had removed any change/money and some necessary stuff but had left in my vehicle some sunglasses, umbrellas, etc. ) there was no stealing or losing of items in my vehicle. Everyone was super friendly and service was amazing. Nothing to complain about. Pete showed me the repairs and they are guaranteed for lifetime. Highly recommended place. I drive a 2017 Lexus rx suv so for me to entrust this place for repairs on a luxury vehicle means a lot. I normally goto the dealership but I needed something convenient. If I could rate this company with "0" stars I would. They were recommended by my insurance company to fix my vehicle after the first repair shop dropped the ball - but Cubbage did anything but. First, they "promised" that I would have my vehicle back in 7-10 days, which it was not. Then, they were supposed to drive my vehicle back to the original repair shop, but one of the General Managers was "scared" to drive my car back, so I didn't get it back for another 3 days. Finally, I got my vehicle back and it was damaged in areas that were not originally damaged - bumper, dash, alignment, and other issues. When I called and spoke to the General Manager, he DENIED that "his shop" damaged any of my vehicle and he had pictures to prove it - and that I needed to go through my insurance company to figure it out. I still have not received any pictures. Finally - they were supposed to pay for my rental car and they did not. They are also now refusing to pay for my rental car while my vehicle is back in the shop FIXING THE DAMAGE THAT THEY CAUSED. This is currently ongoing and I will be happy to report the end result. I am hoping that they will fix my vehicle right the SECOND time. Customer service is not their strong suit. read more
