The door was damaged and dents and scratches were on that entire side. I came in with the estimate the insurance had initially provided. I had the misfortune of cutting a parking garage corner too tight and made contact with the yellow poles protecting the building, leaving a small dent but big yellow lines on the side of my van. I thought I was in for a big bill but they looked at it and used some magic to erase the yellow scars. The dent wasn't too bad so I decided to leave it. The work I saw coming out of the shop was at a high level, paint allowed to dry properly, team paid attention to aligning the seams, and modest upholstery work. Really feeling slighted by the integrity of this place. Came here for a few fix ups and at first I thought I found a great long term shop. At this point I've changed my mind. The main front desk person Maggie is knowledgeable and helpful but I DO NOT appreciate the fact that 1) They increased the price of what was originally quoted for my last repair by $300 without informing me until I showed up. And then acted like that was the original quote all along. Told me the total by phone would be $500 and instead I show up to pay $800 yet there was no additional work done then what was discussed by phone. 2) They did not call me back after multiple attempts to reach Maggie and leaving my contact info with the other lady that works there. I'll take blame for not making them send me a quote before doing the work to make sure it was in writing. I thought that was their responsibility but clearly I see why they don't send it before hand. Maybe it's so they can change the price when you show up. Please take note if you are considering and learn from my lesson. It's been weeks now. I should've wrote this review sooner. I may be terrible at the timing of writing this review but I am a meticulous hawk when it comes to my money and what I'm told about price. I don't appreciate being told one thing and then showing up to have to pay another. I even wrote it down originally. To make matters worse I got my vehicle back with the repair done correct but something was off w/my turn signal light the moment I drove it off the lot. All the good reviews about this place are 100% accurate. I showed up and immediately everyone was so polite and friendly. Jeffrey helped me and even took off a broken piece as soon as I got there that had been making a weird sound for MONTHS. Plus he removed some paint with paint thinner free of charge. I came back the next day and he got me a quote within just a few hours. It was more than fair and Jeffrey even gave me different suggestions and ideas of how to lower the price. My mother referred me to manriquez as it was my only resort at the time and was able to get a quote and an idea what to expect from the insurance. Rena and Maggie were so professional and courteous that my anxieties were alleviated. I knew my vehicle was In good hands. Even though the car was essentially considered totaled by the other parties insurance I was still able to get some cosmetic repairs and professional work redone to my car at a reasonable price. I've been so worried about my car since i had recently bought it and this accident just occured, but the shop went above and beyond and worked with me during the whole process with my insurance claim. So happy that we chose this center for our car repair. We had a large scratch and dent on a door. We viewed a few collision repair centers before deciding on this one - we felt great after discussing our car with Jeffrey who was very detailed and took the time to explain how the repair would go. He put together a nice informative quote and described how he would take extra time to match up the paint of my car as closely as possible - which is difficult to do with my car's metallic blue paint. We dropped the car off on a Tuesday and had it back by Thursday the same week. They did an amazing job - was not even able to tell there was prior damage. Excellent customer service and they don't try to rip you off. I needed a side mirror replaced and got a quote from somewhere else and they told me my only option was to get a brand new mirror with assembly for a total of $460. I came to Manriquez to get an alternate quote and Jeff went through my options with me, which included purchasing a used mirror from an auto part store and then he would install it for $50--a much cheaper and more reasonable option. I picked up the mirror for his recommended vendor, but the color wasn't exactly matching the color of the body of my car but I ended up buying the mirror anyway because it was a great price. I brought the mirror to Manriquez and Jeff said they'd be able to keep the old mirror cap and just replace the mirror so the color difference wouldn't be an issue. They ended up doing an amazing job and made it look like I had just gotten a brand new mirror. Friendly & honest customer service. Highly recommend them! read more

I was in a small fender bender on March 1st. Right when I walked in the door at Manriquez body shop I felt like I had known them for years. One of the workers was giving me the history of the shop, and these guys have been doing it for a long time. they know what they are doing. I received my car back in a little over a week and its like brand new, I've had body work done in the past and was without my car for months on end! I had a minor fender-bender, and just wanted to make sure it was JUST cosmetic damage. I called and Rena made sure someone would still be there (I was trying to come in at the end of the day). The tech showed me the damage: bracket was slightly bent and there was a hairline fracture on the top of my wiper fluid tank. I said I didn't want to fix it--and they didn't push it. They did pop my bent-in bumper (just bent in on the front corner) and button it back up for ~$40. I think this was pretty fair considering I couldn't do it myself (no tools, no muscle for bending bumper back out) and I see similar prices for other quick fixes on here (e.g., Nicole C paid $40 for buffing a spot). Rena was super helpful and friendly, staff was meh (they seemed normal but I don't speak Spanish so I had a hard time figuring out attitude/professionalism in the garage), and the owner was really friendly and respectful. read more

I got in my first rear end accident in March 2013 and had to figure out a place to take it to have it looked at. I searched Google for good reviews and came across Manriquez Body Shop; seeing how close they were to my apartment, I decided to take it there. I called and spoke with Rena; she was very helpful and nice and told me to come bring my car by anytime. When I brought my car they did a quick inspection and contacted my insurance company for me, and set a date for the inspection. It was quick and easy and they begun working on my car. At that time they gave me a rental car (which was SO nice of them, I thought I would have had to go through Enterprise paying $50.00 a day for a rental) and kept me updated on how my car was doing. I was so excited to get my car back. I was thinking it would kind of still be a bit banged up from the accident, but my car looked BETTER than what it did even before my accident! Completely blew my mind at what a great job they did, I was so impressed! Great paint job, nothing at all to resemble my car getting in a rear end accident, my front bumper looks completely BRAND NEW!
