Don't be deceived by the good reviews. I dropped my car off to be fixed as it was the number one recommended shop by State Farm. Big mistake. I dropped the car off 2 weeks before Christmas and was told it was going to be ready before hand. Not a problem. Upon picking the car up, the work they did was miserable, lazy and unprofessional. Weather strips falling off, really bad paint work, panel gaps not matching, doors not sitting flush and the worst bit is the noise my car made. Took it back to them about the wind noise and the bad work. Kevin is the most unprofessional employee that I encountered there. Upon sharing the concerns, all the answers were 'it's an easy fix'. If it is such an easy fix, why wasn't it done properly the first time. They try to make it right with a rental at their expense, this is now round two. I show up and again, with the wind noise. I took the car on a test drive with 'the boss' Jesse who says 'I really don't like bad work. I don't like my guys rushing stuff. Everything you're upset with is unacceptable. Okay fine. I left it again, trying to make it right. I go to pick it up and go for a test drive. I come back again and low and behold, this time Kevin says 'Well we drove other cars and this one isn't as loud', as if that's supposed to make me feel better about it. After that, he says well we had 6 employees drive it. I DO NOT CARE. My car was not even close to being in the condition it should've been. Okay. I got on ANOTHER test drive with Jesse, now he drives and agrees about the wind noise. This is now the second round of trying to sort the wind issue. Jesse proceeds to say yeah wind noise is a hard thing to figure out. I thought this is all an easy fix? I leave it with them again, now it's been a month and about a week and a half. Again today, I show up to pick the car up and while the wind noise is fixed, now the doors don't sit flush. If it's all SO EASY for them, you'd think they'd take their time and fix it THE FIRST TIME. Basically, if you value your time and money, stay away. Their customer service, their body work, and their paint work is abysmal. Any concerns you may have are met with dismissal, gas lighting and disrespect. I will be taking my car to another shop and I can't wait until they get the bill from State Farm for further repairs. read more

As someone who absolutely loves their car (Genesis GV80), I wanted to find the right place to take my car after getting into a fender bender. I read a lot of reviews, talked to others who have had their cars repaired and did some research on the best places that are Aluminum Certified. U.S. Auto Connection seemed to have the best qualifications on paper but was also one of the shops recommended by my insurance company, State Farm. After selecting this shop with my insurance, I was told to reach out to them and get the process started... and luckily they really made it so easy for me. As soon as I called, I was connected to Ruben who walked me through what the process would look like. I was able to drive to the shop, have it looked over quickly / have photos taken and then I was on my way. The entire process took less than 20 min. I appreciated that Ruben asked if I wanted to drop my car off and use a rental or if I preferred to keep my car as long as I could. I wanted to keep my car so he preordered the parts so that it would be very fast once I dropped off my car. I received a call once all the parts were in and then was able to make an appointment to drop off my car/ have the rental car company pick me up. After dropping off my car, it was estimated that it may take about 1.5 weeks but it didn't even take that long. I received daily updates on the progress and it finished early and looked beautiful. I also can't mention enough how incredible the customer service here was. Ruben helped with the rental car company issues I had as well which was above and beyond what was expected. This happened on a Wednesday and I had to drive to Arlington on Sunday to help with my sister who is at home on hospice. Mike made this repair happen Thursday afternoon! Not sure how this shop got such good reviews but avoid this place at all cost. They are slow and incompetent, zero update on your repair, half assed the repair and bunch of liars. Long story below I was sent here by Geico for front end damage after a collision. They told me it would be around 2 weeks to fix it. 2 weeks passed by and not a single call from them. I called and was told they are waiting on parts and should be done within 3-4 days. Once again a week passed and not a single call from them. I had to keep calling to get an update. This goes on for another week. In the end it took them 4 weeks to give my car back. Even then it was incomplete job with missing front plate and protective film on the hood and I needed to come back in a day or two for them to finish. The next day driving to work the car overheated, opened the hood to notice the coolant reservoir was completely empty. And upon further inspection found several other minor problems: windshield reservoir wasn't fastened down, the door floor panel wasn't fastened down, windshield wiper spray didn't work and bunch of bolts and nuts were left in the crevice at windshield makes you wonder what else they forget to bolt down. Ever since the accident my car been making a lot of rattling noises which they refused to acknowledge. A week after getting the car back it started throw error messages regarding headlights and active grille. Apparently they put in bad parts and now need to replace it. It needed another 2-3 days in the shop and since they max out my rental coverage, Geico would not cover for rental anymore. I insisted that they either cover the rental or complete the repair within the day. They agreed to cover the rental and took me to Enterprise and I got a rental. They fix the car and all is well or so it seemed. 6 months later I received a bill from Enterprise. Apparently they refused to pay and when I called to ask about it they said they don't remember agreeing despite Enterprise calling to confirm with them when I told them the shop was covering the repair. And now I'm on the hook for the bill. read more

I had to call over and over to speak to David about the car and he kept promising different dates and never complete the car by then. It's been moved from 2 weeks to almost 2 months. Got me thinking that they are using the car more than fixing it. They've always done amazing work, I've been bringing vehicles here since the early 2000s. My only two hiccups, would be the communication, and the amount of time it took recently to finish my car. I'm not sure if 5 weeks is normal, but it seemed like an eternity this go round. The body shop rep should be in contact with their assigned customer at least 2-3 times a week with updates. The quality of work was apparent, but I'll now think twice next time I need body work done, especially if I'm coming out of pocket on a rental. Ask for updates and pictures often to keep the ball rolling. read more

My car was rear ended and I came here because it was close to where I had my accident. As a women you worry about car shops taking advantage for my lack of knowledge. This place was the complete opposite. I worked with Mike and so glad I had him on my claim. He was honest up front and the pricing was extremely reasonable and fair. Mike helped answer all my questions about insurance and what steps to take. He was very communicative and was great at keeping me up to date on the progress of my car. He took care of returning my rental so I didn't have to go back and return it myself to enterprise. Every time I called the guys who answered the phones were friendly and got Mike on the phone for me so fast. I was never on hold for more than 2 min. I am writing a review based on an INSURANCE covered claim. I see that some people were not very happy with this place, but I dont know if that was people who just got towed here and had no choice, or what. Someone hit my wifes car downtown when it was parked (hit and run.) The damage didnt look that bad, but of course the estimate was still $1700, but I've realized over the years thats just what it is...and that is why you have insurance. Buddy was EXTREMELY helpful, and even made sure that my insurance company counted this as a an uninsured motorist claim which saved me half of the $$ on the deductible! I brought the car in on a Wed, and he estimated it would be finished by Monday and it was. Everything was fast, efficient and the car looks like new. Terrible service, flat out lazy, I have had my car in after my accident what was supposed be a 5-7 day job has now turned into almost a full month. If you have Geico and they send you here, DO NOT GO, ask for another location. The whole month of the car being there not once have I received a call regarding any updates, each time I have had to go out of my way to call for an update on my car. Last Saturday the car is finally ready, to receive my car all dirty with dirt from just sitting at the shop, my car needed a new hood, I do the inspection I go to open the hood to realize the lever to open hood is completely broken so I couldn't even take my car, had to leave it there for them to order the part and I've yet to receive the car for that one piece costing me more $$ on a car rental. I've never experienced this with any auto shop prior, this is just bad. DONT RECOMMEND read more

Horrible horrible horrible. Go anywhere else if you can. I had my car towed on Saturday. A trucker showed up to help but hen said he needed to go so his friend was coming to help me. His friend shows up and negotiates a price with me and says "ummm, $50". I needed help so I said ok. He didn't write me a receipt or anything and dropped me in a parking lot, I was unfamiliar with the area and it had a lot of crime as you could see. I couldn't find my keys that night and looked everywhere. Luckily, my boy friend had a spare. I called them today and they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about and I had them. I obviously did not. They are sketchy do not go here. Then the person on the phone begins to tell me that the guy that helped me saw me at a pepboys which was no where near where he had left me. The person on the phone tries to make me seem like an idiot that my car was there so I must have the keys after I had told him my boy friend had a spare. Why was the trucker snooping around anyway? My car was damaged pretty bad in a wreck almost 3 weeks ago and I picked up my car 5 minutes ago from US Auto Connection. My car looks almost brand new! They did such a great job repairing it. This place goes above and beyond with their customer service. The person handling my car was James and he made an effort to keep me in the loop throughout the process. When I came to pick up the vehicle, he even showed me photos of the repairs they had done and issues that needed repair that happened outside of my wreck. After speaking to James, I can tell that this place is obviously diligent about their work and pride themselves on being experts. So yet again my mom trashed her car!!!!!! It maybe the 4th or 5th time. This women and her car. Then again half of the accidents were by my aunt so I can't blame her for everything. This time my aunt got hit by the CVS on Ella and 610. The guy kept driving and left her there. This was after getting the car back only 2 weeks previous and with the car in the shop for over a month. Well here we go again. I took the car over to the shop where I have gone before. Michael helped us by phone and was really nice and seem to understand that we will have to pay for the repairs out of pocket since my mom and aunt have had way too many accidents. Overall my only complaint is that the communication of the repair status was not the best but the guys did do a good job and the price was expected. Once I voiced my concern regarding status of repair Michael made adjustments accordingly. I plan to head back there I am sure with more car body repairs. read more

I brought my car in for a piece that I knocked off hitting a box on the interstate. The quote was reasonable so I went ahead with the order. I also had other issue with my seat not backing up so I asked them to look at that when they replaced the other part. I worked with David who was knowledgeable, nice and took the time to explain the work being done to me. They received the part I needed the same day. I brought my car in the next day. They sent text updates throughout the process which was nice. They sent me a text that the seat issue was and easy fix and working - they didn't even charge me for this! They text me when my car was ready, the work looked great, like nothing had even happened. I know nothing about cars, but with service like this I guess I don't have to. I had my truck repaired here in Nov. 2016. After stopping for gas I noticed that the fuel door grommets were missing. I contacted Buddy at U.S. and he first said that they were never on the truck (wrong) and then said they'd be sent to me (wrong again). These guys have worked on my cars/trucks so many times I'm shocked I never reviewed them before. My across the street neighbor gave me the opportunity by backing into the driver side rear door on my 2018 Tahoe RST, which has a dark grey (Tungsten they call it) metallic paint that is subtle until you are in bright sunlight. Then you see there are at least4-5 different metallic particles in it (red, green, blue, silver, bronze,.......) and I know it would be a b*tch to match. Greens and greys can be nightmares so I knew exactly where I was taking it. My Allstate folks didn't know about them but said it was my choice. For at least the 6th time I can remember, US Auto Connection did a great repair and most importantly, a great paint matching repair on one of my vehicles. There is no other body shop I consider in the Houston area and these guys are now 20 miles from where I live. I'd drive 100 miles to be able to walk out to my truck and not see a two tone paint job. read more

Don't you DARE! Just, NO. I was in an accident on 5/12/14, and a tow truck showed up, and ended up towing my car to this place. If that ever happens to you, have it taken elsewhere IMMEDIATELY. Then came the insanity. Those clowns had my car for nearly SEVEN--count them!-SEVEN WEEKS TOTAL! I will say that the first 10 days my car sat in their garage because of the incompetence of my adjuster from Geico, but even after a different adjuster took over the case, they still took another five weeks to finish fixing my car. And they wouldn't even call me with updates, I had to constantly call them, and it was always, "oh, we have to order another part," or "oh, it'll just be a couple more days." Or, they would still try to blame Geico even though Geico finally came through. So, two days ultimately turned into almost three more weeks. I reached the rental car max on my policy, and they STILL couldn't give me a time frame for my car. I called and screamed at the guy handling my case, and I also screamed at the owner. As a nanny, they were horribly interfering with my ability to make money. I also lost one of my clients because of this mess--nobody wants an employee who is having constant car troubles, they need you to be there. And when I'm constantly having to figure out transportation--cabs, rideshares, car rentals, etc, it's a pain for everyone. It took some doing, but they had to agree to pay for my car rental again, since I needed a car. It really was the LEAST they could do. But, it still wasn't enough. I FINALLY got my car back on 6/28/14. And no, that's not a typo. I'm so happy to have my car back, and it looks good. Like the other reviewer said, they did wash my car and detail the inside. My only complaint is the new driver's side mirror that keeps moving around when I'm driving on the freeway. (The mirror, not the housing that's actually attached to my car). That's not good, so they'll have to fix that. I'll make sure they order that and have it in stock before I let them have my car again. And even then, I'm staying there so I can harass them in person until it's replaced. None of this "two more days" BS. They talk about providing excellent customer service, but they can't perform their duties in a timely manner, or keep customers informed of progress. EPIC FAIL. Take your car somewhere else, and save yourself the grief. read more
