Dog friendly patio. Service was prompt and not invasive. Mojitos were yummy, not too sweet, and on point. He had the mahi plate, and everything was great. I had the house salad with mahi, and it was great too. Loved the vinaigrette. The fish was slightly overcooked, but that happens often, anywhere we go. We ordered flan, and it was legit too. The owner came by and said hi and was very friendly. Just a great meal and experience. read more

I tried the steak sandwich, which was enough to share, but lacked flavor. I don't know if it was the chimichurri sauce or other seasonings, but I didn't care for it. The meat was tough. The white sangria and plantain chips and guacamole were tasty. read more

Awesome experience!! As a Florida transplant, I really miss and crave Cuban food. The food here was delish, service awesome and mojito just right! Make sure you try the plantanos, which were perfect. Tostones are worth trying but needed a little flavoring. The Cuban sandwich and Ropa Vieja special were just like home! read more

Glendale getting some Cuban flavor - delicious

Went today 4/22 around 5:30pm. Got take out and received the wrong food. We ordered 2 pulled pork wraps. Got home, started eating and discovered we received the veggie wrap. Very disappointing when you are craving meat and receive an herbivores meal. No receipt was provided to verify the order. I was not going to drive back in rush hour traffic on Colorado Blvd to obtain the correct food. read more

Lived in Tampa for years, so was a sceptic about whether Denver could pull off a real authentic Cuban sandwich. This place did not disappoint. Excellent Ybor City quality sandwich and the fried plantains were great too. I wish they hadn't asked if I wanted lettuce and tomato, as the obvious answer is NO if you are going for authenticity. But besides that, I left happy and will be back! read more

Update: Not more than two days after posting the original review below, Cuba Cuba's GM reached out to me to apologize about my experiences and let me know that he had spoken to the staff regarding my concerns. I've been invited to come back and try things out again and probably will, mostly because I appreciate a business that cares about their individual customers and leadership that wants to make things right and continually improve. Like I said, I do like the food! Original Review: I want to like this place, I really do, but I would not recommend getting the food for take out. I'd say I've been more than 5 times since it opened, both to eat in and take out. Each time the staff has been nice, but every time I order to go, something goes awry and initially I didn't catch the mistakes until I was back at my office (read: too late). I've learned to check now before leaving the restaurant, but I've left or almost left with the wrong protein, the wrong sauce or missing an additional sauce almost every time. Most recently, the person who took my order double checked with the kitchen on the sauce in front of me so I trusted them to head out, only to find out it was wrong later. It gets exhausting feeling like you have to triple check your order for them, even though I'm only ordering a regular menu item with a side of additional sauce. I seem to recall the fool me once, fool me twice adage and at this rate, I should probably just throw in the towel. read more

Just had a really nice evening with my Aunt here. We ate dinner elsewhere,(but are eating here tomorrow) we went in for after dinner Mojitos and even though they are quick service Caridad recognized that my aunt has a hard time walking around and she made sure we were taken care of our whole visit. Like I said we were so happy with our visit for drinks we are going back tomorrow for dinner. Thanks for the exceptional service Caridad!! read more

Excellent Cuban sandwich! Reminds me of home (Miami, Fl), and the citrus slaw and fried plantains were perfect. Highly recommmend!

In town for business and having noticed this place on a previous trip, decided to try it out. The Cuban sandwich was fantastic along with the sweet plantains! I had to go back a second time to make sure it was really that good and it was. Service was a little slow, but it fit the laid back vibe of the place so no issue for me. Very casual place to hangout and people watch as there are hotels and several other restaurants in the same area. I will definitely be back. read more

Nice spot in Glendale. The cocktails are great, as is the cafe con leche. My only complaint is there is nothing vegetarian on the menu except for salad, so I will probably never go here to eat. But will definitely stop in for a coffee or mojito. read more

Great restaurant in a great location! At a grand total of 5 minutes away from my house, this is one of the closest (and best!) restaurants I've ever dined at. I had the cubano, which was literally to die for! Ever since I've eaten a cubano here, I've had an uncontrollable craving for them and I will get the cubano off any menu at any place that has them. Thanks for hooking me on one of my new favorite foods, cuba cuba! read more

Definitely not authentic cuban food. The rice and beans have an acidic flavor not even close to Caribbean cuisine. In the other hand sandwiches are pretty good. The tostones are good although it will be great if they didn't put that garlic coat though. I have also tried the tres leches which is good too. I like the vibe of this place, they have good music And overall different food if you want to try something different but don't expect authentic. read more

very friendly bartender. this is a casual eatery that is tastefully decorated. don't expect the food to be "mind blowing". at this price, it's very good. read more

Best Cuban food in town! The "Cubano" is as close to one in Miami as one can get (if you want it crunchy, eat in or heat up a pan at home!) Cafe con leche es delicioso! Im working my way through the menu but so far so good! read more

Not impressed. The food was ok but certainly didn't wow me. I got a Cuban sandwich and it was lukewarm and bland. The decor is cool but the place could use a cleaning. Nice patio. Friendly staff, though they seemed more interested in chatting than in checking on tables. Overall just an average experience and very average food. read more

From a couple of Cuban refugees, this place is the real deal. Thumbs up on Cuban Sandwiches, Platanos Maduros and Tostones. And the people couldn't be nicer. Can't wait to go back and try the other stuff on the menu. Authentic baby! Signed Alvaro and Fernando Freyre de Andrade y Moran read more

I love the food , honestly the best Cuban food I had ever try , and the drinks are fabulous, great service , definitely I recommended 100,, and don't forget to ask for Dianna the best bar tender and waitress :)) read more

Been here multiple times with family and friends. We love the food as it is kinda similar to where we grew up (Dominican republic). Especially love the coffee! Would and have recommended to friends and family. You should try it out! You won't be let down. read more

Cuba Cuba always has great food and cheerful service. Particularly love the pulled pork, the maduros, and the black beans. I only wish there was a branch of Cuba Cuba in Minneapolis! read more

Nice try. Food over seasoned or marinated. Idk really it just wasn't right. Too much mojo. Sautéed onions were juiced too much. A little overboard on the lemons. read more

I'll admit I wanted a cubano after watching "chef" so this place filled the void in my stomach. Great cubano and that garlic sauce was amazing. If you want a really solid sandwich, don't let this one go by. read more

This place rules! Great cubano, excellent bread. My girlfriend always gets the lechon wrap -- yum! I'm also a fan of the picadillo. For sides, tostones or sweet plantains. Good mojitos too! Food/drinks are authentic, staff are always friendly, fun ambience. One of my favorites. read more

We had a great salad here and a couple of the cubans and all was really good. The owner was really nice and it was just a really positive experience. We will definitely be back for more! read more

The cuban sandwich was the best, along with the fried plantains!!! The best part was, that I was visiting from Austin and was enjoying a Bull & Bush at World of Beer and they delivered my food right to me!!! Beer lovers dream!! read more

The pork plate is the perfect portion and so amazingly delish! I love their rice and beans. It's super affordable too!

I'm from Miami and was craving a taste of home so decided to check out this place. I had the pan con bistec (steak sandwich) and a side of plaintains. It wasn't particularly authentic but it was tasty. The bread tasted fresh and the plaintains were cooked right (not burnt). IMO, chimichurri does not go on a steak sandwich. It's not like Miami, but it's not a bad place to grab lunch. Staff were friendly, and greeted us immediately. (Also not like Miami, haha). read more

Stopped in here for a quick bite before we headed over to world of beer to have some brews and we decided to split a Cubano sandwich. What a great play on our part. This sandwich was sooooo good. They also brought us a creamy habanero sauce and it was quite tasty on the cubano! Grilled bread, Swiss, pickles, ham, and pork...topped with creamy habanero....I could eat this sandwich all the time! The menu had a lot of other tasty looking items but I'm not sure I could stray! If it ain't broke don't fix it right? read more

Yumzo! Very very good sandwiches that are different than what we can find on the corner of every other block. Oh, and GREAT service! :)

Had a great Cuban sandwich and plantain chips for lunch - quick, hot and very tasty. The service was good, too. I will be returning.

I haven't eaten too much Cuban in my life so I can't compare that much, however with that being said I thought the food was solid and the mojito a good value. I got the Cuban classic with the sweet plantains and thought both were good, however I would probably try something else the next time. The mojito was strong and not a huge glass which I liked, but maybe they just saw in my eyes that I needed a drink and hooked me up!!! read more

Came in yesterday with my wife. I had the pescado plate, a cuba libre and 3 mojitos, while she had the lechon, a cafecito and the tres leche cake - we also shared some sweet plaintains and tostones. The pescado plate was excellent! My wife enjoyed her food, but said it was nothing spectacular. The drinks were excellent...if you like strong drinks (which I do). The other stuff took me back to our time in Puerto Rico - been craving Caribbean food for months, and this place hit the spot! read more

Ehh, if was just okay. Not even close to real Cuban food you might find in Miami or...Cuba. Just fine if you aren't expecting anything too authentic. read more

The sandwich (Cubano) was not to bad. The only thing is the price. My expectaions were a little higher as far as Price/Quality is concerned. read more

Ordered off of Yelp's Eat24 app before noon on a Sunday. At about 1:30 we were starting to seriously wonder where our foot was. At 2:30 finally found out the restaurant never contacted their delivery service to come pick up our food so who knows how long it was sitting there? Why would we want it at that point. After reading more reviews about their service I'm not sure why people would ever patronize this restaurant. read more

This location in City Set is great, close to home, friendly bar tenders Diana and Micah and great mojitos. It's close to home, with a great patio and so nice when they open up all the windows. Plus they've been having Latin music on Saturday afternoons this summer. And I love the picadillo! I moved here 3 months ago and it was one of the first places I went to. Been here weekly ever since!! read more

Best flan!! Mojitos are great. Not overly sweet, refreshing. Very excellent staff even gave me their wifi code.

For a sandwich shop, I love the location and the feel of this place. The sandwiches we ordered were delicious. The cuban drinks were great as well. I'd like to try their coffee one day. We will certainly be back! read more

Awesome food. Very poor service. Self proclaimed "shift manager", 2 days in a row while being the bartender did a vey poor job.

I ordered the Ensalada Cubana, which was flavorful but the dressing had a smidge too much oil. Others in the group enjoyed their meals as well. Fries had a bit too much oil as well. Would eat there again for sure. read more
