Back then I decided not to do my bedroom or my kitchen but soon came to regret it. I recently decided my bedroom floors needed to be brought up to the same standard as the rest of my apartment. I was also sick of the ugly tile floors in my kitchen. Fast forward to a week ago when John's crew worked magic to upgrade the rest of my apartment floors (see pics attached). They did the same process I described above for my bedroom and added vinyl flooring to my kitchen. I highly recommend NYC Floor Pro and of all the contractors I've used during my current renovation, I was super pleased with the professionalism all around from dealing with John to working with his crew. I greatly appreciated how considerate and pleasant the crew was and appreciated how well they cleaned up after themselves (since I had painters coming in the next day). John was also super helpful in getting me all the documents I needed to submit a comprehensive alteration agreement that was approved quickly. Don't hesitate to go with these guys as I can attest my old floors (installed in 2017) still look brand new and everyone still compliments them.

Adam was not only responsive and responsible, he was so friendly and generous with his time and expertise. That is as rare as they come in in the zone of contracting. Most of all, the work his team did is superb. They took my dark parquet floors with 40 years of built up wax and polish to a fresh and sexy natural blonde vision to behold. They miraculously got out every deep scratch and scar in the old finish in areas where the floor looked hopeless. I kid you not, all the other contractors in the building marveled at his work because they knew what this floor looked like before it was sanded. The sandless work was immaculate. I came here the night they finished sanding and did not see any dust of any kind. We had almost no time at all and Adam made it work in 2 days before we moved in, including drying of the protective coating. The pricing was extremely fair and I am so grateful for everything he did in a stressful situation.

I learned later, with other craftsmen, that with correct tools and consideration of my desired outcome, it was not necessary to butcher my floors on their edges. This flooring company tore my floor up. I did try to go cheap so I went with them. I did not know that when we negotiated price, I negotiated away the sealant ti protect floors and allowance to butcher my floors. I was told back/forth 2/3 coats on floor. With/without sealant? Angel said 2 coats sealant. Soon dirt is well in the grains of wood. I know because I can see where a rectifying area was made with the sealant compared to everything that sticks with floor. I have question is it the @Bona #Bona product. My first rodeo. Fixing will cost me an entire 675 sq new floor. It aches my heart. I don't have that kind of money and I wanted a nice outcome. If I had been informed more, I would have work harder to have paid more instead to spend so much more now fix in a few years after I save to do it. Why are workers not honest?!!!! Please inform the consumer the cost of cutting price. I have regrets that will cost me now to redo and seal my floors, and more, if I want to resume my useable sq ftg because you ate it away to close the gaps you butchered. Please do not do this to another customer again. Just be honest even if you don't get the job. I am so hurt.

Unprofessional. Never called back and never responded back to my texts. For what reason I have no…read moreidea. Called this company and spoke with Berti. I had water damage to one of my room upstairs due to a radiator leak. I wasn't sure if we needed to do just the 1 room or the whole upstairs since the wood is all connected. When I had spoken to him on the phone he said there may be a slightly different color if we do just the one room. So before he came out, I asked if he can get us both quotes. He came out when I wasn't home but my wife was. He didn't measure anything. Look at the room where the damage was and left. He didn't look at the rest of the upstairs. I didn't get a message for him so I texted him. He gave me a quote for the one room. I asked, do you have a quote for how much it would be for the whole upstairs. He said he didn't look at the other room upstairs. I described the size of the other room upstairs and he texted back with a quote. I asked if you can send me in writing the 2 quotes. He said he has to charge me $150 for the quotes. Then I said, "What? Why?" He never responded. Just in case he didn't see it, I text him again the next day. He didn't respond again. Extremely disappointed with him and his lack of response.

We had VJ and his team over to redo our floors in our home. I had full carpeting upstairs…read more(4bedrooms, closets,hallway and stairs) my downstairs had wood floors but they were cherry red and I hated them so I had them refinished and stained to a lighter color. VJ came to my home the first time and took measurements and next day he reached out and gave me a quote it was very reasonable and I agreed to move forward and we schedule for end of March, with a week to a week in half of work. First day they were on time and came ready to work. I was home with 2 dogs and they made the situation as comfortable as possible. in the evening they all cleaned up and left. Next day same thing on time and did some great work and cleaned up again. We were living with our dogs and kids under construction the cleaning up was very much appreciated. Originally he was not going to do my stairs (I was going to DIY it but thought he should do it) I was so grateful they did my stairs! They came out perfect! I am so happy with the work they put in. He did the molding and shoes all around the house for us. There were a few hiccups with my home (wasn't leveled) VJ gave me straight up view and told me he could do just do the work as is or I can level it for you and he explained everything. I liked that him and the team took pride in their work and I trusted his input and glad I listened. I highly recommend hiring him they did a phenomenal job! My home looks great!

My original plan was to just sand and refinish the floors and stairs. Both stairs and floors were under carpet for decades. The floors were still in decent condition, but the stairs were too damaged.....full of staples and nails. I was hoping the stairs could be saved, but Vijay told it to me straight. They're not salvageable. He knew I was on a budget, so what Vijay did for me was just replace the top part of the stairs (treads) and put a matching piece of wood overlay on the bottom (riser). But it looked like I installed a whole new staircase. Vijay is passionate about his trade and it shows in his work. You can tell he has a lot of experience and loves what he does. We stopped in last minute, as we needed some entryway tiling for a job that was supposed to be hardwood. Turns out that the flooring we ran throughout our house was just not a good fit for the space. The problem was that our contractor* demanded we have tile ready in a day or two. Totally realistic right? Enter All American Flooring. Not only did Sammy get what we were going through, he was down to earth and helped us pick just the right entryway tile we wanted for the landing. He helped us lay out around 10 samples on the ground, and its funny, what we went with was not at all what I was thinking we would get. I happy with Sammy's suggestion and the final product; Italian porcelain with slight grey undertones and it sparkles gently when light hits it. In other words, its strong, it looks friggin cool, and the sparkles make my player two super happy. Best of all, the process couldn't have been more than 30 min, and our tile was ready for pickup 2 days later. Ralphie came to my home and got to work right away for two days in a row. The good, Ralphie put molding around my basement walls. He also went above and beyond to place drafting round my basement door as well as my laundry door. However, now my laundry door will NOT close. Ralphie also told me he couldn't get behind my dryer because of some elbow pipe but my contractor came to my home and pulled the dryer right out the wall with no problem. I didn't like how he left an uncovered space as well as an uneven floor in my basement. One day I went outside and saw trash in my backyard. I asked Ralphie if they take out the trash and he told me no, they do NOT take out the trash which I thought was weired. I keep my patio cushions in trash bags and someone from his team, took my cushions out of the trash bags and used them to throw away the trash his team created which I thought was unprofessional. Lastly, I have a lot of candles. Someone from his team broke at least 6 of them but didn't say anything. It wasn't until I started cleaning up, I noticed what happened. Ralphie was supposed to come to my home to fix my laundry door to have it closed and he has not done so as of yet. Again, I was expecting a little more especially for the price I paid. Would I hire them again, probably not.
