Using CT Express limo was like nothing I've ever experienced, and I've used drivers a number of times a year for business travel over a long career. When I say it is the worst experience I've ever had, I'm not exaggerating. Most of the positive reviews are fake, astroturfing from friends and family in Stamford, something I should have looked at more closely before booking. I booked them to pick up my son at JFK and bring him to Stamford, CT for a wedding, and for a return trip. I booked on 10/3 for trips on 10/6 and 10/8. The trip from the airport was mostly uneventful, it took a long time but that's the nature of pool travel sometimes, waiting for someone else to get to the car from their flight. The return trip to JFK airport however, was an unmitigated disaster. On 10/04 the departure time of 6:30am on 10/8 at the hotel was confirmed. On Saturday 10/7, the day of the wedding, it was reconfirmed again in the morning and we thought we were all set and enjoyed the wedding. Then, while we were attending a wedding, another unclear email came in late in the day that we did not see, moving the pick up time up about an hour, with no phone or text follow up to confirm although they had our mobile number, just an email we didn't read because we are now already at the event and had already confirmed twice. This was one of a total of fourteen emails for a round trip to JFK, fourteen completely unclear emails! The driver, Cesar, then called once the next morning, at 5:30am, a full hour before the scheduled pick up while my son was in the shower, and then just left without him. The next email, at 7:52am, was a payment receipt from this dishonest business for a ride my son wasn't on. I called, and only received a refund when I told them I would have my credit card refund the charge regardless. The representatives of this company were beyond rude in every interaction, and left me scrambling to get my son a ride to the airport on time. I would highly recommend CT Express limo! We had a late flight into JFK so needed a 10:30pm pick up on a Friday night. CT Express made it so easy to book the pick up, communicated with me clearly via email, and on the night of our pickup I had a message waiting for me when we landed with contact info for our driver Marco, just like they had said via email. Marco arrived to the airport before 10:30 and was ready for us when we surprisingly arrived early and exited to passenger pickup just before 10:30. Marco was fantastic, professional and super friendly. The drive was smooth, the pick-up vehicle was beautiful, clean, and Marco even had water for us. We could not have been happier with our experience and will definitely book again in the future! read more

I booked a roundtrip reservation from Bridgeport to JFK. Flight departing at 7am arriving 12pm. After I completed the entire reservation online and submitted the request, the email confirmation I received stated I had to wait for approval. Only to get declined because the pickup time was "too early" and the return trip was "too far". I would imagine with the advancement of technology, their system would not allow me to complete booking my reservations and only allow me to select VALID times and Pickup Locations. I couldn't give this company a negative rating on customer experience because it's not an option. read more

We waited 90 minutes for our shuttle ride home. Our ride to the airport went just fine. The rider was timely and polite. However, we waited 90 minutes for our shuttle driver to get home. Our flight landed early and we called them to say we landed and had our luggage and were told the driver would be there in 10-20 minutes. 30 minutes later he still hadn't showed, so we called again and was told there was traffic, but he would arrive in 10-20 minutes. By an hour, we were loosing patience and called once again. This time we were told we shouldn't expect a timely pick up because it was a "lovely day" and they were a shuttle service. I understand traffic can cause unanticipated delays, but they should have told us it would be a 90 minute wait when we first called. That way we wouldn't wait in the hot weather outside at the pick up station. They also could have called us to say that the driver was still stuck rather than making us call several times to see if/when he would ever show up. When the driver finally arrived, he didn't know where Norwalk was and had to plug in and set up his GPS while he was driving down the highway, which doesn't inspire confidence. read more

I have used Ct Express Shuttle/Royal Limo dozens of times over the years for holiday family travel from the NY airports to CT. My family has ridden in their shared shuttles, private cars, SUVs and vans, and without fail have been in clean cars with safe, courteous and prompt drivers. When we have needed last minute changes they have always been accommodating. This last Thanksgiving week I hired them 4 times for family members, had one flight delayed then cancelled and changed altogether, and once again received wonderful service. Forget Uber; this business has my loyalty. read more
